First of all, I was checking to see if the rumor was true when I heard about it. When I found out it wasn't, I let everyone know that it wasn't. I'm not trying to spread outrage, I'm just letting people know that a rumor is false. How the hell does that make me a patsy?

So, I refuse to watch Velma, but I heard a rumor about the show turning Scooby into a black girl that Shaggy dates, which is really REALLY messed up. But, I found this on Twitter.

So, this might be a false rumor, which is a relief. Like turning Scooby, a talking dog, into a black woman for Shaggy to date is wrong and a whole new low. And, this show has sank into so many lows.

Andrew Dobson/Tom Preston is and always have been straight. He has never claimed to be anything otherwise. Him being an “LGBT-ally artist” is just how he covers up his extremely blatant lesbian fetish. And by fetish, I mean he views lesbians as innocent pure and incorruptible beings of pure goodness that do nothing but cuddle, hold hands and chastely kiss, mainly because he never got over getting teased in high school(and probably elementary) so he hates and depises men and anything considered “masculine” or manly”. He has a complete inability to accept any sort or criticism whatsoever for his artwork because of a massive ego and because he use to be a moderately popular webcomic artist on DeviantART. He is almost 40, claims to have PTSD from getting water lightly sprayed in his face from a squirt bottle, and...you know how people will sometimes over-exaggerate how a “tumblr-SJW” acts, to the point where it sounds more like a stereotype joke than an actual person? He basically if that stereotype joke because an actual person.

That harpnotes person is using a really common silencing tactic that I see a lot whenever a marginalized person talks about how an institution harms them. They’re really pulling the “if you don’t have solutions, then shut up” card as if you can magically pull solutions out of your ass to an incredibly complex problem.

Newsflash asshole: people are allowed to talk about how things harm them without having solutions. People who don’t have solutions still deserve to be heard and have their voices uplifted. In fact, it’s fucking necessary to listen to and boost the voices of marginalized people who don’t have solutions because that’s literally the beginning step to being able to discover or create solutions.

Exactly, the moment I read that part I knew they were not looking for a reasonable discussion. No one uses those words if they are actually looking for a solution. They dont want a solution. They just want people to stop complaining.

I just want to give everyone a bit of background on myself and why I was seeing things the way I originally stated. I come from an abusive home. My parents were both mutually abusive to each other and to me. My mother did things like smash my dad over the head with a cast iron skillet, stab him in the leg, and throw a plate at his foot which smashed and his foot swelled up. Those are just a few. My dad would go into black outs and throw things at our heads and threaten to choke the shit out of us or smack us. Towards me, my mother was very verbally and emotionally abusive. I've seen a mutually abusive relationship first hand.

Looking at the evidence that was originally presented when Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were getting divorced, I thought for sure he was the abuser. Presented with the audio yesterday, I was immediately brought back to my childhood and my home life. I thought for sure this was something like what my parents have. I was wrong. I am admitting that because I am not afraid to be wrong. And I'm not afraid to admit that I was perhaps jaded by my own experiences.

I want to thank the people who actually took the time to send me links and information to shed light on the truth rather than just calling me a piece of shit and other names. That's how society should work, we should see someone with incorrect information and provide them with facts and the opportunity to be corrected. Instead, we seem more inclined to jump people's throats.

Regardless, I have reviewed the information given and I'd like to apologize to Johnny and to the people I argued with on this site because I was wrong. And I think the media wants people to be wrong, I thought I was following the original case closely enough that I had all the facts, but the media clearly wanted to keep the narrative of "man abuses wife" going and I never saw anything debunking her claims.
