But let me tell you, I was watching s2e5 with my parents and Loki goes "we can rewrite the story" and the episode ended and I closed the browser window to reveal my desktop background

I feel like we don’t talk about this scene enough. It’s the implication that Mobius knows every terrible thing Loki has ever done and has still never seen him as a villain because of it. It’s Loki intimidating Brad by saying that Mobius—the person who understands him best—would agree that Loki is capable of getting what he needs from Brad. It’s Loki admitting that Mobius is the one who knows him better than anyone else ever has. It’s the casual intimacy of the statement, just 3 ostensibly unimportant words thrown on at the end of a sentence that ultimately reveals how familiar and close they really are to each another.

i just think it is sooo interesting that the scene where loki is standing in between mobius and sylvie and then he goes after sylvie is clearly trying to make us think he chose her, but then we get to the actual conversation they have and it is so obvious that he chose mobius.

like idk i just think that scene was so purposeful…

I keep thinking about Mobius noticing Loki acting different. About how he was the ONLY one who noticed, and he wasn't calm and collected about it. He grabbed hold of Loki's suit and didn't let go, because touch is how they communicate seriousness. He said what the SHIT are you doing Loki? What the shit are you going to do? This is *not* how you normally act and you're scaring me.
