In some of the prompts that I read. Danny gets summoned in his true form, wether it being the Ghost king or something else.
BUT here’s the thing, Danny is considered to be a BABY ghost.
So if someone were to summon him, they would get this random ass ghost baby who doesn’t know any better and can’t do anything you want UNTIL 5 DAYS pass before he’s back to normal.
And if said ghost baby decides that he doesn’t like your VIBES leaves and if he does he becomes your problem.
So imagine that you’re John Constantine and you hear about this new Ghost King and wanting to assess if he’s going to be a problem/make a new connection.
John: this seems like a good cause *summons Danny*
Danny, as a baby with a crown on his head, sitting in the middle of the circle and looks at John and smiles: “Ah”
*an hour later*
John, looking worse then before with Danny in a sling around his body who had finally decided to sleep, decides to summon Fright Knight to see what the heck is going on: *chanting words as loudly and as quietly as he can*
Fright Knight, who has been teaching Ellie how to knight, feels the summoning and goes: this will be a great learning experience for you
Ellie, who decided to take a break from traveling and become a knight in training, goes: yeah okay
But here’s the thing, the same thing that happened to Danny happens to Ellie. And the only warning John got from Ellie was “eh” before she starts screaming her head off.
An hour later Deadman finds Constantine with two screaming babies in his arms and a freaking THERMOS in the middle of a summoning circle with two sticky notes and one of them is glowing.
Normal one: NO
Glowing one: “Open at your own risk” - clockwork

"It'd be super interesting to hear these counterarguments 👀."
@goopi-e Well let's see… where should I start? The mass assumption that Ganondorf just sort of left his kingdom for dead and stayed holed up in Hyrule Castle for seven entire years, (lolwut???) no longer caring about his fellow gerudos or even letting them know what the hell was going on?
Or something else? Maybe something a little dicier? Like the existence of gibdos? Or the fact he didn't save Nabooru after his moms decided her punishment? ... That last one might be a little self explanatory, though, if you understand his mindset.
Ganondorf is a man with a very strong sense of justice and a very skewed sense of morality. I think it's actually because he cared that he'd ever punish or let his people be punished like she was. Twinrova were his mothers too, so, it's likely he trusted their judgement more than anyone else's. A lower ranking pair of gerudo might not have gotten away with dealing justice in his name like that.
But I digress. I know I have to be missing something. I'm just very tired today and have a lot on my mind. Do feel free to let me know, though, if any of that interests you or if there's another thing I forgot to address that you want me to go into.

She wants to play on the stage with the big dogs, then she'll get burned like one.
Really, she's just a mosquito, that needs to survive off of others. And Sun Fang squashes bugs.

Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me
Dear gawd, this poor child.
I’m referring to Shirakawa Runa, the love interest and girlfriend of protagonist Kashima Ryūto. And he is NOT the reason I lament. Kashima is your basic unpopular nerdy shoujo protag who has refreshingly mixed feelings about sex (both doesn’t want to just jump into bed because emotions and respect and “when you actually WANT to, not because you think you have to”, and absolutely kicking himself for not jumping into bed because horny teenager).
Shirakawa is a gyaru with a Reputation. Not entirely unearned, as she’s developed the expectation that she has to put out for guys not to cheat on her. Then they get bored and dump her. Though the rumor is of course the exact opposite. She is such a sweet and earnest little thing, bright and bubbly as an entire shelf of Fanta.
This is one show that has me wanting to adopt the love interest as my little sister because this girl needs some role models, and has Mr. Glee shaking his head at the protagonist being deemed The Best Boyfriend for stepping over the ground-level standards (I’ve been telling him for YEARS that it’s not just me!!).
And again, Kashima is a good guy, and clearly the ONLY decent person Shirakawa’s dated so far. He’s eager to do right by her, though clueless on how to go about it (he studied for their first date; This boy is a living example of Wanting a Good Grade in Boyfriend). His major flaw is how he makes assumptions like that Shirakawa won’t want to be seen with him (gyaru DGAF), or myopic about not wanting people to tease her about dating a “loser”, not factoring in that people already openly gossip about her being a slut and a greedy user. Though the secrecy seems to have gone out the window by the end of ep 3, thank goodness.
I love a romance where both sides recognize a good thing when they have it (see also My Love Story and My Dress-up Darling).
Anyway, I am enjoying this anime so far. And like seeing a female protagonist who is an established non-virgin but not demonized by the narrative for it. It’s handled in such a matter-of-fact way that highlights just how poorly she’s been treated in the past, and how UNAWARE she is that she’s been poorly treated. Also true for far too many women, young and old, East and West.
So…yeah.
*awkwardly climbs off soapbox*

We are all tired of reboots but if I for some reason got to pick a handful of shows to take another crack at it would definitely be like. The early 2010s teen girl shows. Gossip girl, pretty little liars, the vampire diaries. All shows I have developed a fondness for but need so much work. And I'm not saying they should be like, less problematic or anything. Actually I want the girls to be worse. I think Serena van der woodsen should have actually killed someone with a gun instead of passively being there when a guy's habits catch up to him. I think Aria should have been A and Alison should have stayed evil. Elena and Catherine should have been friends and eaten more people.
