What if there was an Hetalia Pathologic AU? (With some Rusame?)

Alfred arrives to the mysterious Russian Steppe to learn about defeating death itself, only to come in conflict with a plague that’s threatening to take out the town. As a doctor and self-proclaimed “hero”, he has a moral duty to save these lives.

However, he won’t consider the casualties. He’ll side with the people with influence.

“As for brainy, he has no regard for casualties at all.”

Along the way, there is Ivan. He’s the towns physician and menkhu; a surgeon who can dissect the dead. Though, once he returns to the town after studying medicine, he’s immediately accused of murder and people constantly try to kill him. Throughout the game, he is known as the Ripper, due to the one murder he didn’t commit and the many he did.

“Your gentle hands are used to killing, not giving life. You will inevitably do harm.”

And then there’s the dynamic between them. The conflicting ideologies where Alfred sides with preventing the healthy and powerful from getting sick, to Ivan siding with developing a vaccine for those who are sick and dying.

“Neither of you knows compassion.”

(I was also thinking about having Arthur as our miracle girl, the Changling. But I’m unsure.)

But goodness, this AU has me in a chokehold… I love it.
