#harmonia humming

Genuine question: assuming money is no object, if your favorite doll company made a doll of your absolute FAVORITE character, would you want to buy it because of the character alone?

(This doesn't include original characters created by the same company like a monster high draculaura being made by mattel)

For me, I don't think I would if I didn't also find the doll pretty and accurate to their appearance, but then again none of my fav characters have gotten dolls made of them. I know this is a big point of contention for Dollfie Dream fans feeling like the dolls don't resemble their favs at all, like Frieren and Miku.

Alternatively, would you be willing to buy a doll of a character that you don't know, or even dislike, if you thought it looked good?

I'm interested in seeing what other people think, so feel free to tag or relpy!

Does anyone have the deets on harmonia bloom/humming dolls? Are they good quality? I like the style of them but I generally see them sold for $300, which is like double the price of a pullip and I'm worried they would have even smaller and more fragile joints, especially with the hand change options. Do they fit blythe clothes/shoes well?

Oh hey have you seen the harmonia humming miku dolls?

Even though they have a creepy feel to them personally I find them really charming nonetheless I guess I just have weird taste lol. But I haven’t seen you post them so I wanted to share as I just remembered the first one existed a while ago and just found the second one

Some people are just kinda creeped out by dolls in general, but I think theyre cute!!! I think its fun to post what are not specifically anime figures too for some biodiversity so they'll fit well.

Yaaaaay I was able to pre order near harmonia chatty!!! I went through amiami instead because the shipping options on hobbysearch were kinda confusing and I didn't want them to switch me to ems or dhl if air small packet wasn't available and auto charge me (btw their shipping options for the harmonias was really weird, most of them were marked with small packet, but some like Belle were not. I wonder why? Maybe the bloom dolls have bigger boxes?)

I'm trying to resist the urge to pre order the iris collect petit mira when she's available, but it looks like it won't be too hard since it seems like the pink haired one that I want is a nagoya store exclusive anyway.

The rainy days

a small CCCC fic

Apollo paced around their home for a while now, he seems restless for an odd reason, though we all went through it. The rain poured out as the skies deepened it's dark colors while it’s waters tapped on the windows. Artemis is on the couch that is near one of said windows, listening to the rain; he always loved the sounds of the droplets tip tapping on the windows, it gives him a sense of comfort, a hiraeth one can suppose. 

Atlas is in his room, the colors of the outside reflecting the colors of his room with hues of grey that mixes well with the rather vibrant red. all the while Harmonia is in his own room, reading a book. Atlas is sketching something on his sketchbook, not too unusual, he needs to have a hobby or two here and there nowadays to keep himself busy from everything.

Meanwhile, Apollo had been thinking for a bit- well- for awhile, now. They hadn’t fought over the course of a full day. Which shouldn’t be a thing to think over too much but it’s somewhat surprising to see, especially since fights are so often all of them sort of forget that on some days there isn’t one at all. ‘Today must be one of those days’ he thought. (“We haven’t fought for a bit now.”) Artemis spoke, Apollo responds [“Yes I know, it feels somewhat refreshing, conveniently on a rainy day as well. It’s pouring hard out.”]. (“I suppose…”) Artemis becomes silent for a moment before turning his head to face where he’d been hearing Mind pace around for the past 10 minutes. (“why were you pacing around so long? It isn’t usually like you to pace around too much”) his tone tells concern, but Apollo dismisses it. 

[“I’m sure it’s nothing too much, just the weather affecting me maybe”] he ushered the concern away but Artemis just seems suspicious of what he’s told to him, though he didn’t want to push it too far, the day is too calm for a fight to potentially happen but he can’t help but be worried, the sun is his twin after all, despite the differences; he knows him better than most.

(“are you sure?”) The moon puts it in the wringer but in a rather slow and soft approach, this fortunately only leads to the sun sighing defeat and looking up to the ceiling. ["I…actually do not know now, Heart”] Apollo told, voice defeated and somewhat tired. 

The two stay there, silent for a moment before the sun turns to the moon and asks a rather unusual casual question [“wanna play smash with Whole and Soul? It’s been a while and I still have to beat Soul in one round”]. The moon is silent for a moment, seemingly in thought. After another moment or so, he gave a small smile and nodded.

(“yeah, sure.”) 

In the meanwhile; Soul was bored of having to sketch just about anything out of boredom so he decided to stand up from his bed and approach his older brother’s room. Atlas walks through the hall, the wooden floors creaking ever so slightly as he approaches Harmonia’s door. 

Conveniently, Harmonia opens the door, book in hand. He looks at his younger brother and seems surprised but not shocked. “Is there something you need, Atlas?” the Whole questions as The Soul smiled and waved his hand dismissively. {“nah but I did want to mention how there aren't any fights today, no yelling and all. Just the peace and quiet of everything.”} he stated as Harmonia hummed in agreement, nodding his head. 

“Well it is a rainy day after all, weather news said it might rain for the whole week; might as well try to relax when the sun needs it’s beauty sleep” Harmonia tells as Atlas chuckled at the statement, {“off you go again with the poetry crap, but I have to agree, I bet Mind will come in with Heart and-”} 

(“Hey guys!”) Artemis cuts Atlas off, walking to the two older brothers while Apollo trails behind. {“speaking of the devils themselves! What’s up guys?”} Soul greeted them as the Mind moved forward. [“we were wondering if you two would like to come and play some smash ultimate with us?”] offered the Mind, heart seems very excited, expecting them to say yes. 

Harmonia hummed in thought and nodded after a second, “yeah why not? Something to pass the time before dinner”. {“I’m maining Bowser, you’re going down Apollo~”} Atlas teases the youngest of the twins with a smirk of cockiness, Apollo scoffed. [“No way am I losing to you again, come on we’ve set the game up already”].

Thus, all four briskly walked to the living room and hopping onto the couch then sitting in their positions, getting their own controllers as they all got comfortable.

For the week, just for a while, nothing bad had ever happened. Just like old times. 

If only it rained more often.

Two. Two people who can potentially figure out his whole scheme. Tama Leora and Tiresias.

He'd only come to know of Tama recently. He'd been slowly setting up private group - the Teeth in the Dark. They were an old guild in Devos that had been disbanded, but now he had brought them back together. They were the only ones who got to see his 'true personality'.

"So, what'd you call this meeting for?" Lumiere lounges on a windowsill far about the meeting room.

King Damien deadpans. "Would it kill you to come down, first?"

"I'd rather not."

Clicking his tongue, Damien turns his head to look at the rest of the room. A large and round, dark oak meeting table is in the center of the room. He sits at it, with Queen Fluerette beside him. Members of the Teeth in the Dark also sit around.

"Alright, let's get started." Damien sighs before narrowing his eyes at the leader of the Teeth in the Dark. "To start, how the hell did you end up losing 20 toms to Queen Melody's aides?!"

The leader held up his paws. "I have no clue either, sire. Those two were like monsters cutting through them, especially that Dolin." He sighs. "His fighting style was familiar too. But I can't remember from where."

"That's irrelevant." Queen Fluerette narrows her eyes. "I gave you cloaking spells, and yet the kit still found you out."

"It's like she could hear us-!"

"Quiet, idiot." The leader hisses, whacking the one who spoke up over the head. "We used Wind runes. There's no feasible way she could have."

Lumiere, from his little perch, let's out a hum. Damien flicks an ear and glances up at him. He's come to learn that's the other's 'I know something you don't' hum. "Do you have something to say, Lumiere?"

"Yeah, why are you keeping the bird?"

Everyone's eyes drift up to the cage on the ceiling, where Auyrn was kept. A cloth kept the bird's beak shut, and a rune was place on him so that no one could track the bird.

Damien shrugs. "I can't have news of this getting to Luminos. Even if I can.. pluck some strings, it's still dangerous. Especially if you or Fluerette is implicated."

He gives a warm smile to said queen, who looks away as if to hide a blush. Lumiere narrows his eyes before rolling them. "Riiiiight." He then gives a small smirk. "But that's not what you wanted me to say, hm?"

The king flicks an ear. ".. yes. Lumiere, do you know something about Tama that we don't?"

He hums, looking out the window. "Well, we're all well aware that I'm a Mandana. My father was famous for his connection to how our magic actually works." He chuckles. "He passed down some things onto me. Particularly, about.. Blessings."

"Get to the point." Fluerette narrows her eyes.

"It's a pretty good chance that Tama has the Blessing of Zephyr. More specifically.." Lumiere looks down at them and grins. Coincidentally, the setting sun's rays of light pour into the room, bathing him in an eerie glow. "It seems like she's been given the ability to hear anyone and anything, anywhere." He chuckles. "Any type of concealment spells are useless against a Muse."

"And you couldn't have told us sooner?!" The leader of the Teeth in the Dark hisses, his tail puffing up.

"You never asked." Lumiere continues to grin.

King Damien rubs his forehead before sighing. "That's something to keep in mind then. Now.. moving on."

He hums, and a large, rolled up map appears in his paw. He sets it down and allows it to roll out. It's a map of Harmonia, with nine spots marked.

"Look. The marks here are seals. They're the way we can win this whole thing before it even begins."

Lumiere's ears swivel towards them. Damien had been talking about a country-wide coup..

"They contain copious amounts of magical energy." Damien explains smoothly. "If we open the seals all at once, we'll have that magic for ourselves, and we'll able to take our rightful places atop Harmonia."

The villain narrows his eyes as he thinks over those words.

"So.. I would have a monopoly over ice magic?" Queen Fluerette tilts her head. Though she blushes lightly when Damien places his paws on her shoulders and leans over.

"Ice and wind magic." He smiles. "I intend to give you both seals. The rest of the seals will be divided between us evenly."

"Sounds.. good." Lumiere speaks up amongst the other noises of agreement. But his tail flicks from irritation. There was definitely something Damien wasn't telling them..

That, and something his father once said was nagging at him. Something about.. some things needing two souls to open? Or something like that.

He crosses his arms, eyes glowing as the sun finally goes beneath the horizon. He couldn't care less about Damien underestimating him.. but if he finds out the king was trying to dupe him in some way?

Then he'll make sure to show the king why all the kingdoms were so wary (if not scared) of Lumiere.
