CKV film over nationaal Nederlands Ballet

Voor deze opdracht was het de bedoeling dat je zou vertellen wat je opviel aan de documentaire over het Nationaal Nederlands Ballet.

Ik vond de documentaire eerlijk gezegd een beetje merkwaardig. De uitvoering heette "Greaseland" en het ging over dikke mensen. Maar de dans werd niet gedaan door dikke mensen, maar door graatmagere figuren in een groot, dik pak. Dat vond ik persoonlijk een ontzettende tegenvaller. Als je wil dat er dikke mensen dansen, moet je de dans aanpassen naar dikke mensen en ook dikke mensen casten. Dit is gewoon nep. Daarnaast was de leidster van het project, een Francoise, aan de lopende band vreemde opmerkingen aan het maken die op het randje zaten tussen beledigend en lovend zaten. Dikke mensen hadden wel wat omdat ze er zo lekker gezellig uitzagen en ik weet niet wat. Maar steeds leek ze niet helemaal de woorden te kunnen vinden waardoor ik het idee had dat ze deze dingen allen maar zei om de niet te definiëren groep "dikke mensen" niet voor het hoofd te stoten. Ik vond haar niet echt sympathiek over komen. Verder stond ze met haar gezonde levensstijl gebaseerd op water en wortelsticks wel te roken als een ketter. Beetje jammer.

Dat ze zelf geen van die dikke pakken had gedragen leek me wel duidelijk. Als je zag hoe die arme dansers liepen te zweten had je wel twee keer nagedacht voordat je aan zo'n project begint. De jongeren leken er maar weinig lol in te hebben en dat vond ik jammer want voor mij is dans iets wat begint bij plezier hebben, prettig bewegen door de ruimte. Door die pakken was die lol er helemaal van af volgens mij.

Kortom, ik had wat gemixte gevoelens bij deze docu, helaas. Als mensen aan de hand van deze eerste indruk vragen wat ik van het Nationaal Nederlands ballet vind, moet ik toch zeggen dat ik liever naar een amateurstuk kijk zonder torenhoge eisen. Helaas
