Jon acts like he can't breathe without touching Damian. He's holding him any chance he gets, private or public doesn't matter. He holds Damian like he's something fragile not because he is but because he's something precious and worth protecting. Loves to pull him onto his lap and hold him there, arms wrapped his waist and nuzzled into the space between his neck and shoulder, loving small and safe he feels in his arms. It eases him, grounds him and something about Damian is just so soft and warm it makes him fuzzy inside and he never wants to let go. If he could he'd hold Damian forever.

For Damian, he might never admit, at least not openly but being in Jon's arms is his favorite place to be, he feels safe, secure and like he belongs there curled up against Jon's warmth like a cat to a heater. Jon's arms are where he goes when he feels like everything is just too much, he'd burrow himself closer to Jon if it were physically possible, to the point were it's hard to sleep if it's not in Jon's arms. To be held with such care like he is something worth protecting, like he is something that should be handled with care heals something within him.

I'm 3 days post-op and going to be recovering for the next few weeks. I am working on chapter 4 of "A Run in Your Shoes". It's slow going tho. I've been alternating between chapter 4 and a blazamy fic! Part of me wants to finish "ARIYS" before I start posting the other fic. Not really sure what to do. Thank you to those reading my silly little fics anyway! Y'all have no idea how much it brightens my day! ☺️

Oh boy when I tell you I have this one shot that lives in my brain about Damian and Bruce getting into a big argument and Damian runs away to Jon's (they're like 17, 18 or 19 still haven't decided) and Jon is all "stay here for as long as you want I'll deal with my parents in the morning" Cue the next morning and Jon comes downstairs to see Bruce in his living room talking to his dad about Damian's whereabouts.

"Jon, I know my son is here"

"Okay so? I'm not gonna let you see him"

"You don't get a say in this, he's my son"

"Yeah well he's my Robin"

"He is not your Robin, he is mine and I'm taking him home!"

"If you don't think I'm willing to fight just to prevent you from reaching Damian than you're wrong. Cus from the moment you and my dad decided to pair us up together I made a pact with myself that I would protect him from anything and anyone that threatened to hurt him and that includes you, dad or not."

Jon than proceeds to take Damian somewhere far away. And by far away I mean like another country away LOL they have a mini vacation before Damian decides he's ready to go home and see his dad.

Im thinking about how Jon Kent does not respect Batman when he grows up and will not put up with any of Bruce's bullshit regarding Damian. This is very true in the comics. (Nightwing is his favourite and his mentor. The boy lives and breathes, standing on business with Batman.)

When Jon and Damian get older (no aged up Jon so we can see teenage rebellion), he becomes Bruce's worst nightmare.

He brings Damian home late and sneaks through his sons window to just sleep beside him. (They are not subtle about their crushes at all, but they have time to delevop before they start to date) When Bruce upsets Damian, Jon will just show up to glare at him while cuddling and comforting his son on his couch.

If Bruce really screws up, Jon just takes Damian away to the Kent house or on an adventure to get his mind off it. If Jon catches Damian and Bruce arguing, you better believe Jon is arguing now, too.

Jon is always one bad word about his best friend away from squaring the fuck up.

When Damian decides he doesn't want to be Robin anymore and instead a doctor and Bruce doesn't get his head out of his ass fast enough. Jon takes over. He and Damian organise for Damian to finish school years early, and he encourages Damian through the MCATS.

And guess where has an incredible medical program? Willing to take this 16 year old prodigy? That's right, Metropolis University.

Clark and Lois are thrilled to foster Damian while he does his degrees. (They are so proud of how much he's grown. They support him as much as possible. See, Bruce, it's not that hard!!) Jon is there at every graduation, ceremony, and crisis.

When Damian does graduate from med school and Jon his Bachelors degree, Jon and Damian start dating and quickly figure out that this is what they want for the rest of their lives.

Jon gets Damian to elope with him. They do not tell Bruce, and Batman only finds out when Jon changes his league paperwork. (Clark, Lois, and Dick were there, but Bruce had upset all of them recently, so they felt no need to tell him.)

Jon Kent then becomes the in-law from hell. Bruce never knows peace. Jon is so protective and steps in any time Bruce messes up with any of his children because now the bat family is Jons family, too.

Jon Kent doesn't take any shit when it comes to his family, especially from Batman.

Just had a realization about Fairly OddParents: New Wish’s finale:

It’s centered around Hazel wishing her millionth wish but- a million is A LOT. Like A LOT A LOT

If we’re being generous and say Hazel has had Cosmo and Wanda for a whole year, 365 days, she would have to have made 2,739.7 WISHES EVERYDAY

Hazel rarely makes wishes! That’s what makes her different and a pretty interesting protagonist for this franchise, she tries to be independent and solve problems on her own. She makes like, 2 wish per episode, one main wish and one to undo the damages, maybe like 8 wishes if she wants to keep an act up like at Hotel Wellsington. She often goes about her everyday without making a wish! How is she averaging 2,700 wishes a day?? That’s 112 wishes per hour! 2 wishes for every minute of a year!

If it was Dev, yeah I can believe that. He keeps repeating wishes and would ask for magic to help with everything, I can see him wish bombing and knocking out 500 wishes in an hour (8 wishes/min). But Hazel? I feel like she’d feel bad asking for so much.

While I get why they didn’t go for the ‘keeping your fairies a secret for a whole year, here’s a muffin that grants any wish’ since they haven’t gotten to do a Christmas, Halloween, Easter or Hazel’s birthday episode yet. But that just makes thinking about the logistics of Hazel making 1,000,000 wishes all the more baffling.

It took Timmy years to reach 1,000,000 wishes (Poof existed when Timmy hit a million) and he wished willy nilly! Thats not even mentioning the whole million wish thing came from Timmy’s Secret Wish, aka the episode where it’s revealed Timmy wished for time to stay still for 50 years. It took Timmy more than 50 years to get a million. And it took Hazel a year or less???

Damian being the clingy one when it comes to Jon is actually so cute and plays into the fact that yeah he probably does have separation anxiety.

Like they'd be hanging out, Jon leaves the room to go check on something without telling Damian, and Damian's following after him 3 seconds later like "Why did you leave?"

Every time Jon gives him a shirt or a hoodie of his to wear he's never going to get it back. Half of Jon's wardrobe is almost gone.

When Jon tries to get out of bed for whatever reason the second the bed shifts Damian wakes up and with the most soft and sleep laced voice says "Don't go..."

When out in public he's basically glued to Jon's side almost all the time.

And Jon doesn't see a problem with this at all he's just like "Damian's always been like this. If it's what he needs, it's what he needs."

Question I've been thinking about ever since Icky Licky was revealed: How old are the Smiling Critters and Nightmare Critters? Cause I assumed they were kids, with them being the protagonists of a kid show and all.

But- Icky Licky is a frog. There's not a hint of tadpole in him. Therefore, he's not technically a kid, right?

All the names of the Critters (with the exception of Rabie Baby) don't outright say that they are kids. Baba Chops can refer to both lamb (baby sheep) and mutton (adult sheep) chops. Dogday and Catnap aren't Puppyday or Kittennap.

But then- Kickin is yellow. Like a baby chick. And doesn't have the adult chicken traits like a wattle. Is this hairdo a yellow comb? Is his tail meant to be the curved tail feathers of a rooster? Cause the animals can be in different colours (no rabbit is naturally green) so is he just a yellow fully grown chicken? Or is Icky just a kid frog?
