Hello! I just wanna ask if there will be an option to change your hairstyle in the game? Amazing demo by the way! In love already :)

There are no plans to do different hairstylea at this time. As I am the sole artist and writer for now, I have to keep the features to what I can manage as a one person team.

Recolors I can manage but the amount of work needed to allow for a change in hairstyle is going to add too much work to my plate, unfortunately. Morgan already has alternate hairstyles that are story related (such as tying her hair back, or having a fancier art style).

If I, for instance, had an option for curly hair - then I’d need the default version, ponytail version, formal version. All in the same five hair colors. This instantly would jump me from 15 hair files to 30 hair files. The more types she has, the number of variations begins to increase exponentially.

For just her sprite, that’s mostly manageable even if it is additional work. The issue is the CGs. Because the CGs need to reflect Morgan’s exact customisation the amount of work just starts to grow really rapidly. The more work I have to do per CG also means that there would potentially be less CGs overall.

I wanted to (and contemplated) adding hair textures such a curly or very straight. But I feel like it’s just too much work for me to manage unfortunately. OnO
