Do you think WW3 is gonna happen? People say it's going to happen while others are saying it's not. I don't know what to believe; all I'm saying is if it happens, just know that you are one of my favorite Sonic artist.😭❤️

I normally don't reply to messages about these kinds of topics. I try to keep my blog relatively light because not only is it a means of escape for a lot of you, it's a means of escape for me as well. But when I read this message, it broke my heart and I felt the need to respond.

Honestly, I'm scared too. It's impossible to know what will come next, and that lack of certainty can lead to a lot of different emotions. If you're feeling scared, anxious, numb, angry--all of those feelings are completely valid and you're not alone in feeling them.

That being said, I am consciously making the choice to not be paralyzed by fear. I am going to keep doing what I do every day-- living my life to the best of my ability and doing my best to make the world better through empathy and compassion. For as long as I'm capable, I'm going to keep making art because I love doing it and it makes me happy, and in doing so I hope it makes others happy too. If I can make even just one person feel better because of my art, then I count that a success.

That was very kind of you to reach out to me and let me know that you like my art, even when I'm sure you've got a million other things on your mind. It means a lot, and even though I don't know you, you matter to me. Please don't forget that.

I think it'd be fun if she was some kind of siren, especially since some depictions of sirens are more bird-like and others are more mermaid-like. Aurora loves to sing, loves to swim, and has "wings" (back quills), so I think it works 😁

I'm always so happy for Sonic's bday! But to be honest, I don't think I'll have anything new for it this year (lot of stuff going on in my personal life). I am hoping to make an announcement with a couple of drawings in time for his bday, but it's not related to his birthday :)
