I'm starting German 101, and today we just learned exactly how close the pronunciations of 'u' and 'ü' are

I had to stop and think about that, but yeah they are kind of similar! At the very beginning I’m sure it’ll be more difficult to tell the difference between the two. As you learn more German though, you’ll start to hear the difference more clearly ^^ That’s great that you started it btw :D

IDK if you want my input BUT the plural form "beards" applies to a gay man and lesbian woman who are in a relationship. Most times when there's a gay man and lesbian woman, they both know of the other's sexual orientation and are in the relationship to hide their sexuality.

That's so interesting, thanks for sharing!  I've never heard it in the plural before, but that makes sense.

gilboob replied to your post: They only come out if they grow crooked like one of mine but if they grow straight up then you can keep them But be careful bc when they grow food gets stuck and rots your teeth and can infect your gums and jaw then it needs to be removed well that is terrifying id much rather have surgery
