- Rena Cousland only wanted power !! She could not understand people who refused it whenever it is offered to them. Why tf would you turn power away when it is already presented to you in a silver platter???

- So when she found out Alistair was a potential heir to the throne but he wasn’t keen on taking it she was like my brother in Andraste why

- When the goofy goofsters arrived in Redcliffe, Rena had some flashbacks in the village and in the castle lol. She visited there once or twice with her family in the past for some gathering. I HEADCANON THAT SHE AND ALISTAIR ALREADY MET AT SOME POINT DURING THEIR CHILDHOOD THERE but it was just passing glances?? Alistair peeking through a window while Rena sits inside, looking bored as hell. Nothing substantial 👀

- Rena is cold af,,very selfish,,,but damn ,,when death and suffering confronts you to that degree,,,,,,,,,,,,sometimes a girl changes u know,,,her words become less cruel,,and her gaze softens,,,it always shocks the group when they see her sharing some of her food with the refugees they pass by

- I’m really thinking there’s gonna be a huge character development for Rena that really changes her …i laughed out loud when I got the achievement BULLY 😭😭😭 aint no way my grey warden is gonna stay THAT cruel

- the sunset they saw after the fall of ostagar really made Rena think about things. Sunsets in the past never really mattered to her!! But after cheating death for the second time and seeing the sunset’s rays peek through the trees of the korcari wilds ….maker

“You seem lost in thought,” Alistair tells her in a quiet, somber tone. The trio were walking through the wilds, making their way towards Lothering. Rena’s eyes were focused on the horizon. The sunset was basking her in its fading rays, her blonde hair seemingly glowing in its waning warmth.

“Yes…,” she starts, unsure what to say, “it’s just that…the sunset feels different today…”
