There’s something different about him. Something that makes him unable to look away, trying to watch him at every single available chance.

And it’s infuriating because he’s a doctor for christs sake. One without a body and that has (more or less, willingly or not) achieved immortality. He shouldn’t be so hung up on something so simple as a human. Much less a former employee that he had never even seen the likes of before.

But he is so endlessly fascinating. So stubborn and determined for a bunch of toys. So resilient and clever, getting past his many trials and tribulations that he throws out for the mere fun of it.

And the doctor can’t seem to look away to save his life. Even as he gets closer and closer to destroying him. Even as he destroys a little more of him and discovers another piece to his story. The doctor can’t seem to get enough of it.
