Anyway if nothing else matters then I hope people remember that Pope Francis used his last public address to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and call Israel a terrorist state:
"I continue to receive very serious and painful news from Gaza. Unarmed civilians are subjected to bombings and shootings. It is terrorism."

I just had the thought of Tyler tryna get with reader but reader is convinced that him and Rain still love each other and miss each other or whatever so he’s tryna keep his distance.
Tyler’s literally pulling his hair out tryna woo him and Rain is wildly entertained and entirely unwilling to help. She’d been lied to and they had been mistreating her brother (reader and Tyler hadn’t, but Tyler had lied to her) so sue her for wanting a bit of petty revenge.
Andy, bless his heart, can’t understand why the two males can’t just get their shit together and confess. It’s not fun hearing their obvious like for one another in the tones of their voices and heartbeats and still having to watch them act none the wiser.

Synthetic reader who doesn’t realise he’s a synthetic. Has somehow developed to a point where he’s like any other human. Has emotions and parts and bodily requirements and whatnot.
He’d been a prototype. Something Yutani had made as an effort to infiltrate situations that required someone stronger and faster than the average human but passing as one in any other way or something.
But since he was a prototype he was the only one of his kind. Had been made and abandoned fast enough that his creation had never made it out to the public, let alone to majority of the company.
He doesn’t remember much, just remembers waking up somewhere and then going on his way. He’d learned everything he knew from the people he’d met on the streets, only had basic functions already coded into him.
Then he’d met Rain and Tyler, and by extension the rest of their group of friends. They had taken him in readily, made him part of their family like he’d always been there.
He shared a special kinship with Andy in particular, though he could never figure out why exactly.
I’m missing my point though! My whole point was reader doesn’t realise he’s a synthetic, not until he’s on the station with Tyler, Rain and Andy and he’s running from the facehuggers with the others.
Fear is turning him near blind and his heart is working overtime. He doesn’t make it in time though, the door’s closed and he’s colliding with the glass with an anguished cry. He can hear those things running up behind him, can hear them getting closer. Tyler’s face is in front of him, screaming through the glass and banging on it as he looks between him and Andy.
He can’t help the flinch when one of them runs into the door next to him, shoulders hunching up around his ears when a couple more hit the door on the other side. He’s unwilling to turn around, even if the lack of impact and terrible death is not actually happening to him like he thought.
He does eventually, and what he’s met with both confuses and relieves him more than he’d thought. The face huggers stand around his feet, a couple still jumping at the door and paying him no attention.
Tyler’s gone quiet on the other side of the door, looking on in equal confusion and relief. Reader kicks one of them, watching as it screams and flails before running off, as if it doesn’t quite know what’s happened to it.
When he turns back to the door, hesitant smile on his face, he’s met with Rain and Andy, the former staring with wide eyes while the latter tilts his head in obvious question.

It was one night. One night where they were both a little a lonely, one of them high off their face (though you could never tell considering he seemed to always be like that) and the other most probably suffering from a contact high or whatever the close approximation was.
The point is! It shouldn’t have happened. He wasn’t even in heat, wasn’t even close to it and he hadn’t been in rut. So how the fuck was he staring down at four different branded, positive, pregnancy tests.
“Fuck me.” Or maybe not, considering that’s how he got here in the first place. He didn’t even know where the hell the guy was considering he’d taken off and gone who knows where. Butcher had been livid, trashed their in between hideout on the third day Soldier Boy hadn’t come back.
Hughie ran fingers through his hair, eyes stuck on a particular test that boasted about being a good option for supes, or people who slept with them at least. He didn’t know how true it was or if it made any sort of difference considering he’d never been in this position before, but something in him was already accepting the results as fact.
Though the very large majority was still very much against it all. He couldn’t be pregnant. Much less with his kid. What the hell was he gonna do? What the hell would Butcher do? Oh god and the rest of his friends?
Hughie had to take a few deep breaths through his nose, trying to quell the rising panic. Hughie knew the man himself wouldn’t be against it… maybe. He at least knew he’d want the kid considering what he’d been told…
God who was he kidding? This was Soldier Boy! The man was a raging homophobe, had a weird hate-respect relationship with Hughie, and he’d disappeared a week after they’d done it, gone for months without any of them knowing where.

“Hughie?” Said man knew that voice like he knew his own, and the sound of it was enough to send blinding anger through him. Hot and rabid and sudden enough to make him push past Butcher, striding up to the very much naked man before slapping him across the face.
The sound is loud in the silence, a silence that’s wrought with tension from both Butcher’s surprise and distrust and Soldier Boy’s shock and disbelief. Hughie could give less of a shit though, glaring at the other man as he fights off tears that should have long dried out by now.
He’d spent months crying over what was lost and who’d been the cause of it and he swore he wasn’t going to dwell on it any further. He’d been good about it too! Hadn’t thought of the man in years and had started moving on. Kinda.

“John…” said supe lets out a long exhale through his nose, shoulders unintentionally relaxing from around his ears and head already turning toward the voice.
He’s supposed to be putting up a tough front. Letting these people know he’s not to be fucked with and that he can very easily and very readily hurt them if they decided to piss him off again.
But that voice is so soft. So comforting even with the slight hint of fear that he can’t help himself. Turns towards it like a flower to the sun, wants to bury himself in it and wrap it around him so he can hide from the pressure and stress of being absolutely perfect at every single given moment.
The gentle hand on his bicep nearly does him in, legs probably threatening to give out if he weren’t floating a couple inches off the ground already. He sighs again, shorter and with far too much relief.
It’s too much emotion for the amount of people around. Too much vulnerability in the face of strangers and too much weakness in the eye of the public. But he can hear the panicked heart rates of everyone, the shallow breathing that is near non-existent, as if they were wishing they didn’t need to breathe so they could escape quietly.
He doesn’t focus on any of it though, instead focuses on the steady heartbeat right next to him, slightly sped up because of adrenaline but no fear. Never fear when around him. Because he knows. His sweet Hughie knows that he’d never hurt him. Not in a million lifetimes.

Have I ever watched The Boys in all its entirety? No. Do I care if this isn’t canon compliant or in character? Also no. Have I only watched a shit ton of edits, memes and bits and pieces of episodes my dad was watching and it’s all I have to go off of? Yes.
So as you can probably guess, don’t like, don’t read. You leave hate after all this, I’ll punch in the face. Anyway!
Hughie can’t help the giggle he lets out when the blond hair nuzzles deeper into his side, the pressure ticklish and the action amusing. He smiles as he watches that head stop for a moment, seemingly debating before it’s burrowing once more, a touch more aggressive and aimed directly for his ticklish spot.
It pulls a louder laugh from him this time, body recoiling from the feeling but unable to get far because of the arm looped around him. His hands come down, threading through the strands but doing nothing to push the other away, merely running through silken strands.
Somehow he manages to escape the onslaught, falling on his side and preventing further burrowing. There’s an arm crammed under his hip, a chin digging into the meat of his thigh and his head is uncomfortably propped against the arm rest of the couch. But none of it matters.
Not when he’s got happy tears in the corners of his eyes, smile wide and unrestrained as he looks down on an equally happy grin, blue eyes shining with mirth and hair dishevelled from its usual perfect styling.
Hughie can’t help but run his fingers through it more, relishing in the way those blue eyes flutter and he leans into the touch just slightly. He doesn’t try fixing it, having a not so secret love for the man’s unkempt looks. John knows this, indulges him when they’re in the privacy of his penthouse or Hughie’s apartment, forgets the usual routine of doing his hair in the mornings immediately after waking up just so he can have Hughie do it for him.
It always takes a little longer because John loves receiving Hughie’s affection and the latter loves putting his hair up in funny styles or just prolonging the time until he has to leave. But neither are willing to change the routine now. It works for them and John really could care less what stupid little meeting or interview he could be running late for if put up against his time with Hughie.
He’s Homelander, he’d love to see someone even attempt to tell him off for doing what he wanted to. Bar the love of his life that is. Unfortunately Hughie is a weakness through and through for Homelander, and he could do near anything he wanted to John without fear of consequence. Except leaving him of course. Hughie was never allowed to leave him. Not now. Not ever.

Ooh! So I’m reading Catching Heat and Minerva says Desmond sees his home as being the place the first mentor resided and Ezio himself which got me thinking!
What if! Old Ezio gets into the library but as the doors are opening Minerva, Jupiter, whoever, makes a switch at the same time.
So I’m gonna scramble everything a bit and say that as Altaïr dies in his time and Desmond activates the Grand Temple in his, they both perfectly line up with Ezio getting into the library in his.
It’s a fucking long shot and doesn’t even technically work but I’m gonna say it worked anyway.
But they all line up and the Isu use it to pull Desmond and Altaïr to Ezio’s time, cause Altaïr and Ezio are within the same space and Desmond wants to be with the both of them anyway. Which means it’s easier to pull the two to that point of time than either of the other two’s point of time. (Also there’s more to live for in Ezio’s time rather than the other two’s)
So Altaïr sits down to die but suddenly he’s opening his eyes again, feeling something flowing through his veins and making him feel 30 years younger despite the age he can see in his hands.
Desmond’s stumbling forward and falling at his feet, gasping and shivering with aftershocks while his skin lights up with lines that look as if the eye itself carved its design on his skin.
And Ezio’s coming inside to find the two of them, confused as a mf cause how could anyone survive within the library this long?? How is that even possible?

So there’s a bit in Rebirth where your finding the crystals for Odin and on the last one Chadley mentions how Odin guards the doors to death or something and turns away all those who are not supposed to be there.
So I had a thought of Cloud, maybe it’s when he’s a kid or maybe it’s after the whole Nibleheim incident, but he dies yeah? And he ends up at the gates and Odin’s there and Odin is just absolutely fascinated by this scrawny kid that’s staring up at him with a blazing hellfire in his eyes and is refusing to accept the fact that he’s dead.
Odin knows it’s his time and that he’s definitely meant to be there but he can’t help but be curious and wonder what would happen if he bent the rules a bit. Just this once, for the child that dared to threaten him and refused to show fear.
He’s had a long existence, sue him for wanting some form of entertainment, even if it might get him in trouble with a few higher beings. So he revives Cloud and shows him some favour so he doesn’t end up back at his gates far sooner than he’d like. Good thing too cause the boy is a reckless, selfless mess that has no regard for his own life sometimes.
Now if it’s kid Cloud who dies then you can take it down this whole ‘Cloud leads a different life in Midgar cause he actually made it into SOLDIER’ path and throw in some fun add ons with Odin and possibly other summons and what not.

Angeal shot another glance toward his protege, wincing when the man mad a particularly harsh stab at the edge of a potato, fork skimming off the side and screeching across the plate instead.
When he turned back to Genesis it was obvious he’d have to intervene soon otherwise he’d be passing Zack’s ashes off to his parents with a mildly apologetic Genesis in tow.
He sighed quietly, mentally prepping himself for the ensuing conversation before giving Zack a small smile.
“Zack are you alright? You seem to be… distracted, tonight.” Genesis scoffed none too quietly, but Zack paid it no mind. Instead he dropped his fork on his plate, heedless of the noise it made as he crossed his arms and glared down at it.
“I’m fine. Just the thirds being annoying again.” Angeal frowned, this time with more concern for Zack’s actual problem rather than the safety of his person.
Genesis only seemed interested in the possible drama their puppy was presenting them with, leaning forward and propping his chin on his linked hands.
“Oh? They must’ve done something especially upsetting if it has you in a mood like this. You didn’t even react this way when they stained your three uniforms for the week and got you in trouble with the equipment stores.”
Angeal remembered those few months and Zack’s near constant complaints about being a mule as punishment, they hadn’t been very fun. Genesis was right though, the young SOLDIER had taken it all on with a smile and tired eyes, shrugging it off as newbies having their fun. This seemed much worse than that.
“Zack are you sure you’re alright? You can report them to Lazard if they get too out of hand.” Zack snorted, glare hardening as he grumbled underneath his breath. Unfortunately for him though the two other people in the room had enhanced hearing.
“Can’t exactly report someone for asking out your best friend.” The pieces quickly clicked together in Angeal’s head, silent understanding coming over him whereas Genesis made a mixed noise of interest and surprise.
“The little blond one that I wouldn’t mind inviting into our bed?” Zack turned his glare on Genesis, and for once it actually made the red head back down rather quickly with how vicious it was. Angeal actually felt his hackles raise with it, body tensing as if he was readying himself to jump in front of his lover if the situation called for it.
Zack didn’t jump across the table like he so obviously wanted to though, merely gritting his teeth and giving a stiff nod. Genesis nodded back, looking far more forgiving than he usually would have as he sighed softly.
“Zachary, I hope you’re not being all possessive over the boy when you were the one that shot him down when he confessed to you not too long ago.”
Said man let out a sigh of his own, slumping in his chair and letting all the tension drain out of him. He just looked defeated now, so sad and forlorn that it looked like his hair was also drooping with the weight.
“I know I just- I finally figured myself out and I was planning on apologising and confessing with this whole plan I had. But I overheard one of the third classes talking about a date he had with Cloud and I chickened out. Got too scared I’d missed my chance and angry at myself for being so stupid.”
Angeal, despite being fairly level headed and the honour bound SOLDIER he was, was actually quite out of his depth when it came to emotions. Especially so when it came to matters of the heart. But there was a reason Genesis was known as his better half.
“Well I don’t know much about your little blond or how he is with other people but I do know how he is with you. I also know the Zack Fair we know and begrudgingly love doesn’t give up at the first sign of trouble, let alone allow himself to be too scared of anything.”
Zack didn’t look as defeated anymore, looking at Genesis with glossy eyes that looked just a touch hopeful. The red head beside him looked as if he was giving a speech to his troops, inspiring them and being every bit the flamboyant, confident man Angeal had fallen hard for at 16.
“Apologise to Cloud for being too far in the closet and then carry out your stupid plan puppy. You’d be surprised how long he’s been waiting for you to realise a thing or two. Is probably still waiting if we’re being honest.”
Zack’s hair didn’t look as droopy anymore, eyes gaining that determined glint as he nodded and stood from his chair quickly, Ok!”
He ran out before either of them could get a word out, slamming their front door shut and leaving them in the ensuing silence. Angeal turned toward his partner, pride gleaming in his eyes as he smiled at the other.
“Have I ever told you just how much I love you?” Genesis scoffed, waving him off as he picked up his wine glass.
“Of course you have, we would never have gotten this far if you hadn’t. Though it wouldn’t hurt to hear it more often.”
Angeal laughed, endlessly fond and in love as he leant across to kiss his partner on the cheek. Genesis accepted it with only the barest hint of a blush, smiling into his wine as he averted his eyes.

“Cloud-”
Said man shot him a small smile, something that would have fooled anyone else into thinking he was fine, but not Zack.
“It’s fine Zack. You and Aerith look amazing together, and I’m sure one day. She’ll look great standing at the altar with you.”
Zack opened his mouth, maybe to protest or maybe to try and comfort the other but nothing came out. Nothing came out and Zack felt like his world was ending with the tears shining in the other’s eyes, pained smile plastered on his face all the while.
“Sorry. For putting you through all this. Tell your parents sorry for me as well yeah?”
Zack felt like he couldn’t move when the blond tip toed, kissing his cheek chastely before moving away. He didn’t get to do much else before Cloud was walking away, suit jacket forgotten on the nearby table, wedding ring glinting in the sunlight on top.

An AU where trooper Cloud found a homeless Denzel and took him in. Zack doesn’t know about the kid, nobody does quite frankly, and Cloud passes off his need to live outside of the company as a mental thing.
Zack only finds out about any of it cause he comes across Denzel, out after dark and utterly lost, on one of his patrols. He takes the kid home, knocking on the door and halfway through a lecture before the door’s opening abruptly.
Cloud’s standing there, phone held up to his ear with a jacket half on, ridiculous hair pinned back with some hair clips and an absolutely frantic look in his eyes. He barely spares Zack a glance before his gaze is locking onto a guilty Denzel, relief becoming palpably obvious as he hangs up the phone and swoops in to pull the kid into a hug.
Denzel stiffens for a moment before he’s sagging, shoulders hitching as he quietly begins to cry and grips onto Cloud like the blond could disappear at any moment.
Cloud is much the same, arms tight around the kid as he whispers quiet reassurances, taking a deep breath every now and then like he’s trying to hold back his own tears.
Zack feels like he’s intruding, gaze averting as he scratches at the back of his neck. He considers just leaving the two but he accidentally catches Cloud gaze, the younger giving him a grateful look as he stands, picking Denzel up near effortlessly.

Dom can smell how pleased he is before he even looks over, and when he does the absolutely feral grin on the blonds face is enough to pull loud laughter from him.
He’d always thought the blond was good looking with his blue eyes and surfer blond hair. But seeing him behind the wheel, smile wide and feral and scent turning almost over ripe with how pleased he is with himself. Dom can’t take his eyes off of him. Thinks he looks fucking stunning behind that wheel, and he can see why he’d be so adamant on being a driver. It suits him.
He thinks he wouldn’t mind having the omega on his team. Especially if he can drive like this and looks damn fucking fine while he’s at it. There’s not even a slip in his smell when Tran pulls up on them, only a slight drop to his features before he’s following along.
Even the walk back to the house the omega is still viscerally pleased, though Dom can’t quite tell what he’s pleased about anymore. Only knows that he’s enjoying the scent of ripe peaches and sea salt a little too much and walks just a touch closer then he probably should.

What if it was 17 that died?? Or at least went to confront Marshall that is.
18 is so pissed off about it though. Is absolutely raging that of all the times for that shit head to grow some balls it’s right at the moment he’s decided he doesn’t really wanna live anymore.
He was all too ready to die now. Fully prepared to sacrifice himself for the greater good or whatever and this dimwitted little shit decided now was the time he had to be brave and go take on Marshall. Well not on 18’s watch! He wasn’t gonna go be a hero and leave 18 after all the complaining and whining he’d done to stay alive. Nah uh!

This wouldn’t happen considering what we saw Nasha do in the movie but go with me here. What if! Nasha decides she likes 18 more, likes his confidence and the fearlessness this Mickey holds. Likes how he matches her crazy and is just as possessive over her as she is him.
So she decides she’s done with 17, doesn’t want anything to do with him anymore. 17 is heartbroken of course, never thought Nasha would actually choose a version of him that she liked more. He knew she didn’t necessarily like all his versions, but they had died before he found out about it.
Not this time though. He was still and alive and well. Still able to feel the heartache of being dumped and rejected by his soulmate. Or what he thought to be his soulmate.

The creepers only trusting Mickey cause he’s a soft soul. They can tell from the way he interacts with them. How he talks to them and acts around them. They can tell he would never pose a threat to them, even if his own life is under threat.
It helps that he proved that already. Had come up to them to try and save them when he had a bomb strapped to his chest. Went and saved one of their own before bringing him back. The other one had helped too but he wasn’t as soft as their one.
They could see the difference between them easily and while they appreciated what the other had done, they probably wouldn’t have trusted him as much as this Mickey.
