🚺🔮GUCCI RESORT 2020🔮🚺 . For Gucci’s Resort 2020 show, Alessandro Michele made major statements on women’s reproductive rights amidst the restrictive abortion bans happening across the US. Michele decorated some garments with 22.05.1978; the date in which Italy passed laws “for the social protection of motherhood and the voluntary interruption of pregnancy”. There was also a flowing white dress embroidered with a flowering uterus addressing gender in equality. “Women should really be respected as much as men. They should have freedom of choice, even to interrupt a pregnancy, which is the most difficult one,” Michele told WWD.
