I intend to draw a lot more ShuMika if I can honestly. They used to be my “OTP” and I was obsessed with Valkyrie for ages. I’ve really really really been missing them recently to the point of vibrating excitement. Homestuck is a no brainer though I have been a DirkJake fan since like 2019.

God, I’m thinking about that ask and it’s so ridiculous. It’s why, “no one is obligated to engage with your fan work!” is one of those things that’s technically true but just a dickhead excuse in practice, because the reality is that people want others to make an endless stream of fan art and fanfiction for them without them having to be asked to hit a fucking heart button with their thumb on insta or leave a short comment on art or fic. Oh, you’re annoyed by artists and writers always asking for engagement, which is the only kind of reward they get for their free work? Boo hoo, bitch, it feels worse spending hours on work and posting it into the void.

Filed my federal tax return online and I apparently don’t qualify for the student loan interest deduction anymore because I was over the income limit for it this year (which I didn’t even know was a thing lmao). So, in the end, I owed the IRS $4.

Four whole dollars. I just think that’s hilarious. And if I don’t pay the $4, you know they’re gonna come after me. 😂
