A: (for context Murtagh is a fantasy novel by Christopher Paolini) I have no plans to read it, or anymore Paolini stuff. I'm honestly super exhausted by straightman-centric fantasy and Scifi at this point. And yes, I know Sleep's lead was a girl but I just didn't like it very much, either. And now that I'm not running the discord, I CAN FUCKING SAY I DIDN'T LIKE IT!!!!! FREEDOM, BITCHES! I struggled to get through TSIASOS and I didn't bother with the sequel.

Currently I'm trying to read more fiction with women as the main character. (Except I couldn't get into GtN at all and gave up after 20 pages, sorry lesbian space necromancer fans).

What I am enjoying rn specifically? Currently rereading Wuthering Heights, and Pride and Prejudice. I just finished the first two crescent city novels, I have Fourth Wing and the sequel on order from my LBS and I've got a half dozen more my queue.

Knowing Harrow's motivation (to live forever in case the Body ever wakes up) makes her an even more sad and desperate waif upon reread. A poor little meow meow, as one might have said

Do you think Harrow would have really let Gideon go to the Cohort had Ortus not fled. Like they hate each other but in a codependent way, even if Harrow said she didn't remember Gideon existed usually (lmao.)

Gideon notes that Harrow always says the "I pray the tomb is shut forever" prayer with a weird fervor. (LMAO.)

I just got to Canaan House and I probably should have paid attention the first time around to the Third and Seventh shuttles arriving late due to needing clarification over "inconsistencies".
