It probably would be a spoiler LOL but hartley and rhino would be such a good pair! Now I just need for Disney to make it happen, give the people what they want!

I know there tends to not be many spin off series (off the top of my head I can only think of ones off of Disney XD and suite life) but what are some spin off shows you’d like to see? Is there a particular way you would do them? Or better yet is there a spin off you would re-do?

i believe ron and john pitched a spinoff about BOOMS which i kinda figured l&m cali style was leading up to given the introduction of a lot of new, younger characters. would i be bummed that thered be no dove beyond possibly a cameo? sure, but would i still watch it and be excited about it? absolutely. i guess it would just take place after what wouldve been the summer of rooney, when parker is back from the biodome. we could see his relationship with val develop. joey wouldve graduated but maybe hed go to college in california? ive seen him as more of a homebody before but for the sake of the show, i might want him to be there lol. maybe jillow could resume, josh would be there... the BOOMS kids were fun (finch was my fav) so i feel like it could work. they could continue the reality show format from l&m. now that we KNOW thats what it is, it could be a new reality show that airs in luxembourg and the fact that its a reality show could be played with in the show itself, rather than not mentioned at all like in l&m (until the finale, that is).

ive thought before that a dog with a blog animated series would be fun! poor mick and daphne would be out of a job lol but i think it could be a cute concept. you could get away with a lot more physical humor/action/etc with the dogs since you can animate them.

ive said this before in the discord that ravens home took till season 5 to finally get the concept right imo. i do enjoy the first four seasons but i have a good deal of problems with them, namely that they didnt pull enough from the original show, which s5 is a lot better at doing, plus they felt repetitive. s5 is getting better at being a mix of episodic and serialized, so i have hope for s6. so basically, if i were to re-do it, i would've started at s5 lol, but kept the good stuff from seasons 1-4, like the original cast (nia bugged me sometimes, tho)

gmw im sure thered be things id do differently but its been too long since ive watched either show to say specifically. tho i think we can all agree that we couldve done without the triangle/maya "turning into riley" lol (also rilaya endgame)

More thoughts on the colour theory the triangle not triangle thing. On the colour wheel the primary colours are red blue and yellow. So when the love triangle starts either maya Riley or Lucas wear red blue or yellow. Example gm semi formal maya red dress Riley yellow and Lucas blue. The colours seem to change from person to person but the same three colours. But when they aren’t in a love triangle moment the colours change.

Farkle wears a lot of green which is a complementary colour to red. Red is mostly seen on riley.

Purple is a complementary colour to yellow and orange. Depending on the shade of purple. But for this theory in gm goodbye Lucas has on a dark purple shirt and maya an orange jacket. Complementary colours. Dark purple also means gloom and sadness.

Other ideas are in gm yearbook book farkle aka Donnie Barnes and Riley wear black I think it means morning sadness. Riley sad she lost farkle. And maya wears a lot of black in gm sweet sixteen.

We see the colour wheel on the wall in the art room scenes.

We also see red, blue, green, yellow of the family game. Red Riley. Blue Lucas. Green frakle. Yellow maya. And we know the family game = life.

Rewatching Girl Meets World scenes because I can and the scene right before Angela shows up at the shop is so fucking funny to me. These actors/characters know each other so well. But, really, it’s this dialogue.

Fuller House did the exact same thing Girl Meets World did in it’s series finale

Spoilers for the Fuller House finale.

I haven’t kept up with the show but I was curious on how they were going to end it, skimmed through the final episode, and it ends up working similar to Girl Meets World

Both the Fuller House and Girl Meets World finale spend the entire episode with emotional goodbyes because they think it’s going to be the last time they’re all together, only to not go through with it at the end and making it that they’re all still together. 

I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I’m kind of disappointed when these types of things happen. To me, it just kind of makes all the emotional goodbye scenes unnecessary because there’s no payoff for them. 

Other Disney Channel family sitcoms that have had character(s) actually go through with leaving feel more emotional to me:

Suite Life on Deck: Ends with the kids graduating, everyone saying goodbye, and leaving the shop

A.N.T. Farm: Ends with Fletcher deciding to take a job offer in New York and not to go back to Z-Tech with his friends, with goodbyes with all of them at the end

Truthfully, that plot might have just been away to write Jake Short out of the show in the case the show got renewed because he was going to star in another show, considering they ended with a new character from that episode coming to Z-Tech, but as it is the finale it still stands to me. 

Jessie: Ends with Jessie leaving to star in a TV show. 

Bunk’d S3: Ends with the Ross kids saying goodbye to Lou and the camp when they all end up getting different opportunities. 

Just imagine any sitcom you’ve watched that lead up to a character moving away. If at the end of the episode, they came back and said “Psych. We’re actually not going away!”, would the episode still be as fulfilling to you?

okay but the clique six could've ended up polyamorous & that would have been great. (ik the whole identity crisis thing but) riley, maya, & lucas couldve stopped making such a big deal out of the triangle (which caused drama for everyone lmao) especially since riley & maya finally realized they love each other and that would make smackle open up about lucas & farckle would initially be mad but smackle teaches him that she still likes him just as much theres no need for jealousy which is also good bc farkle of course loves riley & maya equally then when farkle goes to lucas to talk things out bc he’s now okay with it he realizes he may have a thing for lucas too, & just when it starts to feel complicated maya is like “can i go out with zay?” & everyone is fine so maya & zay start dating & honestly when h gets involved zay & farkle like each other too and with this the whole squad learn a lot about communication, judgment, open-mindedness, being considerate of other people’s feelings, and that love is bigger than all that drama

Um yeah so does anyone else think it's weird how they just rewrite Ricky and Nini's backstory like first they met in 7th grade, but then they changed it to like 1st grade or something. Idk what the point of that was, but I liked it better that they were just each other's first loves and first relationship bc then at least his commitment issues make sense, like ur gonna know someone since kindergarten and not be able to say "ily"? And it kinda just makes them seem codependent and weird like they've spent their whole lives together and can't function without each other. Like literally, Nini couldn't do the play unless Ricky was Troy. And Ricky can only go to Nini with his problems (which is ok i guess except its kinda rude to use someone to unload all your emotional baggage on after you hurt them but also made it clear you want them back? Idk seems like a lot of mind games to me! Like it can't just be on ur terms Ricardo!) Anyway, yeah...I think this new backstory was just to escape from Nini/EJ and Ricky/Gina but it actually made it worse bc their feelings toward the other 2 were just dropped like a hot potato out of the blue. Like wouldn't it make more sense if Nini actually liked EJ and Ricky had to work harder to win her back? Idk I would make him work harder! If I was Nini, I would be thinking "hmm so you joined the play to prove your commitment to me meanwhile I have to walk in on you serenading Gina and ya'll 2 going to the skate park? No, ma'am!" And I don't even like Ricky and Gina anyways, but it was weird how quickly his feelings shifted and how cold he acted toward her when she came back. It's like why even have that plot in the first place then when you might as well have just made them friends? But then u also can't act like you didn't and try to ignore EJ and Gina just bc Rini is back together. You shouldn't have to disregard one relationship to build up another, especially bc Rini was already good and didn't need to do that by adding this new backstory and other mumbo jumbo. Real stupid luv. Rini got back together too soon, and the backstory of them knowing each other their whole lives just makes them seem codependent. It was good that Ricky was able to finally express his feelings, but the whole last ep was kinda rushed. And with Nini going to this new skool and stuff...idk doesn't seem the best time!

Moving on...anyone else think seblos is just nothing? Like it's good that people want representation, but how many times is there gonna be an LGBT couple that gets thrown together with no build up and just exists in the background while everybody uwus over them bc they make it up in their heads! I am not gonna sit here liking seblos bc idk why they're together! They just were together all of a sudden like...wut? I personally would like Seb a lot more if they acknowledged his shadiness bc that one scene w Kourtney where he said "don't quit make up to be in the show! Ur so good at it" was a dif way of saying "U stay in make up bc that's where u belong and i don't want u to steal my spotlight. Stick to the status quo." And he's Sharpay so it makes sense, right? Guess not bc everyone just treats him like a smol angel bean! He's a Slytherin!

Big Red and Ashlyn is the worst thing ever btw! All their "flirting" is major cringe and forced and they both seem geekburger to me. I don't get why people want them together except bc they're bored. If anybody likes this pairing, hmu bc I would luv to fight about it!

Gina is also overrated imo. She just gets the Jade treatment while errbody hte on Nini and for why? Ugh ya'll will never be the GMW fandom! 😩

Lucas Friar.

In gm Hollywood we see Lucas at the end dressed like James dean. His name is mr cool cool Tristan Taylor mc stupid ......... it’s the mr cool and the Tristan Taylor part that is interesting. Mr cool is a character from the mr men books. He makes your adventures come true. Maya also received the totally cool award in gm flaws. Connection. Maya calls Riley little miss sunshine head in gm ski lodge, little miss sunshine is another book from the mr men collection.

I’m not sure how this fits in but there is a connection between the name Tristan Taylor and Yu gi. Tristan Taylor is a character in a Japanese anime called yu-gi-oh. Lucas character has similar traits his friends Yu gi sounds like Farkle and Tristan Taylor has a huge crush on a charter named miho. Miho has a best friend name tea Gardner. Both miho and tea have the say qualities as Maya( miho) and tea(Riley). The Gardner name was also used for Charlie Gardner. I’m not sure what the Japanese anime has to do with gmw. But they also talk about Godzilla which is a Japanese monster.

As for the Lucas and the James dean reference I think it has to do with the movie a rebell without a cause. The movie is about a new kid that moves to town that is emotionally confused. His home life is falling apart. Overbearing mother and weak father. Cause domestic violence in the home. There’s a character in it called Judy. = the sheep.

We don’t know much about Lucas or his back story but I would think from what we do know that his dad would be the overbearing one. He has a heated phone call with him about going back to Texas in gm friendship. He talks about his mama in a loving way. Mentioned his dad got transferred to nyc, my guess is that his dad is a strict military man. Why I believe this is from the yes sirs in season 1. In gm friendship he said he didnt get a vote in where he lived. He runs for president of the class and want everyone to have a vote. Not live under a dictorship (Farkle = his father) Farkle for dictator runs a army. Lucas wants to live in a democratic society and communist rule in gm communism. Also in gm rules Lucas wears a blue camouflage shirt which is meant to look like the fight between maya and Riley but Lucas’s back story is told in the background. Blue camouflage why mean his father is in the navy. The navy also fits in with the colour theory of Lucas wear blue all the time. Lucas also played George Washington in gm game night. George Washington being a military man. In gm belief and gm hurricane they talk about his faith in god. gm hurricane talks about when he went to New Orleans after Katrina. Lucas talks about the parishes being destroyed. If his father was in the navy they could have going to help after the hurricane and I believe his father is a navy chaplain. Plus his surname is friar which means priest. Why would war, faith and rules coming up when talking about Lucas. The bad think he did must be that he broke one of the 10 commandments. I’m think it has something to do with his temper, protecting his friends and motorcycle. As the motor bike is also referenced a lot.

With the few clues we have about Lucas this would be my best guess about his home life. A few other facts that lead me to this is the fact he talks about his pappy joe as a role model/ father figure. If his dad was in the military he might not be around much. He likes adventure as long as it doesn’t break the rules. His protective nature his need to be a western hero. Hero been important, if his dad was in military Lucas might look up to him as a hero. Lucas doesn’t like to be seen as weak or have failed. Eg. judy the sheep not protecting his friends front the whole/seniors. Pappy joe wouldn’t have been proud of him if he didn’t ride the bull. He felt he needed to prove himself, to be manly. You see this when Charlie talks about watching sense and sensibility and as well as zay talks about the notebook. Not a guy movie. He also calls zay out on being a ballet dance.
