Introducing my fraternity friends with a thing they did:

Alex:

had to zoom into our fraternity elections because he was too busy fucking some guy.

Sattwik:

has all of our live locations on his phone and stalks us throughout the day. One time I was late to a party and Sattwik saw I was at my smoke spot and then proceeded to announce to the entire party that I would be showing up high.

Marlo:

had her phone stolen last month and had to walk around with a flip phone for a while. This was much to Sattwik’s annoyance as he could no longer stalk her location. She now has a burner phone like a drug dealer.

Daria:

once hit a 24 in 24 (fucking 24 times in 24 hours) and she says only the last 8 or so were for the sake of the streak. The first 16 happened organically.

Matthew:

brought a gallon of milk to my 21st birthday party and spent all night drinking it. He went home sober. That wasn’t even his first time drinking nothing but milk at a college party. In fact his Denny’s order is boneless wings and a glass of milk.

Eve:

At a past Denny’s hangout, Matthew was eating a dish with sausages. He went to the bathroom to return to one his sausages missing. He was convinced it was Eve. Eve has taken it upon herself to psychologically torture Matthew by telling other people she’d eaten his sausage, but as soon as he shows up, she denies it with her entire being. This has driven Matthew to the point of absolute madness and he went to the extent of secretly acquiring a recording of Eve admitting to the sausage theft. I genuinely have no idea whether she took the sausage or not.

Blake:

lost his virginity by being invited by a girl he barely knew to cuck her boyfriend.

Im not sure what your first question means, but I can tell you that the answer to second question is yes and no.

Basically, they're not their mortal parents in the way sally is percy's mortal parent, or fredrick is annabeth's, but they are mortal, and they are their parents, in all ways but biological

The original 8 have lived in a group home/foster home for as long as they can remember, up until it burns down and they have to resort to surviving on their own- which only lasts a few weeks at most before fit* gets a message from an anonymous contact and finds where they were hiding.

Then suddenly before they know it everyone in the investigation group (with the exception of bbh for the marriage part) is suddenly legally married to another person in the group and is legally the adoptive parent of one of the 8 kids

Tallulah actually lives on the streets, with only her flute and her red beanie- her musical talent makes people give up quite a bit of spare change. She actually finds the 8 and tries to join them but by the time she finds where they were hiding they're already gone (aka, in the care of the parents). Wilbur, who is decidedly not clearsighted, finds her and takes her in until he has to leave for his tour at which he leaves her with phil (who realises she's a halfblood almost immediately)

Richarlyson doesn't remember a lot, but he's scrappy- he uses the 8's old hiding spot for shelter, until a strange hunch leads him right into a meeting between the group and 5 brazilian clearsighted people who they got in contact with

Pomme is not as scrappy, but she can fight. She manages to fend off monsters on her own for a while, and mike finds her and immediately calls everyone (based on the fact that mike was the first to realise the way inside the place pomme was in)(before everyone immediately followed)

They find empanada, sunny and pepito months later. Their situation is a hybrid between luke thalia & annabeth and jason- they were trained by lupa together, but instead of finding camp jupiter they survived on their own for like a year until they were taken in by the adults

If this all seems too weirdly convenient to be a coincidence, that's because it isn't :▪︎]

*I chose fit because of his lore, even though this has little to do with the way his actual contractor lore works. Honestly quackity would fit better but I can do whatever I want forever so fit gets the message
