Advanced Greenstar move: make only one of three siblings an apprentice???

meet the morningclan founding members!

webstar, the wise thread that keeps the clan knit together. but not all would be peace if it weren’t for her cool-headed second; yewheart. these two lead the clan with gentle claws, but that doesn’t mean they take any threats to their clan lightly. with their tactical genius , they are a force to be reckoned with.

though none of this would be possible without the clever and snide; sweettail. their medic is the best there could ever be, up in age but sharp in tongue- the old man keeps up with the bustling clan with seemingly half a thought. as though it was just muscle memory when it came to stitching up wounds and treating illness,,,

morningclan itself was built off of refugees from a self-destructive group previously known as; nightclan. these survivors swore together that they would rebuild, stronger and better than nightclan ever was.

lotuspelt and swallowdaze were two of these survivors, following the (at the time) webdance to the new dawn that she vowed to bring. lotuspelt, while competitive and prickly at times- was a welcomed addition with his wise and introspective outlook on the world. swallowdaze came up behind with his quiet yet thoughtful demeanor, kind and patient. webdance couldn’t be prouder of those she’d brought with her to bring up the bright and hopeful; morningclan.

young and a bit of a troublemaker himself, budwillow was fast to join as he sought to make a name for himself anywhere but that awful place he was once raised in. though easily distracted, and a bit of a goof at times- budwillow is an excellent teacher and kitsitter, and most all cats can trust budwillow to keep their kittens safe in his paws.

cobaltsnout, the youngest of the joining warriors, hesitantly followed in webdance’s steps when she joined the clan. despite her renown for her fighting ability, cobaltsnout has never quite felt comfortable in her own skin. she fears her own strength, and often patrols alone to ensure she doesn’t invite a confrontation,,, for everyone’s safety.

goldpaw and moonpaw are the inseparable siblings of morningclan. born to a kittypet from outside the clans, then brought in by their father; duskshade. it was an odd time when they’d found themselves following the runners from nightclan, especially since they’d almost been warriors yet.

though stuck to together in heart, these two couldn’t be more different. goldpaw a quiet observer, while moonpaw the bright and snarky. they may seem odd as a duo, but they work together better than moss on a log!

and last but not least- fogpaw! the youngest of the clan, but also the most eager. fogpaw is the nephew of yewheart. brought along by their uncle in hopes of a safer future, this poor kit barely could comprehend when they were whisked away to this new place. but regardless, their fiery spirit will win them the day! oh, and morningclan! haha,,

Okay so uhhhh... it's been a little while.

Maybe more than a little while.

But I wanted to come in and give an overdue status update on a sticky note.

Had a fair amount of chaos in my life over the last year, some of which I briefly touched on in my last post, but there've been a handful of other big issues consuming the better part of my free time.

Some really serious and big friend issues that zapped a lot of motivation over the last several months, some illness related hiccups, and some family tragedies are the biggest factors at play here, some of which are thankfully over and better now but I also more recently got a new laptop. I have the last teased page still almost completed on my old one, so, it's more a matter of transferring over that old data to my new computer so I can finish it and start on the new ones.

I also now need to figure out the issue with the new computer and transferring over my old clangen file, but that's actually something that's not as pressing as I have up until moon 38 written down in a document! So that's an issue for later lol

I just wanted to explain and also apologize for my absence, I'd like to be back sooner than later now that I feel like myself again. I'm writing this from work, so it's a bit fast and loose, but I wanted to touch base while I had the time :,)

So, if you'd all still like to see where things go, I'm more than happy to continue working at this again and figuring out new solutions... Thank you!! :D

A new warrior

Bramblepaw is now a warrior names Bramblestripe

Spottedleaf no longer has green cough

As dustpelt watched as Mothwing bramblestripe and goldpaw go out, he feels like there is something wrong that is going to happen very soon.

Fig is now nonbinary and Mistlepaw will not go on patrols this moon

Mothwing took all the apprentices out for training to let their mentors have a morning off.

When they got there they did battle training and when they are taking a break Mothwing tells the apprentices about the dark forest and how they are more powerful then Starclan and they can protect their clan better if they joined

Goldpaw was already a part of the Dark forest but the other two was a bit unsure and Butterflyice told them they can join for one lesson and then decide and they both agree.

Spotspring was carrying the juiciest squirrel back when he saw across the border Poisondapple in the dark forest along with others. He ran as fast as he could and bumped into Auburnsmoke along the way.

After explaining what he had seen Auburnsmoke went and tried to walk in Brightstar dreams but found her way to Yellowfang and warned her of a battle to come where kin will turn against kin and if not careful blood will rule the forest.

barely caught my fucking breath before moonpaw and goldpaw became warriors. i guess i wasn’t really looking at their ages beforehand haha.

moonpaws nonexistent sister that I completely made up is my favorite warrior cats character and here is why

Goldpaw and her other litter mates have been second to moonpaw their whole lives. Constantly neglected and ignored in favor of “starclans chosen”. Her brother soon saw that thunderclan seemed to favor moonpaw, and became convinced that if his other siblings were going to get anywhere in life, they had to stick together, them against the entire clan to prove themselves.

He convinces his siblings the same. And now goldpaw struggles. She always wanted to be a medicine cat. Her brother is leader, and moonpaw is the enemy, thunderclan is the enemy. They turned their backs on the siblings.

Goldpaw doesn’t fully agree with these opinions. She wants to get to know her sister better, she wants to make friends in thunderclan.

But they are the enemy, and her brother is strict and unforgiving. One wrong word, one wrong action and she’ll be kicked to the curb. Chances of being med cat gone, lost to obscurity, dying alone.

so she must stick with her litter mates. Prove herself to thunderclan. Fight twice as hard before moonpaw gets position of med cat apprentice for absolutely no reason.

if this is all gibberish just listen to ‘lifeboat’ from heathers you’ll get the picture

Moons 3 and 4 with Wolfclan. Congrats to Goldjay and Buzzardtree for being promoted to warriors, and Cloudpaw for starting her training. Hope things continue to go well for them.

Also, Stormstar is the only one currently with any romantic attachment to anyone, and it just so happens to be her Deputy, who isn't into her. Hopefully she won't be too broken up about it....

Allegiances Part 3 —— The Apprentices

Sunpaw || 10 moons || Strict (Mentor: Hazelroach)

Sunpaw considers himself disciplined, his sister prefers the word uptight. Even without knowing his mother, he picked up on the grief of those around him and seemed to internalize it. He is accustomed to harsh expectations, and harsh realities. He was apprenticed to Hazelroach in an attempt to curve both of their personalities towards equilibrium, and the two get along surprisingly well.

Goldpaw reminds the clan of her mother, bright and big to the point of foolishness. While her brother internalized the grief of their mother’s death, Goldpaw took it upon herself to fill the space she once took and live up to her memory. This caused a rift between her and her father, who had trouble separating his anger over his mate’s death with his complicated feelings for the new kits he had to raise. Lightstar apprenticed Goldpaw to her father in an effort to heal their bond, but while Goldpaw works hard to earn her father’s approval, he always seems to expect more than she can give.
