Nothing worse than finally having enough yoke to try the sweater on and realizing ‘damn, this yarn feels fucking terrible’.
I’ll just wear a shirt under it and learn for next time cuz I already own enough yarn to finish the sweater lol
#the yarn is KnitPick’s Kelbourne Woolens Germantown worsted#it’s a fine yarn; it just feels very very much like your standard wool#like what your great grandmother made cardigans out of#and I can never wear those against my skin for too terribly long#guess I was spoiled by all the merino or silk blends I used for the six billion Christmas presents I made#knitting#wool sweater#jay struggles with fiber arts
