I hate when I start having ideas when I’m meant to sleep. I dozed off and dreamt about Zayne being Sylus’ royal physician.

After calmly taking His Majesty’s vitals following a night in the forest (hint hint), Zayne coolly tells the king to avoid anything or being around anyone that may trigger his instincts for the time being.

On cue, you enter the king’s quarters, switching off shifts with the guard by his door. Zayne’s gaze flicks between the entrance and His Majesty in warning, to which Sylus smirks, saying, “I’ll be good, doctor. Promise.”

Zayne, of course, is unconvinced. But that doesn’t stop him from gathering his things with a tired sigh, moving past you with a wary look.

You cautiously move to the king’s bedside to greet him, only to be suddenly snatched into the circle of his arms onto his bed where Sylus tangles your legs together, burying his nose into the hollow of your shoulder to inhale your potent scent.

“Y-Your Majesty!” you stammer, mortified, “weren’t you just told to avoid doing anything strenuous?”

He nuzzles further into your skin, getting a good whiff of your hair, sighing like a content feline. “Yes. I’m instead doing something that calms me down. Now hold still while I get a fill of my sedative.”

You give up fighting after it becomes clear he has no intention of letting you go, his arm a possessive pressure around your middle, fastening you to him. You can’t help the fond little upward tick of your mouth.

“At least let me take off my boots, sir.”

Sylus in Goodcat Code’s kindled always has me giggling, the way he’s so willing to play along with MC until he realizes she’s SERIOUS about the whole Snowy Owl business. Mans was STRESSING over having to entertain a woman who isn’t MC, even for the sake of a mission. “My lady, are you really doing this so another woman can have me?” LIKE??? And the way he has to MAKE SURE he has her full attention as he addresses his feelings. Holding her chin so her eyes are on him, holding the small of her back to keep her in his grasp while saying “…Do you actually not care if I become someone else’s cat?” OHHHH MY GOD????!??? And the way he sounds so pouty about it too.

I cannot tell you how insane he makes me, you know damn well he wasn’t pretending that MC was Snowy Owl during their rehearsal. Even though they were roleplaying, he was desperately instilling this idea that he’s all hers and that he’s so willing to service her.. I’m sick, he sickens me. He’s so pathetic, he’s such a dork, a stupid loverboy. Oh my god!!! I need to chew on him!!

Anyway I’m probably going to write some X reader NSFW about this, a little after-the-fact where he’s not done playing as your caracal butler. He just wants to service you so bad and make you feel so good!!
