i wrote a bunch of this in advance which is why the posting is very quick. i hope you enjoyed the last one!

tanaka - pisces

okay not to lie but i expected him to be a fire sign but perhaps he has a fire placement in his moon or mercury

but tanaka as a pisces also makes sense because pisces peeps in general are very, very emotional. like they jus feel things very strongly

much words, very wow

so tanaka's habits of yelling when he's pumped up and his temper is quick to flare

but he also cares very deeply about people and tends to be very protective which you can see when he's around hinata

he forgave the poor boy after he threw up on his pants that's a kind dad right there

even though he's a dumbass his intentions are very good and pure

he is such a romantic guy. he’d be the kind of person to make a mixtape or attempt to write a poem for the person he likes

his poetry is probably 50% ‘roses are red, violets are blue’ and 50% volleyball metaphors 

100% believes that crying is manly

in conclusion: a Handful. actually, maybe 2 handfuls

nishinoya - libra 

when i said that libras are very different i wasn't kidding 

fun fact: apparently a good number of shonen protags are libra. including but not limited to: naruto

actually, you could switch him and naruto and no one would know the difference except for sasuke and tanaka 

nishinoya's brutal honesty is what strikes me as very libra about him. sometimes its because of how impulsive he is and also because he tends to be very observant of people around him 

while some libras tend to be more people pleasing in search for a middle ground, in they still value fairness

he's also someone who stands by his decisions and has unwavering faith behind what he says

that switch in his personality from being energetic and temperamental to being all sErious mOde in a match is very libra

he’s super talkative and will talk anyone’s ear off 

100% would do something stupid without anyone prompting and after he did The Thing he’d be like ‘well you guys told me to’ 

in conclusion: deserves his own anime series named after him

daichi - capricorn 

it makes sense that he's a capricorn as he's the Father of karasuno

overall a very reliable guy and his skill doesn't necessarily come from being naturally talented but by working hard 

being able to ground everyone and help the group maintain its balance is his main skill

its like while everyone else is working on developing new techniques and strategies, dadchi is here to make sure everyone has a solid foundation

i kno im getting cheesy but dadchi deserves the entire fucking world

he’s an old soul at heart. i have a feeling he secretly owns a record collection but he’ll never tell anyone because what if they raid his house and scratch his records or something 

the kind of person who does the whole ‘dear mx.___/i sincerely hope to hear your response soon’ when he writes an email but someone has to stop him from throwing his phone against the wall when he gets ‘got it, thanks (sent from my iphone)’ as a response

has probably read a couple parenting manuals when he became team captain

in conclusion: idk can he like take a break? get some rest? do a facemask?

asahi - capricorn 

and noooooww for capricorn #2, aka the Son

hahaa get it cause he looks like jesus

this boi is just as reliable as daichi is but he feels the added pressure of needing to score points 

but his willingness to push through is also very capricorn because they work harder than anyone

although his anxieties weigh him, his greater sense of responsibility outweighs this fear

he's pretty much consistent and a creature of habit and far from impulsive

i cant say that being a capricorn makes him a daddy for legal reasons

while daichi has a record collection, asahi has a collection of those glass bottles with ships in them

don’t ask me how i came up with that

sugawara - gemini

i was ABOUT to be surprised that suga wasn't like a cancer because he's such a mom 

and then i remembered that he's a scheming little shit but i love him

he is a Very Loud boi, 90% of the cheering you hear from the bench comes from this dude

and tbh he looks like an angel but i swear to god he's probs listed all of your weaknesses in his head

his charisma and the way his teammates liven up when he's in the game is very gemini

a super smart boi who will always find a way to help and to take care of his young ones

but when his switch is flipped, it is fLIpPed

between him and the other third years, he's probs the one who messes around most and gets them all in trouble

 but he never gets into trouble because suga looks like an angel and asahi looks like a biker when he isn't looking like jesus

its still daichi who has to fix things but my man is wh1pp3d for suga

kuroo - scorpio

tsukki's #1 reason for needing to have feelings are these scorpios right here

while yamaguchi is soft baby boy scorpio kuroo is basically daddy scorpio

if you constantly wonder why seeing him makes your mouth water its because of his intense energy

he is SUPER persuasive. very few people would say no to him 

calm, cool, and collected most of the time but get’s ticked off by people who know how to get under his skin

but this guy will hold grudges for years to the point that he vividly remembers how people wronged him

can probably read people like the palm of his hand 

the kinds of people he's attracted to are the ones who are super direct and honest 

also ones that kind of give him a challenge? if u know what i mean ;)

no one is clingier than he is. will literally whine and crawl into people's laps for attention 

he doesn’t look like he cries a lot but he cries on the inside while ‘liability’ by lorde is playing

someone tell him to stop wearing black because it’s Too Much

in conclusion: i think at this point its pretty clear that i ship with tsukishima for legal reasons

kenma - libra 

ohhh boy another libra

just thinking about libras makes me tired

but i find that in terms of personality he's pretty similar with tsukishima which is why i think they'd also be really great friends

kenma likes having things to fixate on and his mind is very active which is why he loves playing games so much

he prefers it when things have a formula or a pattern for him to follow so it would be easier for him to make decisions

he prefers not to rock the boat and let things be 

at the same time he's a very sharp thinker and like our other libras, whatever he says he truly believes in

and since he's very logical and observant, others would believe in what he says

he's motivational in his own way

the kind of person who thinks off good comebacks after an argument is over

blows on game cartridges even though he knows he’s Not Supposed To

although he's more introverted, he's very talkative around people he likes

in conclusion: tsukishima and kenma have a groupchat where they roast tf out of kuroo

yakulev - (leo × scorpio)

angeri boi duo 

both of them bicker constantly and since they have very strong personalities the bickering jus never ends

except for when either lev accidentally compliments yaku or when yaku gets lowkey attracted by how intense lev looks

lev is super fucking clingy and yaku will be a complete tsundere about how much he likes the attention

both of them are hella blunt and honest so no need to beat around the bush 

yaku is hella competitive and will pick fights for the sake of picking fights

at the same time he's extremely tenacious and will stop at nothing to win

he's also very self-conscious of how others see him except for his height since lev mentions it constantly that at this point yaku doesnt give a fuck about it anymore

lev on the other hand is also very competitive but its more of the 'i wanna score a shit ton of points all by myself'

like he doesn't compete against a person directly but he likes achieving a lot of things on his own

unlike yaku, he could care less about what people think of him 

both of them are pillow huggers and neither of them like to talk about That One Time they ended up cuddling each other in their sleep during a training camp

but kuroo has pictures of it on his phone

in conclusion: tbh fire and water sign couples are really intense and i want more yakulev hc's

bokuto - virgo 

okay so my theory is that his moon sign or rising is sagittarius so his virgo-ness isn't as apparent

but some of those virgo traits do shine through

for example his moodines when he's not able to get his spikes through are because he's very conscious of how he performs

he loves being recognized for his achievements 

at the same time he's either really proud of himself or questioning it 

• thanks to some fire or water sign placements he's not an eMOtIonAlLy rEpReSsed virgo

he's very stubborn but also very clear-headed when it comes to his goals

because of that he's such a hard worker but he never forgets to have fun with it

its very hard for him to let go of things, whether they're promises or grudges

he tends to focus more on the positive things though

he has such a great memory and he'll bring up the smallest, most minor details which would surprise everyone but also make them feel touched

he loves going all out during his friends' birthdays 

everyone wants to he his friend because they want a birthday surprise from bokuto

like yachi, he also has a lot of highlighters but that’s because he always borrows one but forgets to give it back so it kinda accumulated

he's a v e r y  t i r e d  sagittarius

most of his energy is spent taking care of bokuto and being the Best Setter He Can Be

he doesn't hate it though because seeing bokuto happy about his spikes is one more point for their team

he doesn't really express but he's super competitive but in a very sneaky way 

this boy is secretly very chaotic. like his braincell count goes down to one when he's alone

the kind of person who thinks pouring an energy drink into 6 shots of espresso is a good idea

its like groupthink but opposite because the bad decisions just come from him

once in a blue moon he'd agree with his friends' impulsive decisions for the sake of making memories

he really, really loves traveling, especially going to historical sites

takes the best selfies without even trying 

pretty much good at everything. at one point kuroo said that akaashi couldn’t possibly be good at singing on top of everything else and akaashi straight up mariah carey-ed him

only has one highlighter and it barely works

probably the scariest person next to takeda-sensei when he gets angry

aside from being obsessed with haikyuu!! i’m also That Bitch Who’s Into Astrology and i’ve really been into looking up the characters’ zodiac signs so why not make it into a post ? these are basically me analyzing how the characters fit their zodiac signs, and also making headcanons based on their signs. ofc i’m only basing these on their sun signs because it would be hell to go over their entire freaking birth chart. so let’s get into it!!

hinata - gemini/cancer cusp

okay for starters one thing very interesting abt kagehina is that they're both cusp babies

(for those who dont know being born 'on the cusp' means ur born a day before another zodiac season so u share traits between both signs)

in hinata's case its gemini and cancer which makes sO MUCH SENSE

the hyperactivity and hinata just being In Constant Motion is very gemini

but the his pureness of heart and soul is very cancer 

u can even tell jus by the way he talks which is 50% pure excitement and love for volleyball and 50% volleyball sound effects

the way he's very extroverted and at the same time kind with his opponents is very gemini/cancer

baby boi basically gets a long with everyone and everyone loves hinata which is why he has a harem

as a gemini he's also very very excited about learning new things and new opportunities because geminis are very passionate abt learning

and his love and devotion to volleyball is very cancer esp since its a skill he chose to develop over time after falling in love with the sport

he is the bestest friend you could ever have, super loyal and caring

but also such a bABY. he’s clingy and pouty and down for Attention 

in conclusion: the softest and noisiest boi

kageyama - sagittarius/capricorn cusp

oOOOH ANOTHER CUSP CHILD

which is interesting because while hinata is an air/water sign cusp child, kageyama is a fire/earth sign cusp child

which makes for some very interesting dynamics because they're quite different in terms of personality

if i were to summarize this whole analysis it would be: sag is responsible for kageyama's dumbass energy and cap is responsible for his talented volleyballer energy

(not too generalize but most of the sags i've met are basically Big Dumbass Energy)

but sag signs, and fire signs in general, are typically very energetic and competitive. also super aggressive and passionate abt what they do

caps on the other hand are hardworking and tend to be reserved emotionally

god i know so many capricorns who are basically 'hAh, emotional repression go brrrrrrr'

 but also very practical-minded, they don't take things personally and expect you not to

n e weigh back to our boi

you can esp see during kag's 'king of the court' era how sag/cap he is

his frustration and bossiness is very sag but that frustration was based on the fact that he was working hard on his tosses and he expected his teammates to do the same

that's why kags is also not very socially intelligent and sensitive because he values results first 

at the same time, he's able to put personal feelings aside and be accountable for his mistakes. his pride balances out with his desire to do better

in conclusion: someone pls be friends with him

tsukishima - libra 

aHhh libras

there's just something about libras. in my experience no two are the same and the differences in their personality are very dependent on their moon sign

(this is why moon signs are v important y'all)

but first off air signs are very intellectual which we obvs see in tsukki but when it comes to libras, they recognize the importance of decision-making

(am i making an excuse for their indecisiveness? maybe?)

his intellect and ability to quickly make decisions upon reflex is very obvs in his gameplay (esp the shiratorizawa match which i keep on 24hr loop in my head)

at the same time he's very patient and very able to get into his opponents' heads

when it comes to how he is with people, tsukishima's ability to intimidate or annoy people just by speaking are very libra

air signs are also known to be easily distracted and tend not to take things that seriously which can be seen in tsukishima's initial behaviors abt exerting minimum effort

but once he got that taste of excitement oH BOI all of that brain cell juice just goes into winning 

tsukishima's pessimism is also very rooted in how aware he is of the realities of life

that emotional distance (hence the infamous Tsukishima Kei is bad at feelings ao3 tag) is very air sign

but once they find someone they like libras are such softies

apparently they’re the flirtiest sign sooooo

 in conclusion: kuroo has his work cut out for him and yamaguchi is the bestest friend Ever

yamaguchi - scorpio

okay i have a feeling some of y'all are familiar with the stereotype that scorpios are kinky, goth people

which is not true because my gf is a scorpio and has the personality of an excited puppy

which is what yamaguchi is but aGain. moon. signs. are. very. important

while scorpios are very emotional (like every water sign) and tend to be quite dark , serious and pessimist with thinking, i've read that they usually undergo a large amount of personal transformation

with yamaguchi, his anxieties tended to overwhelm and prevent him from thinking of alternate possibilities and doing his very best

“when i start gaining self-confidence it’s over for you bitches - yamaguchi tadashi, probably”

but his fears also pushed him to do much better and eventually develop his skills to become a key player for the team

scorpios are also very protective, honest and the most no-bullshit out of all the water signs

that's why when he told tsukishima off for being uncool, it was very much a build up of his frustrations abt tsukishima not being serious enough despite all his skills

his relationship dynamic with tsukishima is also v interesting because they're basically sister signs 

so they're different but they keep each other grounded

while yamaguchi is protective of tsukki he's also unafraid to call him out which makes him a Great Friend

in conclusion: a cinnamon roll but a spicy one

oikawa - cancer 

he's actually born a day before hinata which is wildt when u think abt it

can u imagine them joining a birthday party????

the thing about cancers is that they're either in mommy mode or baby mode

oikawa is mostly in babey mode though what a petty queen

he is SO SENSITIVE just the slightest threats to his pride will instantly tick him off

it just makes it super easy to pick on him iswtg

but on the upside he's the best person to go to when you're upset and knows how to comfort people

his ability to be so in-tune with his teammates and having those instincts is very cancer

he's also the kind of friend who'll stick around you for a long time and will do anything for you

when he falls in love he'll probably stay in love for a long time because cancers are all about that

he's such a child that seeing him excited about something is so heartwarming

in conclusion: iwa carries around the world’s smallest violin to play for oikawa when he’s sad

iwaizumi - gemini

do u wanna know the real reason why this guy is such a tsundere its because hE's a GeMINI

he's obvs such a softie but will he show his genuine love and affection for his friends (and oikawa)

over his dead body

when he's not bickering with oikawa he's a guy of few words but when he's talking about his interests (godzillas) the floodgates are unleashed

seijoh's team would be nothing without iwaizumi just being like: get. ur. shits. together. shits

even though he's a tsundere dumbass the things he says are actually Much Wisdom

which is perfect since he's President of Oikawa-Related Matters

ukai probably has done something like that at some point

ukai's the kind of leader who knows how to bring out people's motivations to win

as a relatively young coach he's really into exploring new techniques and constantly innovating karasuno's tactics

takeda-sensei - capricorn 

karasuno is really damn full of capricorns like wtf

but tbh the capricorns have very crucial positions not just within the team but like managing it as an actual volleyball club

takeda's the best at organizing things and he knows how to manage their resources

and has anyone stopped to consider the fact that he's doing this along with teaching high school students

does he need sleep? hECK YEA

i feel like the only time he gets to sleep is during the bus rides to and from practice matches

the only times he actually chooses to cry are after karasuno wins a match

plus the fact that he sounds so scary when he's angry just by the tone of his voice and words without even raising his voice is so capricorn
