Besides a lack of money, possibly Ruby’s Father having posters of a lost child up….

So after I waited a while I realized you hadn’t actually read the post and reacted just to the first sentence, but here’s why the “lack of money” and “Ruby’s Father not being willfully useless” theories don’t work.

1. RNJR never comment, “Wow, we’re out of money” while they’re traveling. They never say, “If only we could afford the train!” or “There’s gotta be something we could do in exchange for a sweet airship ride.” Now if that were the case they could be traveling to Kuroyuri to kill the grimm there, because the bounty on its head would more than cover the cost of travel, but because they’re ambushed by Tyrian it’s a more difficult task than they previously thought. Buuuuut that doesn’t happen.

2. Ruby’s father uses Yang as an excuse not to help, but when Yang leaves he never offers to come with or asks if Ruby is OK or expresses really any concern about Ruby’s well-being in such a way that might imply he’ll go and help. He just kind of goes, “Yang. Yang. What are you doing. You’re not ready. But I won’t stop you because I’m sad about my exes.” There’s no bounty on Ruby’s head either.

in other words there’s no reason for RNJR not to take the train in the story we got. And I know. I rewatched the whole volume while doing my rewrite.

I mean I’m relatively new to the behind the scenes aspect of the fandom so please correct me if I’m wrong, but I always understood and felt that it came across that Arryn and Barb actually did want Bumbleby to become a thing and they honestly shipped it, it’s just that’s not how the show was being written by those in charge.

Like when I ask the question tomorrow I’m sure they’ll all answer it so you’ll get Barb’s response as well, but I always thought that Barb and Arryn wholeheartedly shipped Bumbleby and wanted proper queer representation in the show, just like much of the fandom..

Actually, Blake has four ears because it would have looked weird for her to not have ears before it was reveled she was a faunas. Granted, most people called it in the long run.

the thing is if they wanted it to be a surprise they still could have made her only have those ears

like she could have had a design where her hair was covering where human ears would be

my opinion on;

character in general: okay, honestly I have like no idea about RWBY. So i dont know her exact canon portrayal, or story or anything. So towards the character hersself i’m pretty neutral.how they play them: I think you play her good. Like I said i have no idea about it all, so basically everything i get out of your interactions with others and me are the only knowledge i get. But it is enjoyable to let my muses innteract with Weiss. the mun: Very precious. Love talking to you, you’re so nice and sweet.

what is my;

overall opinion: It is really enjoyable to write with you. I love it throwing all kinds of characters at Weiss and it’s so much fun. Even just that friendship-thing that got estalished between Weiss and Kevin is just great! And smol Weiss is adorable.
