She is, the only Imperial, the only one in the correct colors and the only one who got her mum's Koi! She is literally perfection.

Hatchery owners...please don't do this...

If you're going to sell dragons, you have to be okay with people exalting them.

I won't begrudge anyone who blocks or blacklists folks who are obviously abusing their cheap/free hatchery as a personal fodder farm, but to check in with dragons later to make sure they're not exalted? Come on now.

What if I adopted a dragon, kept it for a while, then traded it to someone else who then exalted it? All you know is the dragon was bought by me and is now exalted. Should I be punished for not keeping the dragon indefinitely? Really?

Most hatchery dragons end up with the gods. It's just the name of the game. You gotta be okay with that.

it always makes me so excited when people buy dragons from my hatchery to use them in their OWN hatchery like yes!!! join me!!! experience the joy of breeding pretty dragons!!! i hope yours sells just as much as mine!!!

i dont mind at all if they just use them to make identical pairs, i don't own like. the copywrite. on specific gene and color and breed combos lol. And hey! now they have different eye colors! hell yeah! give people OPTIONS!

but it makes me SO excited to see them get REGENED! like yes yes YES show me how YOU would gene this color scheme!! show me YOUR creativity!!

idk!! it makes me so happy!! sugar sugar sugar sugar to hatcheries that buy from other hatcheries!!! it brings me so much barely contained joy when i open up my hatchery, scroll past my sold dragons list, and see how many of them have been changed to be part of their own pair!

the other day i scrolled past them and saw one of my newly bought hatchies had been turned into a coatl with cry/fac!! like wow!! you liked my guy's colors that much! it took me MONTHS to breed the colors i wanted for that pair! and the word paid off because someone LIKED THE COLORS ENOUGH TO SPEND SO MANY GEMS ON HIM!!

and the JOY that i GET when someone buys like an imp or something, some other popular breed, and it gets turned into a BOGGY i fucking LOVE boggies

I gnawed at my enclosure and I seriously HATED this advice but it’s so true: price your dragons at 15kt. You WILL sell. Just have trust. It WILL happen.

There is this player who is so damn entitled when asking to buy a dragon from hatcheries.

"Gems for" picture of the dragon.

Is all they used to ask for a dragon.

"Discounts for this" another picture of the dragon.

Like, hatchery owner are people who use a lot of their freetime to create breeding pairs, organise nest rentals and run a hatchery. Do you know how long it takes me to create the code for a hatchery drop like today with over 30 kids?

I swear every sales interaction I had with them, or saw happening in other hatchery threads seemed like they see other players like retail employees just here to got them what they want.

PSA: You shouldn't treat people in retail like this and you sure as hell shouldn't treat people on the dragon website like this!!!!

So since I’ve started getting serious about this whole “I’m going to open a hatchery” thing, I thought I should make an interest check for some pairs that I’ve had lurking in my scries. Even though this project has ballooned far past just a hatchery at this point, I thought it would still be nice to have two (maybe three) opening day pairs. (The first one being Grim Gold Ghosts with Chrysus and Xipe.)

I plan to make all of these pairs at some point, but will be focusing on them in poll order.
