How am I meant to describe the sheer visceral importance and connection I have with this song? This verse in particular; it’s essentially a verbalization of the reason I create and I don’t know if I can get across how monumental that connection is to me

Word count on the new chapter currently around 1.3k, I haven't written in a few days bc I wasn't feeling all that well, and while mapping out the things I might want to include in chapter 3, I had the thought that I might want to edit and change some parts of the previous chapters (mainly speaking, modifying the familial terms from English to Farsi) because... well Areyan will gain another brother and him calling them both “brother” will get confusing real fast especially when Isfan himself is also calling Shapur “brother” and things like “brother Isfan” and “brother Gieve” do NOT flow well in English and they feel so awkward. Also I can't say I know enough about English familial terms to do like cutesy nickname-like modifications on the familial terms like “uncle” and “brother”. There's “grandmama” but... y'know......

It's not as though I speak Farsi, far from it, I'm mainly relying on Wiktionary AND the r/farsi subreddit. I submitted a question there and everyone was really helpful!

I don't know. It's just something I've been thinking a little about recently. I would like to hear y'all's opinions.

The Anthology.

My HMSonas! I’m not really sure how to start with articulating their lore storyline-wise, but here’s some character info for now. Also PLEASE feel free to send asks or prompt discussion [as long as it’s not like literally psychoanalyzing me lmbo) and the sort I’d love to share [: ]]

The Heart: Harp. A being of stagnation, but consistency. They have held the hands of the host and led them along for years; that repetition has led Harp to undermine the true level of agony they and the other thirds have experienced. The normalization of pain makes it difficult for them to verbalize it, whether current or remnants. Comfortable, but overwhelming.

The Mind: Muse. A being of unpredictability, but potential. They not only keep the host moving forward, but allow them to reach greatness; they work impressively hard at the cost of neither taking breaks nor giving perceived failures grace. They thrive in self-directed apathy, and are an easy victim of sunk cost fallacy and perfectionism. Motivating, but exhausting.

The Soul: Zinn. A being of contradiction. Full of hope, and a source of relapse. Suffering through constant inner turmoil as they grieve the past self that was ignored and berated, while going silent as the current thirds suffer. Desperate to move forward and consistently love themself{/selves}, but the draw of enmity is such a tempting call as synapses fall ill again and again. They find it easier to be kind to the others while in a state of depersonalization {they would never treat another the way they treat themself}.

D3ar: Also known as c!Dear. Characterized for lore, not to be confused with my other oc Dear. A personification of mental illness, and self deprecating/hurtful ideation. They are not their own person, if you can call it a person at all. Not something to be sympathized with, but it is not inherently malicious; it exists to fulfill a psychological niche, but grew to an overwhelming degree. Exists in a separate segment of the psyche that is isolated from HMZ… at least, they did until Zinn wandered too far, and ended up indefinitely separated from their other thirds. Harp and Muse are not aware of D3ar’s existence, and—initially—Zinn wasn’t either.

L33-01 pretty much has the same arms as the DCA but green instead of blue and yellow.

Image 2: Inside their Chassis

L33-01 has a really shoddily put-together internals, making them prone to random shut downs or temporary loss in limb function if they get jostled around too much. Their main power source is pretty much a fancy car battery, making them unable to use the charge stations without risking the integrity of their battery, aka if they use the charging stations, their battery will literally fucking explode :3

L33-01 has a separate charging port and battery for their screen face due to the delicacy of the display (more proof of the shoddy craftsmanship of their body). L33-01 also has a light sensor similar to the DCA but instead of swapping ai's, it controls the lights in their stomach and arms, meaning if it gets dark enough, L33-01 will glow like a glow stick. L33-01 also has the ability to look 360 degrees around them thanks to the swivel joint around their neck

L33-01 can display a variety of emotions on their digital display, their freckles can shift to blush if the emote deems it necessary. L33-01's face is also a touch screen, allowing others to interact with the display and simulate L33-01 feeling the touch as well.

Silly OC time. Rabbit that, ultimately, ended up forgetting whatever the real name was—so, incredibly often, the rabbit just comes up with a bunch of other names.

While not originally being able to do so, the rabbit is capable of shape shifting, and has now been able to do so for a long time. Although, there is some difficulty in keeping the form.

Others have given the rabbit the general title of “Shapeshifter Rabbit” because, oh, look at what that rabbit is doing—and the fella likes it, because at least it’s another name, you know?

Incapable of speech, but communicates specifically through gestures. The rabbit isn’t incredibly human-like or anything. Small rabbit that sometimes walks on two.
