when i saw matt and johnny's video response to the question about favorite scene, i thought about my fav scene. and for sure it’s almost impossible to choose bc there’re so many good scenes, but my thoughts immediately went to the hospital scene from ep8 and “better?”. it literally made me hold my breath bc the fact that tim asked him to stay, the way he smiled with his eyes when he found himself in hawk’s hands. the way he needed it despite everything. hawk’s “i’m here. i’ve got you” and the fact that after all the years of pushing tim away, he held him. there’s no need for declarations of love, because all the heaviness recedes for that one moment when they can simply feel each other's warmth again.

we truly don't appreciate how good scarlet was when it came to names. pyrite being named after something that's known as fool's gold? ingenious. just the name peril? very badass. vermilion being a shade of red like scarlet? ruby also being a shade of red?? ruby also being a gemstone, which is what tourmaline is??? literally so iconic.
