story time.
once upon a time, in a far off kingdom, there lay a small village at the edge of the woods.
and in this village, lived a young maiden, a carefree young lad, and a childless baker with his wife.
up above this village, in the clouds far away, lived a giant baker, with his own wife.
now, this giant may be much bigger than the humans, and he shouldnt care much about them, but when he and his wife saw the state of the carefree young lad, knowing the other giants and giantesses around would kill him in an instant... they took the boy in, gave him food and rest.. and his wife even coddled the boy to her breast.
whenever the boy looked at the giant, he looked as if the giant would swallow him for lunch! that pained the giant, and although he had no intention of harming the boy... he ran. he stole the precious gold that the giant had worked so hard to earn and ran.
so, the giant chased him. they couldn't live much longer without their money, and watching the boy steal it after they'd cared for him was painful. the giant remembered his resentment toward humans, and as he chased the boy, he lost his footing on the massive beanstalk he'd used to get up there in the first place, plummeting hundreds of miles down to the ground... to his death.
from up above, the giant's wife watched in horror as her precious, hardworking husband fell to the ground from so far up. after sobbing for a few moments, the giantess regained her composure, rushing back inside to gather materials for her journey to the earth. she scrambled down the beanstalk, landing with a harsh shake of the ground. she couldnt bear to see her husband's body, lying dead in the field. her determination rose high as she walked the grass of the earth she'd never dared to walk on.
as she came across a witch, she began to attempt to explain herself.
"where is the boy?! he killed my husband!" she shouted, her rage rising with each word. as she pried for the boy, she watched as his fellow humans attempted to keep him from her. this only angered the giantess more, urging her to snatch... someone up. she scoffed, seeing that it wasnt the boy she was looking for. and, blinded by rage, she dropped the human to his death.
after more minutes of impatient waiting, the widowed wife had enough, figuring she'd find him herself.
but, before she could do that, the miserable, wronged woman found herself trapped under a massive tree, knocked out on the ground. the humans had conspired against her, and the giantess died, sad, alone, and hurt.

Had a lot of fun solidifying designs and drawing them all posing and stuff :p
A lot of these designs were first drafts, so some of them got kinda dated. I went and redrew some of them and spruced up others.

Had a silly thought about @somerandomdudelmao himbo and had to draw it quickly to get it out of my system, lol. I am very interested in seeing whether or not he actually gets eaten or somehow succeeds at scoring an alien sweetheart.

Musical Theatre Song Contest: Round One B
Submitter’s propaganda under the cut
The Starry Night
Capturing Vincent Van Gogh's thoughts and feelings about both the world around him and his own painting of the same name, The Starry Night is a auditory painting in its own right
Okay listen. Listen. This musical is mediocre at best. Starry is an okay musical about Vincent van Gogh. But this song is one of the best pieces of music ever brought to the stage. The way you can hear the stars sparkling and the sky shifting. The references to van Gogh's letters. "Are these the colors of my legacy? When what's hanging on a wall is the only thing that's left of me?" My entire heart.
