Red Robin (Tim) time travels to the past for a mission and ends up as a 10 year old kid - no matter what, he can’t make any major changes to the timeline, or get caught... In Scooby Doo style shenanigans, Robin (Jason) and Beast Boy (Garfield) end up breaking into his house, which they think is haunted.

Drawing is a lot like cooking.

You have a recipe, a reference, and in the beginning you stick to it. You don’t know much else, might still be learning the basics, so you don’t veer too off road with your ingredients. You need a list, instructions, some mustered up drive and a little luck.

As you learn you find you know some things by heart and only need to look up one or three things, and then you might not even need to do that. You start making your own recipes! Only needing to look things up once in a blue moon, and sometimes you’ll crash and burn, forget to add some vital ingredient, mistake salt for sugar, but that’s fine. You’re still learning.

Point is: use the tools available to you. Use a reference. Trace a photo to learn a pose quicker. Do not trace art, unless it’s only as a learning exercise and you know you won’t post it. Make twenty shoddy sketches in five minutes. Every doodle, every line, every godawful scribble you regret making right now will add up to better art down the line.

Practice anatomy, backgrounds, colour theory. I swear on my life, you will improve. You absolutely will. Draw for fun. Draw because you can, and you want to, and because why not? One day you’re going to be great.

One day you’ll look back and realize you already are.
