Are you asking this in relation to the last paparazzi walk or in general😅🤣? I think that time in this fandom may give me another perspective because the only feeling I have is "I've seen this movie before." I think Sam (and Cait's) actions have no impact beyond the Outlander bubble. The fans who care about them are Outlander fans, to the general public they are unknown, at most "that actor/actress who played that character x in that filme Y". None of the people outside that bubble care if he's seen with anyone. A person outside the bubble who looks at that photo, even knowing the girl's profession, won't see anything unusual, because for that person, Sam is just a single guy who is an actor and doesn't have to live according to anyone beliefs. Mind you, he was not seen on the street beating a woman, an animal, or a child. He was not photographed or filmed committing any crime. Coldly analyzing (from outside the bubble) what you see in these articles is a single guy (that's what you find about him on social media) walking hand in hand down the street with a woman. The woman's profession would be no one's business. Those outside the bubble won't even bother to research, and even if critics, directors, and bosses in general do research or know that she works as an escort, this won't be considered a scandal. Firstly because (publicly) he is single and being single if he wants to have a serious relationship with her (regardless of her profession) is not a crime and it would be considered prejudice and puritanism to boycott someone for that. And secondly, because we are talking about the world of entertainment and let's be realistic: it is a sexist world, dominated by men and where married men involved in cheating scandals, continue to work and earn loads of money and the excuse they use is "that's his private life, not his professional life." I know the impact of these things on the fandom is huge, but it's always just here. Remember Hawaiigate? Even something so serious that it had to be handled with him making public statements (and her distracting the fandom) didn't have a big impact on his business or his career. The only impact it made was some fans who stopped following and supporting him, but those numbers were replaced in the following months by new fans and look at the numbers today.

I've said many times that I don't idolize them both and I don't expect them to make choices based on what I believe. I've also said a thousand times that I think their choices regarding this circus are terrible. But it doesn't impact me emotionally like it impacts some people in the fandom in general (on all sides). My advice is always the same: if it's causing you pain, if it's too much for you to bear, if it affects your real life, walk away. This is just a fandom. It's not your job, your family. Even the circles of friends you make in a fandom (the real friendships) can be maintained if you decide to leave. Just remember to respect the friends that remain, not to think of yourself as superior because you "found the light" and decided to leave, and friendships can continue beautifully.

As for me, so far, all their bad choices only contribute more and more to what I believe. That's why I'm here with my popcorn in hand, always waiting for the next show and remembering that the only actions and reactions I can control are my own. And, that's OK.

Funny there was no photo of the "famous Sam Heughan" (by Backgrid), published in Just Jared, People... this time, huh?! A non-public event like this (sure! 😜)... London streets seem to be a greater danger for Sam... 😜🤣 However I imagine this woman would charge more ($$$$$$$...) to be compared to an escort, right?! "Another mystery woman"?! What do you think of S saying he hasn’t visited US for almost 2 years in an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek? What happened to Hawaii last year? What happened to Mexico and LA just recently? Now extreme shippers are thrilled they have been right all along that all those sightings were staged to cover SC marriage and babies.

Anon, it seemed to me that Sam started to answer specifically to not being in New York in awhile (that's where the Bloomberg interview took place) and then he said the US. I think he was just making "interview chit chat" and not paying attention to specific dates. And also because the Covid-19 pandemic seems to have gone on for SO long, it may feel like 2 years to him, when in reality, the last time he was in NY was right before the pandemic. 👇

Then the pandemic hit and he isolated in Hawaii with Gia Marie (search G, GiaMarie, and GiaSam for all the proof)

Hawaii IS one of the 50 United States, but maybe Sam forgot since it's an island in the middle of the Pacific, and not part of the continental United States. Or he didn't want to mention it given all the hate and threats he got after Hawaiigate.

After Hawaii, Sam went back to the UK, for a long time, and then yes, he went to Mexico...which the US has not been part of since 1848 (Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, anyone? Not sure why you threw Mexico in there, Anon). And then, Sam did go to L.A. and other parts of the US, but that wasn't until months and months in the UK.

Who knows what he was thinking, I don't think he was paying attention to exact dates. As for Extreme Shippers using Sam saying that as proof that there's been a baby cover up. How does that even make sense? What kind of dad would Sam be that he would agree to go on "staged trips" so people wouldn't know he and Cait had a baby? That would make him a bad dad. And also, there is NO WAY in hell that the indomitable Caitriona Balfe would ever allow that. Wouldn't the leads of the show about an epic couple having a baby together in real life SELL Outlander even more? There would be NO reason to hide that. It doesn't make sense because it's NOT TRUE.

But none of that matters, Anon, because TODAY at Wizard World in Chicago, Sam himself said that he hasn't seen Cait or her baby yet (at the 30 minute mark). 👇

There are only two choices: Sam is telling the truth and this means he's not with Cait romantically, therefore not the father of her baby, therefore hasn't seen them yet. OR Sam is a terrible dad who is willing to leave his kid and the mother of his kid to travel all over the place to hide the truth from fans for reasons so convoluted they are literally making my brain hurt right now.

I gotta go lie down. This fucking fandom is exhausting.

Seems Sam’s pandemic behaviour in Hawaii is the hot topic again. It’s not going away. Nor is his embarrassing 4 pg pity-party letter in response to the criticism.

This is a fave topic for those women who loathe him. The Covid Saints do gooders who buy into the narrative hook line and sinker. Hawaiigate was certainly not the best strategy for Sam and neither was that ridiculous pity victim letter. It was a weak move. I think it nicked the edges of his good reputation. The pity letter did gain some SM traction though and therefore it kept his name in peoples minds. Hawaigatte was a cheap maneuver and a poor choice of distraction,for what was really going on in SC's life at that time IMO.

A ‘crazy shipper’ question for the OG’s

I’m pretty new to Tumblr.. and don’t want dwell on the negatives like HI or Sh*tn*r etc.. but I noticed, even as a newb on Twitter that everyone always says the craziness and SM attacks come from the shippers, that WE are the stalkers etc. This makes no sense... if you are a shipper Hawaiigate wouldn’t be upsetting because you’d assume it was part of the narrative and SC were together. WE don’t hate Sam and even if some of us might be more Sam-centric, we would never speak badly of the love of his life.. or threaten them or their family. Cait only’s HATE Sam.. WE don’t!! Sam only’s want to f**k Sam and get jealous of ‘the blonds’ (some of us (me) might wish we could in our dreams) but WE know he’s happily married. My question.. WHY are shippers the fandom’s scapegoats??? Did something happen in the early years with a ‘crazy-stalker-shipper’?? Hoping someone can enlighten me. Am I crazy??

This has been a difficult post to prepare. After much thought, I wish to share some very interesting information. Some know from my recent post, I went to Ozlander in Melbourne, Australia on March 14 & 15, 2020, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Richard and Sophie. As a premium ticket holder, I enjoyed lunch with them on both days. They would individually spend 5 minutes or so at each table and rotate through the tables to meet the fans. At the event introduction on Day One, we were asked to respect Richard and Sophie by not asking questions of a personal nature, which naturally, everyone understood. Therefore, I wasn’t going to ask anything about Sam, Cait, or even Tony. So, I was more than surprised when Sophie briefly mentioned Cait’s wedding!

  Sophie visited our table and we talked about a number of things. It was Sophie’s first trip to Australia; Caitriona had been here and had told Sophie how nice it was. Someone asked Sophie, 'You went to Caitriona’s wedding, didn’t you?'

  'Yeah, Caitriona’s husband is a lovely guy.' (Did she just say that, I thought?)

  I asked Sophie, 'You and Sam were the only cast members that went?'

  And she replied, 'No, Tobias was there as well.' Interesting.

  Sophie then added she took the photo of Sam in the Dunhill suit (remarkable weekend).

  'The background had to be photoshopped as we couldn’t give away the location. It got onto social media and Caitriona wasn’t that pleased about it,' Sophie said a little ruefully. (Sam had posted the photo on IG. The right-side background looks very photoshopped.)

  During a photo session on Day Two, I asked Sophie, 'Did Caitriona marry Tony?' with the emphasis on the word Tony.

 'Yeah,' she said with a smile.

 'Really?' I asked.

 'Yes. Really,' Sophie said.

 Then I said, 'Well she doesn’t say his name and hasn’t released any photos so...'

 'I don’t know...,' Sophie said pleasantly enough. Wow!! Being so busy and so involved with OL for so long, I don’t think she fully appreciated how all the Tait secrecy is being perceived in the fandom.

Okay, a photo or some sort of evidence or it didn't happen. This info from Sophie was really unexpected. What sort of proof would be acceptable and not immediately suspected anyway? Nevertheless, I believe I have the evidence I need to satisfy myself. Someone else who was at the same Day One table, has confirmed to me in writing (I contacted her a week or so after the event) she heard Sophie say all this as well. I don’t think my acquaintance follows the ins and outs of the SC/Tait drama. I don’t think most of the people at Ozlander did from conversations I had and the general talk I heard. So, my witness doesn’t have a vested interest in The Narrative and, I believe, just gave a purely objective confirmation.

If I had heard Sophie say Cait married Sam, you would probably believe it, put this info in the receipt warehouse, and any evidence would be a bonus. I have been wanting truth no matter what it is. I’ll just deal with it. While it’s greatly disappointing, I do wish Cait and Sam happiness in life whomever they find it with.

I discovered OL 18 months ago and have only been active on Tumblr for 8 months. So, I am still a newb of sorts. Some might say a naïve babe in the woods with not much to lose. However, I’ve met some wonderful people on this side of the fence and I will probably lose friendships and reputation, be unfollowed and blocked, receive a lot of vitriol, be called a troll working for (fill in the blank), etc., due to this heresy. So, my info does come at a price for me. I understand I have not experienced years of surviving on this side of the fence, enduring the delusional tag and the attacks and insults from antis, NST, TPTB, Shamuso, and even some from Sam and Cait, and being thrown under the bus when convenient. I get, in principle, some shippers will close ranks and support any higher-profile shippers who don’t believe me. I anticipate this will be the response. One way to discredit information is to discredit the person presenting it, and I assume this tactic will be employed as well.

So why am I putting my head on the chopping block? Notoriety? Hardly. Well, as I said, I want intel even if it conflicts with what I hope for. I believe people can ship the way they want (within reason) and as KDS infamously said, believe what you want. I don’t wish to convince anybody, nor get into a slanging match with anyone. It would be pointless really. I feel obligated out of principle to reveal the info and not hide it no matter how controversial and inconvenient that might be. I understand some may not think it a good time in the fandom right now to deal with this but I didn’t want the info dating too much before putting it on the table. I understand and I am sorry. But is there an optimal time to hear this?

People like I, who want to know what is going on or had suspicions, and are prepared to accept this information, will welcome it. They have had enough of the mess that is happening right now in The Narrative as well. Also, I don't wish to be intimidated into keeping contrary evidence hidden just because it doesn’t suit the manifesto. And I apologise in advance to high-profile shippers who will probably be inundated with comments and asks. I accept there will be jealousy involved. Why did a newb get this intel? Believe me, I wish it didn’t happen to me; I really wish it was someone else. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

For the record, yes, I’m Australian living in Australia. I understand some people’s problem with that. Why does so much narrative controversy emanate from this place? I don’t know. I wish I knew. We often call it the lucky country (for various reasons). Do we appear have more luck than the Irish?!

However, and unfortunately, this does not provide closure for me. I accept the Tait wedding. I do have problems with the Tait marriage, sorry to say. I don’t know why games are being played. Cait still doesn’t call her husband Tony, there were no wedding or engagement photos made public, and no confirmation from her PR team when wedding articles hit the magazines. It seems like secrecy, not privacy. Why so secret? We continue to see gaslighting, innuendo, and an intentional vagueness, to keep us all engaged it seems?! And Hawaiigate is certainly a head scratcher at best.

So, in summing up, the four things I learnt about the wedding are:

1. The wedding happened.

2. Cait married Tony.

3. Tobias was there.

4. Sam posted Sophie’s remarkable Dunhill manipulated photo on IG and Cait wasn’t too happy about it.

Most shippers won’t like my saying Tait is real and most antis won’t like my saying Sam and Cait continue to play games. But that’s ok. I knew this going in. I just think it is important for the info to be put out there. I don’t wish to appear foolish, talking about a fake wedding, now that I know Cait married Tony. I think there must be other intel such as this out there. Perhaps the time is right for others to make their intel known.

I believe the four things Sophie said about the wedding. I do not have any further intel to share, nor do I have any further theories on what is happening with Sam, Cait, or Tony that haven’t been discussed on Tumblr already. With this in mind, I’m prepared to answer every constructive and civil comment I may receive on this post, including any DMs. If you wish, please look through my blog to see what I have posted. You will find it aligns with this side's thinking. You may see some names that do not. Please consider the message, not the messenger. And please, it would be appreciated if you would do some homework before making any comment. Thank you for your time in reading this long and very difficult post. I imagine, many will take some time to process it.

Fans and bloggers have experienced IFH, EFH, WFH and now Hawaiigate, as well as other annoyances. The typical emotional reactions are shock, anger, doubt, disappointment and sadness. Then we wake up a few days later and come to our senses. The remarkable weekend didn't sell that well so HI followed. Perhaps we should "just ignore," keep calm and carry on.

I really trust your opinion and you are one of the very few blogs that I follow because you always use reason and logic. I’m really torn about whether Sam is still in the US or not. If he is, that means he has been away from Cait for a few months now. It’s upsetting because how can they be a couple if he is choosing to remain in the US and not go home? I have more anons than you asking me where Sam is and I can’t know this. You get that, right? We don’t talk, Sam and I. Unfortunately. 😕 He hasn’t given away his location since the Edith Bowman fundraiser and even that was suspect as if he was not proud to be announcing that he was in Hawaii. I think he’s still feeling the burn from Hawaiigate and isn’t going to tell us where he is maybe ever again. Just kidding, but as long as this pandemic is a thing it wouldn’t surprise me if he stayed an entity in cyberspace, and really, it’s none of our business. My hunch though is that he’s home in Scotland. Having said that, why should it matter? He and Cait are in this together. If he had indeed opted to stay in the States it would have nothing to do with Miss November and everything to do with his health or his nerves about airport lineups. Again, none of our business, but be sure that he and Cait would have discussed it and agreed that that is the right decision. She came home on March 13th. That’s barely two months, much less time than military families or right now even front line workers in some cities have been away from their loved ones. I don’t believe that’s the case, but It’s doable. Relax.

 Remember when this came out and Sam was Glamour’s no. 63 in their top 100 sexiest men. Selling the Highland warrior... one who obviously dates but is not in a committed relationship or about to get married, so women feel he’s available. We don’t see this quite so much now I guess given many people are onto the Fantasy man deal. Cait of course gets a mention here so it totally supports the opinion that the ONLY woman that could EVER threaten the sexy Highland warrior image is Caitriona. It was necessary to EXCLUDE her from the equation (imo FvF career carrot) as a sister who had a remarkable ‘wedding’ that the Highland warrior attended as a guest. Cait’s out, Sam’s obsession’s safe. No brainer. What’s interesting is that Sam never used to sell this well but since his meeting at Disney with Parnell and MIK got a gig, he’s now on board publicly running any connection to Cait under a bus. He’s backing the total burial of his own identity as a partner or family man which we’ve never seen before. As I’ve mentioned a number of times whatever Sam had in the pipeline to push him to do this must he big. Not sure how he’ll be with Cait in public...now she’s a sister...but he used to continually single her out as an important person in his life. The thing is...the universe kept them on side and supported their love for the way he did that imo. You start verbalising and the universe starts hearing...just sayin Sam. Of course the fly in the ointment in all this is if Sam has some little people in his life that look like him. Man, they’d certainly have those little rascals hidden away now and God forbid if anyone’s onto that! They’d be attacked and defamed for sure! I mean, we already know SC have their barrels locked and loaded incase shit hits the fan. Sam’s bullying letter and the evidence of killer-stalker grannies intruding on them is already there for any pissed off, played, Sam obsessed women to turn their anger onto Shippers and away from them. It’s there in place all ready to go. Sam and Cait can sit back and watch the onslaught of online bullying in their name from afar. It’s not going to be pretty but we know it’s coming. And let’s face it, they needed an out and we always knew it would be us. They can’t exactly turn around and run TPTB under a bus....they needed an exit strategy ready to go. The one thing they DON’T want is for the Sam obsessed to cotton on to the game before the pigs at the trough have had their fill...that everyone is satisfied and things have been ‘worth their while’. It’s not rocket science. Pandemic or not the sexy Highland warrior needs protecting as does the ‘exit strategy’.... Interestingly articles like this are becoming increasingly harder to find...I can see why....makes the whole game pretty obvious doesn’t it? Can’t have the Sam obsessed reading too many of these now they’ve been played for 6 years. What they are counting on is for those played women to be pretty dumb and latch onto the hooks in the exit strategy provided. I hope for their sake they’re right....they’ll already have enough pain from the years of lost moments and lies to haunt them...that’s if the universe continues to be on their side...and unfortunately the truth always has a way of coming out no matter how hard anyone tries to stop it...I mean...shared trailers and all...right Matt? Right Sam?? I say just come out already and get it over with before this happens!

This post is the brutal truth.  But there is one more vector in this rocket ride from the galaxy to the garbage dump....the quality of the Series itself.  Like the “6-year lie....the show’s “real creative director” is driving the Series from “excellence” to the garbage dump as well.  Start watching the Series from Season 1 and continue through Season 5....it plunges downward from excellence to a Season 4 flop...then gives us a little blip upward in Season 5.  This downward trajectory matches identically with the lie about their private lives.  As the lie became more ridiculous with time....so did the Series.  How do the people in charge of this circus keep their jobs????  Who knows....maybe the virus will be the real killer of this misery.  But I especially like this part of the post......” Of course the fly in the ointment in all this is if Sam has some little people in his life that look like him.”

Well said, Fan A and Fan B  Since its inception, this ‘fake narrative’ has become more and more unbelievable and ridiculous.   I thought adding the ‘fauxgagement’ hit the all time low, but then add the ‘fauxmarriage’ to someone who could not swing his ‘bat’ in the direction of a woman if he wanted to.  He as well as Caitriona look like they swallowed a glass of sour milk when they are ‘forced’ to stand within 3 feet of each other.   Then add in the list of ‘hot sexy girlfriend’s’ that supposedly shared Sam’s bed and you have a runaway locomotive that’s going to soon hit a brick wall.  Sam’s calling Caitriona his ‘we are together AND we work together’ significant other to his ‘sister’ has caused this narrative to hit rock bottom.   I really don’t think it can go any lower....but then I never thought Sam would call Caitriona, the mother of his children, his ‘sister’.  I fully believe that all would have gone on as it’s always done....just beat the dead horse again and the ‘newbie’s’ will never know that it’s all a ‘shit show, UNTIL COVID19 hit the world with the Pandemic. Not only did it implode Hawaiigate, it’s now gotten into the Hollywood Hills with ‘social distancing’ guidelines. And we all know that Sex and Violence are the Hollywood $$$$$$$ makers.  Put that into Outlander language, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, who play Jamie and Claire Fraser will NOT BE ALLOWED TO TOUCH, KISS, OR HAVE HOT SMOLDERING SEX WITHIN SEASON 6.   OMG, and I thought Season 4 was bad...this will be the downfall of the series. Subscriptions with STARZ will cancel like flies on shit.  If by chance they do produce a Season 6, the ratings would plummet.  Who wants to watch Jamie and Claire have ‘fucking eye sex’, 6 feet from each other. Remember, no touching and you must wear a mask.   UNLESS, THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME TO TEAR DOWN THAT WALL OF LIES, SAVE THE SERIES, SAM AND CAITRIONA ARE MARRIED!   Because as a married couple, they can touch, kiss and have mind blowing sex within a scene....because “THEY ARE MARRIED”!    What’s it going to be Parnell? Who IMO, has his balls wedged between a vice with the prospect of losing Sony/STARZ/LG’s top ‘cash cow’...are you willing to sacrifice the Outlander, Season 6 and possibly more?   Or are you a smart businessman (cough, cough) and you and Hirsch will give your ‘ok’ to let the ‘Cait’ out of the bag and announce that Sam and Caitriona are married and have been since late 2015.  The balls in your court Parnell....and for once, use your brains instead of your mini balls to make the right decision.   I think your job and your career depend on it!

You should still be in the parking lot of what is called “Auto Clinic”. Turn right on the corner on the south side of it, and there should be a yellow pole between a wall and the gas station. Go past it, and keep walking until you get to a trailer. Now, use the “Fill Balls Meter” Cheat and press minus (-) by the trailer. You will get a certain amount of money each time you do this, depending on how high your reputation is. Keep doing this until you have the amount of money you want. (The Cheat for Balls Meter is “FPATCH”).

Maybe your problem is assuming that Sam and Cait can't be similar (although even your dear Cait said that) and not admitting how they both support each other in all these (bad) moments.

I didn't say that Sam was exemplary, but the fact is he deals with "all this shit" better than she does... Okay, Hawaiigate 2.0 wasn't his best moment, but there's no way he could have come out of it well without resorting to the role of victim. And Cait supported him and his behavior in that moment. 😜

But Cait crossed the line, gave unnecessary answers in interviews and on social media over the years... Statements that did nothing to contribute to the image of the excellent actress that she is, and encouraged people to speculate much more about her personal life. Cait did nothing to benefit herself or her family. She let her sisters and mother get involved in this circus, until it culminated in the interview fiasco with her father.

Unlike Sam, Cait has the shield of her "perfect marriage" with Tony, so why would she need to be afraid of what the "small vocal group" thinks and says about her??? To the point that she mentioned, during an Oscar campaign for Vanity Fair magazine, something silly like a comparison of bedsheets?! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Okay, I've already made fun of Tony and I think that sometimes people cross the line, but Cait herself is the one who encourages this when she publicly treats her husband so coldly. She only seems to be an interested wife (and that on a few occasions) when the camera is in their faces.

If my husband were as uncomfortable as Tony is, I would be the first person to tell him not to go to these events with me.

Supporting someone you love is not being on their side out of obligation, to merely give a good impression as a couple... Support is understanding, accepting what the other person is and respecting that. Obviously, Tony didn't want to be at several of these events over the years... And the worst part? Cait ignored him and often appeared with that unhappy face next to him. And there are people applauding this. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm a mother and something I can't agree with is the talk of the happy family justifying that they had a son together. A child should never have this responsibility, be the reason to say that a couple is happy. This is not right and it is not reality.

And who are you in Sam and Cait's lives to say that Cait doesn't need Sam's protection, or that he has to solve his problems alone?!? Are you at least one of her or his family? We don't really know anything about these two actors and we're just here speculating and guessing based on the little they show us publicly. We're in the same boat, Anon. 😉

Coincidences? Sam's selfie at his marathon a few years ago showing a brunette with bangs in the background was only one of many imo. Did you ever notice how many times a tall slim brunette sporting a bob appears in the background of photos of Sam? This mysterious person has appeared where Sam works, walks, does sports, socializes, travels etc. And if you can't hear her you can hear her at times. This phenomenon .has become more subtle since Aug 2019 but it is still there.

You're 100% right Anon. Wherever Sam is, Cait is. And if it isn't apparant or it appears contrary then it's because they have fiddled with timelines on SM such as latergrams or created bogus bullshit and diversions such as Hawaiigate. The evidence is there for people who have their eyes and ears peeled.

Hey mama, I hope you're well and healthy and keeping safe. ;-) My take on the hawaiigate - Hawaii is being shoved relentlessly down the fandom's throat - doesn't that make everyone suspicious? It's almost like a religious rant, if it's drummed into everyone's consciousness often enough, eventually it would be accepted as gospel truth. Just saying, mama. Yours truly, noanimosity.

Not shoving so much anymore unless you’re clicking where you shouldn’t be.  Now it feels like Hawaii is lurking while Sam’s people are screaming “That’s Not Who He Is!”  It’s eyeroll worthy though, like reading a book with some of the pages torn out.  Corona removed the part of the script that covered from the weekend of the 8th to after Paley on the 19th, so we got ‘boy meets girl’ and jumped straight to a romantic getaway in Paradise.  But it just doesn’t flow without the middle part where he’s seen with her at a work event and he lovingly guides her down the street after a nasty shin bruising accident.  Now it just looks like Sam lives in Hawaii now and spends his spare time baking cakes and working out shirtless.  It’s been two weeks, long enough for any quarantine or vacation to be over. It’ll be interesting to see what they’ve planned for the alternate ending.  Personally, I would have thrown away the book, but what do I know?
