Black x white coords with eternal_frill and akabane.aiko 🖤🤍 Bonnet, rectangle headdress and headbow, the basic headwear of lolitas!

We went for a little tea outing and thought matching colour scheme would be cute. I basically never wear black & white style but had been holding on to this old velveteen BtSSB JSK (I think from 2001), PLUS apparently hoarding matching B✖︎W accessories for it, so now was the time.

Because I think this is a departure from what I usually wear I felt a little different, too! The skirt of the JSK is pretty narrow compared to modern lolita standards and a little shorter too, so somehow I felt it didn't stick out as much. The side ribbons are of course the type you have to keep tying yourself, so forgive the dangly strands.

I'm pretty sure the majority of the items we are all wearing are Baby, the Stars Shine Bright. My coord is all BABY except for the plush bag (Metamorphose Temps de Fille), the shoes (Queen Bee), and my jacket (Innocent World).

Kamikaze Girls is one of my favorite movies of all time i love everything about it i love Momoko (rural lolita representation) i love her arrogant self i love Ichiko and the way she speaks and carries herself i love the fact that ISOBE ACTED IN IT 😭😭😭 the way Momoko's outlook in life reflected her fashion choices and ooohhh my god the wardrobe for her was impeccable like?? Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Jane Maple???? i love it so much

A lot of pieces used in the movie have become iconic old school staples, like the Elizabeth OP, Heart Apron, rocking horse shoes, rectangular headdresses, the Hawase Doll OP and the iconic rose embroidery JSK

They clearly knew how to dress her (Isobe, the creator of BTSSB worked in it)

Momoko's room and the Vers*che room are so nicely decorated and oh my god i've always wanted to go to a restaurant similar to the one they go

They're very few movies that i hold so close to my heart like this one & i never get tired of rewatching it

I started wearing lolita in 2015 and I've had quite a few baby the stars shine bright items, but I've always been a second hand girly.

This is my very first time purchasing something through the btssb website. The moment I saw on twitter that they were releasing these two little demon usakumya, I fell in love with them.

I'm so happy I'm finally able to build my dream wardrobe (the hawase doll I'm wearing was purchased less than a month ago)
