We haven’t been able to see the new Asa-Haruka dynamic at play besides him stalking her because he finds her sus, but after the whole aquarium incident even without her going overpowered mode I think their dynamic would have shifted. You could think there’d be tension between them after he shunned her for breaking the cellphone, but she didn’t seem to resent him in the next chapter. No I’m more talking on Haruka’s side: Asa and Haruka had something of a heart to heart, him talking about his Chainsaw Man obsession with hints of his issues peaking through, sitting in a foetal position as she is sprawled on the floor, and then full on cried-screamed in a breakdown right in front of her eyes.

Haruka has been shown so far to be a very proud person, to treat his status and reputation as a medal to show off and preen at. Having been so, to be blunt, vulnerable and pathetic in front of her has got to make him feel some type of way right. At the time they thought they were gonna die, all fine and good, but now that they all survived and he’s back in his life again I do think he thinks back on it and cringes and sweats and is like “omg she must think I’m a loser… Aw shit oh no”. So I think he’d become more awkward around her from then on. And currently he seems busy being scared shitless of her (hyperbole but let a girl dream), but I like to think that when they interact next and he’ll undoubtedly be uncomfy it won’t just be stress but also that lingering “hey umm I know I was a mess last time we interacted forget about it okay thanks” awkwardness on his side. Ofc he’ll try to play it cool but like, a bit hard to do after that. That vulnerability he shared has to have an impact!! They are going to be so funny
