I know everyone thinks callie is this giant hypocrite for being upset about mariana playing amateur detective and getting herself into dangerous situations, but of course I don't.

Obviously callie has done this before. So she understands the danger! She's older now and capable of seeing that they could have died and they could have gotten other people killed too because of her actions. Callie grew up! Callie figured it out. And besides this, that is her SISTER in danger, so of course she's extra protective.

I got super emotional about Callie and Jamie's engagement, and now I'm rewatching The Fosters (and probably Good Trouble).

I mean, Good Trouble is STILL one of my favorite shows on TV, and it’s not ONLY because any scene with Stef and Lena is like a balm for my soul. Callie’s hesitance to take the next step with Jamie is indicative of her journey over the last decade. I’m glad this episode speaks to that.

Also, it’s PERFECT that Callie tells Mariana first. I love that Jamie doesn’t question Callie needing Mariana before they announce their engagement — he GETS it. That sisterhood is a bond like no other! Mariana will be the BEST maid of honor when the time comes.

more than one thing can be true: isabella can struggle with mental illness AND need to work on honesty/communication/boundaries AND not deserve to be blackmailed and abused by her parents
