I'm sure now realizing about my precious, some of you would notice that he's kind of like Necrozma from Pokémon. But at least in my eyes, his look is like a crossover between that and Garchomp. One of those two Pokémon is known as the Mach Pokémon, while the other is known as the prism Pokémon. And AKA, the blinding one. One is a dragon that is a wyvern and based on a hammerhead shark with a jet inspired look, and the other is a crystalline star dragon with four wings. And yes, he's pretty much a world destroyer. No one beats him. And no, you don't need to bow down to him like some sort of god-like thing. In the Pokémon world, he is these five types all merged in at once... Ghost, steel, psychic, dragon, and rock. He gets these five typing for an obvious reason. Ghost makes sense because of his undead appearance. Steel makes sense cuz his name is basically the name after a metal, or at least the hunting of a metal. Psychic is because he gets his powers on light, Dragon is based on his animal species, and rock is based on his other half of his elemental fusion. And despite his spectral undead appearance, he is extremely kind and is very friendly to people, but if is provoked enough, he has enough power to literally shatter universes just by roaring. So, you better not make this dragon mad. And one of his secret powers is this: any one evil that he sees, he sucks their life out with his light, draining their soul and power alone, and then converting it into his own core, storing it in for extra energy and power of his own, which basically means he consumes villain powers, converts their powers from their original way into his own energy, but never uses the powers of the ones he has recently destroyed by draining their life. This is also another reason of why he earns the ghost typing in Pokémon. And even though he dissolves the souls of villains and shatters universes, he is actually the kindest out of the dragon bunch of 5 in total (Venom in second), despite his scary look.

Jack: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Jack’s really interested in the whole exploring aspect of the game, and he can appreciate the artistic graphics. Oh, and the way the food jumps around in the pot makes him laugh.

Davey: Pokémon Black and White. I feel like Davey would enjoy the strategic elements of Pokémon games; battling and such, as well as the wholesome, nostalgic feel of them. As for why I chose Black and White specifically, it takes place in a region based off New York!

Katherine: Civilizations. We know Kath is pretty nerdy, so a historical strategy game seems like something she’d enjoy. I think she and Davey might actually play it together.

Race: The Sims 4. Race is kind of a maniac when it comes to The Sims. He likes the power it gives him. Aka, he likes to put his sims in weird clothing and make them kill each other. He’s made little Sim replicas of his friends and family.

Spot: Minecraft. ‘Take diamond sword, walk up to pig, go slashy slash’. That’s how imma describe it. He’s surprisingly good at it actually.

Sarah: Animal Crossing: New Horizons. She seems like a chill person, and ACNH is a very chill game! She doesn’t really care which villagers she has on her island, but she really likes dog villagers, especially Goldie, Bones, and Biskit.

Crutchie: Sonic (any of them). They want to be able to run, so running as blue hedgehog is the next best thing.

Song stuck in my head: I know I'm cheating by putting two songs here but my mind just can't seem to pick one to listen to all day, so we have "Forever Stuck in Our Youth" by Set It Off & "Theater of Life" by Konomi Suzuki (the OP for Deca-Dence)

Number of followers: 479 at the moment. I never cared about the number, honestly, it just humors me knowing that this side blog passed my main in a shorter amount of time.

Dream job: I wanted to be an animator, or just do something related to art or design. That's what I went to college for anyways. I did a few internships in the past but they never went anywhere and eventually I had to go a different route just to make money. It's fine now, I guess? Stressful, sure, since I always feel like I'm learning something new and get overwhelmed, but yeah, I miss being creative like I used to be. I know it's my own fault for getting discouraged so easily and watching my skills kinda vanish over the years, but I'm slowly trying to get myself motivated again, either with graphics or writing.

Favorite song: This always changes, but as of recently, I'll say "Popular Monster" by Falling In Reverse.

Favorite instruments: I'd love to learn how to play piano. They're just so soothing and I could listen to piano covers for hours. (yes i realize the stark contrast between this and the song i just mentioned)

Favorite author: I don't think I have one? I enjoy reading, but not like.. actual books.

Favorite animal sound: Owls. Sometimes their little hoots sound like laughing and I don't know why I enjoy them so much.

Aesthetic: Black and white (or grayscale, whichever term is correct). Not in terms of reality, just art-wise. Maybe I just think color can be distracting sometimes? like other aspects are important but since we see in color all the time, it's often one of the first things we notice or use when we describe something or someone. When you take color away though, I feel like you can focus on a lot more and appreciate the little details on how a piece of media is beautiful or why it catches your attention. The dynamic shape of an object, the texture it has or how light bounces off of it. How a scene is framed, if there's any negative space, how and where your eyes move around the image or video due to any perspective or action. The expression on someone and wondering how they might be feeling during that moment in time and why, perhaps leading you to then think of your own emotions as well. (ah, i spoke about this more than i thought i would) but yeah, it can be simple but deep if one chooses to look into it and I kinda like that.

The conflict of gen 5 makes a very compelling point about how ethical the system of pokemon training is but it's so hard to take seriously bc I was a wrestler once and yeah sometimes punching stuff and getting into fights truly is just somebody's calling. who's to stop the little creatures from participating in the glory of battle if they want to

precisely. like i think these guys fail to realize how consensual this sport is. if pokémon didn’t wanna live in pokéballs they’d break out and if they didn’t wanna battle they’d refuse to listen and would simply run away. they are truly the ones who hold the power over humans ultimately and people are just incredibly fortunate that the creatures happen to like hanging out with people and beating each other up for fun

guys i literally feel like i’m having a pokémon manga/anime-esque character arc moment LOL

so the team i’ve settled on that i’ve used for almost the entire game are all mons that i’ve had since the beginning or relatively close to it. my starter from nuvema town, the gifted elemental monkey from the dreamyard, two from pinwheel forest, and two from route four/the desert resort. all met at very young baby ages. they’ve all served me so well in so many places and we’ve had so many adventures together etc etc friendship speech

however i’m beginning to understand in my heart that some of them are not going to be strong enough to face the trials ahead of me, at least not without an insanely annoying amount of grinding. especially simisear. my dear little fire monkey is very weak and hasn’t been able to help me in a while. since like victory road he’s pretty much just died immediately every time i’ve sent him out even though level-wise he’s perfectly up to speed with everyone else. he’s fairly fast and strong too! i really don’t get why he’s just been failing me nonstop

i’m at the point now where i can catch wild pokémon that are like. literally even higher level than anyone on my team. and even regardless of level some of them are just better pokémon. i can afford to swap team members out if necessary and try new things. and it would be to my great advantage to box the monkey especially. it’s going to absolutely kill me trying to win with this exact lineup of six in the future

but literally i am so attached to all these guys who have helped me so much. i remember when i first got him he completely came in clutch in the early game. it feels like to put him away and neglect our emotional bond because others are materially stronger would be a betrayal. but also i shouldn’t take it that seriously bc this is just a video game and pocket monsters are not real and it’s ok to want to win. but also i am that kind of person. things like this matter to me. if this were a real dilemma that a character in this universe were going through the conclusion they’d eventually come through after an emotional journey would be that they should try to win with their friends even if it’s rough. how dare i turn away from the lessons this franchise constantly keeps trying to teach. doesn’t the in-universe story matter to me. the classic 5 year old route one trainer who completely sucks but loves his baby bugs has more life wisdom than i
