Wait golden kamyu has a female lead? I've literally only seen pictures and clips of naked men from any post about that anime

Asirpa! She's the deuteragonist of Golden Kamuy alongside Sugimoto and she's really great. I love the dynamic between the two a ton... also I find her to be a really well rounded female character who manages to be silly, serious, naive, and mature all together.

GK has some really good female characters though they are rather out ratiod by the men. Still read GK it's one of my fave mangas ever out there

So I finally get around to the ending of Golden Kamyu. Spoilers-

So my favorite character kills himself; Sugimoto story ends at sub 0 because he did all that shit for absolutely no reason, they even made the found family feel kinda tainted cause Aspira crush is never rebuffed (nor addressed which in a way is better. Cause then it's left in the air if the ending even is meant to be shippy which the weirdos will love and I can willingly deny it by saying there no proof but fucking whatever-)

Shirashi fucks off and fulfills his one friend's dream of becoming king. Good for him.

Fuck the Anui people getting their gold I guess. I'm assuming it all down hill from here cause actual history tells us so.

The military boys kotio and tsukshima are in some funky wonky codepened relationship. Nothing happens to them i-

MY FAVORITE CHARACTER SHOT HIMSELF! Haaaaa the ending is mid at best, the adventure was fun had a lot of good pondering point. And then hand waved them away at the end. All those "problems" "essential crisis" just [waves hand] gone.
