Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger Photo Book: ~King of Kings~

Gira Husty Profile: King of Shugoddam, the most powerful country where the guardian god resides. Learning of king Racules Husty's goal of "prioritizing the unity of Chikyu, even at the expense of the people," he rebels against the world by playing the role of an "evil king" in order to protect everyone. His partner is God Kuwagata, and he arms himself with the KuwagataOhger armor.

Yanma Gast Profile: King of N'kosopa, country of technology. Born in a slum, he rose to the position of king with just his computer. He's a skilled engineer, and all of the equipment for the Royal Sentai was developed by Yanma. He's an ambitious man with a desire to improve, with many people looking up to and calling him "President" due to his yankii spirit.

Hymeno Ran Profile: Queen of Ishabana, country of fine art and medicine. While beautiful in appearance, she has an extremely selfish personality, and values "beauty" above all else. On the other hand, she has no hesitation in saving someone's life, and has the face of a doctor who brilliantly saves lives. She maintains a "selfish style" in battle, not caring about her surroundings, and fights using the King's Weapon: Scythe Mode.

Rita Kaniska Profile: King of Gokkan, country of ice and snow, they're the Chief International Judge who believes that neutrality is justice. They're always reserved and cautious, and don't show emotion, so they're often seen as a stubborn person……but, they actually have a compassionate side……? At the climax of the battle, they face the enemy with a cool style of "remaining immovable," unaffected by anything.

Kaguragi Dybowski Profile: Lord of Toufu, an agricultural country. He's always smiling and has a gentle and friendly personality. However, the truth is he's willing to use dirty tricks to protect his country, and has exceptional negotiating techniques to get things done to work to his advantage. He's concerned about his younger sister Suzume, who married Shugoddam's Racules.

Jeramie Brasieri Profile: Born to a father who was the sixth hero that saved mankind 2,000 years ago and a mother who was a Bugnarak, he has passed down the history of Chikyu for a long time as the "storyteller." His right arm is that of a Bugnarak, and he has a special ability to create strong webs from inside his body. His existence stirs up both the kings and Bugnarak, using words and actions that are difficult to read.

Racules Husty Profile: As king of Shugoddam, he united the five kingdoms with his unparalleled and overwhelming charisma, but was defeated in trial by combat with his brother Gira, and was dethroned as king. While Gira and the others were away from Chikyu, he became the king of Shugoddam and ruled the country as Shugo Mask……

Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger: Costume Guide The gorgeous costumes of the kings, which are reminiscent of the characteristics of each country. A guide to the current costumes and accessories worn by the characters since the beginning of the story.

Gira Husty (Top) Costume of Gira, who replaced Racules as king of Shugoddam. The cape remains the same, but the costume and boots underneath have changed!

(Middle) His recognizable oversized shirt and the bright red harness that highlight it. Red and black straps cross over the wide collar.

(Bottom) The brown boots were worn by Gira as he escaped during the beginning of the story. The necklace is designed with five pieces of red glass.

Yanma Gast (Top Right) Costume from the start of the new chapter two years later. The jacket has a design with a black belt hanging down. The cuffs have a zipper that can be opened and closed.

(Top Left) The wide pants are designed to be divided into upper and lower parts above the knee. The inner one has two lines on the front part. The color blue is used strikingly throughout.

(Middle) The cuff earring has ridges that grow alongside the ear, two chains, and N'kosopa's "King's Proof." The headphones have a cord connected to a switch.

(Bottom) Items that Yanma wears on his arms. The design of the shoes are silver with blue accents. They also have decorations that resemble headphones.

Kaguragi Dybowski (Top) A luxurious and gorgeous costume that just screams, "I'm the lord of Toufu!" The sleeves of the haori have a distinct pattern on both the front and back. The beehive like patterns are also a key point.

(Bottom) The footwear seen under his kimono are boots. Furthermore, the soles are shaped to be like geta.

Hymeno Ran (Top) From the new chapter, the shape of the sleeves and skirt have changed, and the large ribbon on the back is also one of its main features. The asymmetrical skirt produces cuteness and elegance. The tiara contains the "King's Proof."

(Middle Top) The previous costume was made up of a top, skirt, and corset. The skirt has volume, with the front being short and the back being long. The corset is laced up at the back.

(Middle Bottom) The sequin encrusted tights are the same design throughout the entire story. Also, the glittering shoes made entirely of gold are one of Hymeno's signature items.

(Bottom) Hymeno's Favorite Accessories: Hymeno has a large number of accessories, including earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, which among them she'll use at random. This is the commitment to beauty!

Rita Kaniska (Top Right) From the new chapter, Rita's clothes changed to a shorter length jacket. The metallic purple collar accentuates the black base color of the outfit.

(Top Left) The previous costume was a tailcoat type of long jacket. The black cloth is decorated with snowflake like patterns. The design of the purple collar and cuffs are the same as the costume for the new chapter.

(Bottom Left) The black gloves are one of the most distinctive features of Rita's costume. The bracelet decorated in the center has Gokkan's "King's Proof." There's a similar emblem on the cuff earring.

(Bottom Right) Rita is characterized by their all black outfit. Their knee length long boots are of course, also all black.

Jeramie Brasieri From the new chapter, an elegant cape has been added to Jeramie's costume. In the previous costume, his right arm had a longer sleeve. The top is asymmetrical with the left side being longer.

Gira/Kuwagata Ohger (Ohsama Sentai: King Ohger) vs. Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Gira/Kuwagata Ohger

- He keeps talking about how he’s an evil king who will rule the world but it’s actually a front because the real Gira is actually a really dorky and super sweet boy who’s super nice and friends with almost every kid in all of the kingdoms so the whole evil king thing is just a front because the king of the kingdom he lives in is a jackass who neglects his people and calls it justice, so Gira takes on the mask of an evil king who will fight against the actual king’s “justice” and it’s really good and I really like him! Also he keeps getting kidnapped and tied up because he’s an enemy of the state and also calls a place Shit Noodles by accident, I love him.

Edward Elric

- This boy had his two of limbs taken away personally by God and he decided that he’s agnostic. Also he was willing to fistfight God, which tracks for a 15 year old. Also he has cool robot prosthetics to replace the arm and leg he lost - such dedication to the aesthetic that he makes sure he has his signature red coat before the final fight - Fullmetal Alchemist

Gira (Kuwagata Ohger)

The self-proclaimed king of Shugoddam, the strongest country where a guardian deity resides. He grew up in an orphanage in a castle town, has a pure and kind personality, and is liked by all children. He had a misleading tone because he always played the villain in hero games with children. He learned of King Racules Hastie's purpose of "prioritizing the unification of Chikyu even at the cost of the people", and in order to protect everyone, he himself acted as the "evil king = villain" and rebelled against the world.

"I will rule the world!"

Transform into a Kuwagata Ohger armed with king armor and fight with god stag beetle! Challenge the battle with "villain style" and slash the enemy with a large sword technique that makes full use of King's Weapon Naginata Mode!

Can we talk about it how Gira's story in King Ohger made a full circle?

In first episode, he was mad at Racules that he remained in the castle rather than fight to protect the people and he was mad that Racules called people the tools

In this episode (23) Gira sat in the castle rather than protect the people and called people the gears

The main difference is that unlike Racules, Gira was able to move God Kuwagata and has support of other kings

I guess that soon we'll get official confirmation that "Racules was right all along" and "wasn't actually evil"

The parallels are incredible

Since arc/chapter 2 is starting this week, I'm just going to compile the list of unanswered questions from part 1 + possible theories:

Kuwagon's Soul (Hinted / Most likely eaten by Gira when before he was thrown into the orphanage)

Why was Gira thrown into the orphanage

How did Racules change so much from before Gira left to now? (I would assume its due to Kamejim and/or Fury of the Gods)

Who and Where is the culprit of the Fury of the Gods + Karras

Fury of the Gods for Shugoddam (and to some extent, Gokkan because we only saw how they stopped it, not whether anything actually happened in there)

What is Rita's eye meant to be?

due to burning out from trying to draw Noelle Genshin Impact i decided to try and visualize some Sentai concepts ive had in my head

first off, King Kyoryu Red but his helmet is based off of Kuwagon instead. the regular Kyoryu Red helmet is wide enough to accommodate for it and would give it its own flair. plus i edited the chest logo because i felt it was too plain

next up are some anniversary BoonBoom Cars with BoonBoom Kuwagata and BoonBoom Speedor. id imagine if we had crossover exclusive power ups these'd be perfect, heck they both use BoonBoom Racing as a base so it can be a two in one thing

BoonBoom Speedor's beak is something let me tell you. if the idea comes to me maybe ill making a Legend BoonBoom Car idea for Toqger too?

since baby gira seems kinda stiff in the flashback where racules hugs him i do wonder if he was kind of an empty vessel type thing to begin with and it was feeding him god kuwagatas soul that made him like. alive if you get me. this on the assumption that rainbow juliar theory is real. though i guess he already seems kind of alive in the flashback but you know how these things can be misleading sometimes. idk im throwing spaghetti im just excited to finally find out what his deal is

Unmedicated ADHD Theories: Gira Isn't People Edition

Basically what it says in the title: Gira isn't people.

What is Gira? A combination of human, Shugod, and Bugnarak.

We know he's at least a little human because A) look at him and B) he has enough human DNA to be related to Racules in a DNA test. We saw in the crossover episode that he has Kuwagata's soul inside of him (hence why he can henshin when separated from Kuwagata and why he talks to all the gods). And we know the soul isn't in Kuwagata so the only other logical conclusion is that it's in Gira.

As for being part Bugnarak (besides some interesting shots of the next episode) Gira is very durable. He routinely survives things he shouldn't be. Like falling off a cliff or being electrocuted. (Remember that when we were introduced to the lie-detector--helmet Shiokara needed to be revived with CPR while Gira walked it off). He's surprisingly hard to kill, kind of like the Bugnarak. The Bugnarak routinely survived things we wouldn't expect them to and Jeramie is 2,000 years old. They're a very durable species..kind of like Gira.

But why? (This is where things get fun.)

Gira was created by King Corsus to be used as a weapon against the Bugnarak. Potentially with the help of Double D since the previous kings of Shugoddam have worked with him and it would explain "I'll show them who you really are." And, maybe, just maybe, with the other previous kings. Here's a short list of what Corsus would need to make this happen: advanced tech, an intricate knowledge of genetics, Bugnarak DNA. And potentially just the agreement of the other kings. All things the other kings of Chikyuu could help him in obtaining.

Further evidence: Gira went missing 15 years ago. But no one in Shugoddam knew. Racules says they "kept it a secret" but what if they didn't tell anyone because they didn't need to? Gira should've been easily recognizable by people as the prince, but he lived among them for years without people knowing. Himeno, who was born into royalty, definitely should've known Racules has a younger brother named Gira who went missing 15 years ago. But we've seen no evidence of that. The only records Rita found in Shugoddam that could coroberate Gira's story was the kitchen records about Rainbow juria. No mention of birth records.

And if Gira had gone missing and they'd truly "looked everywhere for him" as Racules claimed, then Himeno, Rita, and Kaguragi would've already known Racules had a missing younger brother named Gira. But they didn't know.

Almost like Gira was a secret Corsus was keeping from everyone outside a select few in the castle. As if he didn't want people to even know about Gira's existence.

Here's what I think happened: Corsus created Gira to be used as a weapon against the Bugnarak (and maybe even Double D) believing that being a combination of Chikyuu's three species would make him powerful and durable. Corsus had Gira, secretly, raised as the second prince and Racules brother so Gira would feel intensely loyal to Shugoddam and Racules. So if anything happened to Corsus, Gira would still do as Racules said. Racules was eventual told the truth about Gira (probably in the flashback where we see Boshimar coming to get him because Corus wanted to speak with him). Potentially, Corsus was hoping the fate of Shugoddam and humanity hanging on this would override Racules' feelings for Gira.

(Or he hoped Racules would stop having fondness for Gira after learning Gira wasn't really a person.)

But this is where his plan backfired. Young Racules loved his brother and couldn't accept what his father had planned for Gira. So, he overthrew his father and disappeared Gira for his own safety. He threw all his effort into unlocking the OhgerCaliburZero, and gaining some control over the other kings, hoping that would be enough to stop the Bugnarak and appease Double D. And it all goes according to plan right up until the moment Gira came back.

TLDR: Gira is a "Frankenstein's monster" that Corsus created to use against the Bugnarak (maybe even with the help of Chikyuu's other previous kings). When Racules learned the truth, he overthrew his father and disappeared Gira.
