"Why?" Gorr asks, holding you close to him; your eyes were hazy, consciousness quickly fading as he cried into your hair. "Why did you have to be a god?"

You weakly chuckle, head lolling as the last remnants of life seep from your body.

Living with Gorr on Earth HCs

(AU where he lives because no one can stop me) i found this today in my note app. i actually wrote it some time ago and then completely forgot about it

I actually don't see him as a big city kind of person. He would prefer to live with his s/o and his daughter in the countryside, in a house with a garden. (Am I into cottagecore? Yes. But I am not projecting it into him, Gorr loves this lifestyle too, I can sense it with my cottagewhore-radar). You grow many vegetable, grain and fruit species from different planets (at the beginning you were unsure if this experiment would work but surprisingly most of the crops grew well on the Earth) so your farm is mostly self-sufficient, at least when it comes to food.

Another headcanon, not connected with relationship, but I am convinced that Gorr is a vegan or at least a vegetarian. He may slashed gods, but he would never hurt an innocent animal.

You came to terms with Thor and the rest of the group and you live in - almost - friendly relationship. But you rather don't have contact with gods and don't deal with them anymore. Gorr gave up on his plans of revenge; you had possibility of helping Avengers and fighting for good but without longer hesitation, you decided to leave this "warrior lifestyle" (but nobody knows whether forever or is it just a holiday) and enjoy living in peace for some time.

Gorr isn't from Earth so it may take him some time to get used to on this planet (it wasn't specified in the movie how looked planet he came from so I will just assume it was technologically advanced at the level of Asgard, just much-much-much poorer).

He appreciates some of the inventions that make life easier (washing machine, cars, tap water), he especially loves the fact that medicine is so well-advanced but most things are either overwhelming or annoying for him.

Despite the fact that he isn't interested in popculture himself, Gorr likes to watch your favourite movies or read your beloved books (it's even better if you read it to him).

Gorr is a very good and careful listener, he authentically pays attention to what you're talking to him and he tries to remember details about you. In general, he likes to talk with you, you spend a lot of time on conversation since the day you met. If you hate small talk (just like me😅), you finally found great company. Gorr doesn't understand aimless blabber neither and he likes to tell you about his life (you appreciate the fact that he trust you enough to share with you stories about his family and home; these are very cherished but at the same time painful memories for him), his home planet, but also about faith, ethics and the point of life.

One of the things he really enjoys on Earth, is a great diversity of music. He loves listening to different genres and discovering new artists. If you have nothing against it, he often takes your hand and dance with you in the kitchen or in the garden.

Despite trying to live in peace, Gorr would quickly engage in some form of activism. He's very sensitive to any signs of injustice and he's not gonna just sit back and do nothing when so many bad thing happens. He will do whatever he can… and honestly, you love him for that.
