got a terrible headache today and just want some comfort from ted :(
Oh goodness, this came at a good time. But by now your headache has hopefully passed. But I'm fighting a nasty one today. So let's see how Ted can help. Let's gooo!
---
Relationship: Ted Lasso x reader
Warnings: None, all comfort
---
You winced at the fluorescent lights in the club. The hallways, while dimly painted, were still bright. And this headache didn't come to play around.
As you passed your boyfriend Ted in the hallway, he could see the pain etched on your face, the way your fingers rubbed one temple.
"Darlin'?" he asked, turning around to catch you.
You looked at him, one eye winked shut from the pain.
"Can I get ya anything?" he asked worriedly, his eyebrows bunched together. You shook your head.
"Naw, that's OK, sweetheart. I'm just heading to my office to take a breather."
Ted looked down the hallway, saw Beard who saluted him to give him the go-ahead to follow you and help.
You turned the lights off in your office and sat on your loveseat, rubbing your head and groaning. Ted slipped in the door and sat next to you, putting his arm around you.
"C'mere, darlin'," he coaxed quietly, laying your head against his chest while he ran his fingers through your hair softly.
He rubbed your neck a little, feeling the stiffness there, where you carry all your stress. With that, Ted had you turn your body so he could rub your shoulders and neck a little easier, letting your head fall backward on his chest a little.
"Oh sweetheart," he cooed. "I'm so sorry you don't feel good."
You nodded. "Just...stress..."
Ted hummed.
"How 'bout, we go home tonight -- my place. I'll cook ya a nice dinner, and we can curl up and watch some movies and just relax. I'll rub your feet for ya, draw you a bath, whatever would help."
You smile, he's always one or two or ten steps ahead with a plan to make things better.
"That sounds nice, Ted, but you don't have to go to all that trouble," you add, placing your hand over his on your shoulder. He kisses your ear and smiles, his mustache tickling the skin.
"It ain't trouble if it makes ya feel better, sugar," he answers quietly. "C'mon, grab your stuff. The day's almost over and ain't got much more to do. We'll call it and head off to Ted's Relaxation Experience."
You smile as you stand, grabbing your bag.
...
Ted did everything he said he would do. You wore cozy clothes, ate cozy food, and watched cozy movies. A slightly higher dose of pain relievers and you were feeling better.
"You're a good doctor, Ted," you complimented, looking up at his big eyes from his chest. "Thank you."
Ted leaned down and kissed your lips. "I'm just glad you're back to feelin' better..."
You marvel at your boyfriend. Taking such good care of you. Such a comfort.
"I love you, Ted," you offer, saying those three little words for the first time. It never felt more right. His heart skips a beat.
"I love you, too, darlin'."
---
Mmmm, Ted would be the ultimate comfort when you're sick, don't feel good, feel low, etc. And he knows you'd do it for him! Because he deserves it too. Thanks for this prompt, friend. Hope you're feeling better!

Idk if you're taking requests at the moment but the way you write for Ted is amazing and I'm stuck in bed feeling like death because I've got the most brutal sinus infection rn. I was hoping you might write something about Ted helping his partner feel better when they're sick or in pain. Be it joint pain, headache, cramps, flu whatever strikes your fancy. Thank you xx
🐝
AN: Omg this is the biggest compliment and I will always take requests when I think I can do them justice! Luckily I ADORE sickfic (and I’m sorry you feel awful!), hope this cheers you up and please forgive any typos!

It was Sunday morning which you knew was Ted’s absolute favorite time of day. You’d only been living together for a few weeks but you’d already grown accustomed to the sunlight streaming in through the windows and the sound of Ted’s “Easy Like Sunday Morning” playlist drifting in from the kitchen as he made pancakes or french toast or any other complicated breakfast recipe he’d saved during the week.
But this Sunday morning wasn’t just any Sunday morning, as Ted had been reminding you all week. This Sunday, Ted had planned a full day of fun for the two of you. It had been in the works since the day you moved in.
“I don’t want us shackin’ up to mean we stop lovin’ on each other,” Ted had explained when he laid out his plans over dinner at the Crown & Anchor. “I’ll block out the day and we’ll do some stuff we always planned on ‘round London-town!”
You smiled at his enthusiasm, “We’ll never stop loving on each other just because we live together. In fact, I think we might be insufferable.” Ted laughed and brought the back of your hand up to his lips for a gentle kiss.
And now that your jam-packed Sunday had been planned, tickets had been purchased, and dinner reservations made, you sat up in the warm, morning light of you and Ted’s shared bedroom…and you felt like garbage.
You felt like more than garbage, actually. You were shivery, your eyes burned, and your head felt like someone was driving nails into it.
“Fuck,” you whispered, trying foolishly to rub sleep and sickness from your eyes. There was no way you were missing out on the day Ted had planned so thoughtfully. You’d just have to fake it.
Ted must have heard you rustling because no sooner had you decided you’d just power through, Ted was tapping on the door and bringing you a cup of coffee.
“Mornin’ sunshine!” Ted was still in his pajamas, hadn’t yet combed through his bed head and he looked soft and rumpled and perfect. You smiled and accepted the coffee, sipping quickly to hide the fact that you felt terrible. Ted sat near your feet, one hand resting lightly on your knee as he looked at you.
“So, I made cranberry orange muffins so we have some breakfast we can take with us on the road. I’m thinkin’ we can hop in the shower, and then…” Ted paused mid sentence and tilted his head at you, his gaze analytical. You went to take another sip of your coffee and realized at the same moment that he did that your hand was shaking. “Orrrr we could tuck you back into bed and have Sunday Funday another time.”
“What?! No, why would we do that,” you sat the coffee aside and made to get out of bed, but Ted quickly put a hand over yours to keep you under the blanket.
“Honey, are you going to look me in my eyes and tell me that you’re not sick? Because I can see it all over you.”
You sighed, dropping your face in your hands. “I’m not THAT sick. I…don’t feel great. But you went through all that work for Sunday Funday, I can rally.”
Ted smiled at you before standing up and walking around to his side of the bed, sliding under the covers. “Baby, I’d plan a million Sunday Fundays and lose money on it a million times before I let you do anythin’ but rest when you don’t feel well.”  Ted wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you back down into the bed and against his chest. “Now, tell me what’s hurtin’?”
You groaned and shut your eyes, relishing in your boyfriend’s warmth. “What doesn’t? I’m cold and hot at the same time, my head aches, my eyes burn. I just feel like shit.”
Ted chuckled, not unkindly. “And you thought you were gonna rally? I love you so much that you thought ya should, but jeez baby.” Ted kissed the back of your neck. “You get some rest and I’ll go get you some para-whos-a-whatsit—”
“Paracetamol,” you laughed.
“Right, that. And some water and crackers, and we’ll hole up here and maybe watch some movies if you’re feelin’ up to it later.”
Ted moved to get up, but you grabbed him quickly by the wrist. “Wait! Wait, don’t… don’t go just yet. I’m sorry to be clingy—”
“Hey, hey, look at me.” You rolled over, and looked at Ted who brushed his knuckles gently over your cheekbone. “You don’t owe me a single sorry for wantin’ me around when you’re not feelin’ well. I’ll take care of sick-you every day of the week as long as it means ya ain’t sick o’ me.”
You smiled, tucking your face into his neck. “Never. I’ll never be sick of you, Ted.”
You didn’t know how long you slept but when you woke up again, Ted was sitting next to you, reading a book and stroking a hand through your hair, and there was paracetamol and water on your nightstand. An extra blanket was thrown over your shoulders, and a cool towel was on your forehead.
You sat up slowly and took your medicine, and Ted immediately sat his book down, tugging you gently into his lap and kissing your temple.
“How ya feelin’ darlin’? Anything I can do for you?”
“Oh, you’ve done plenty, my love. I’m definitely feeling better. Not good enough to make it to any of our plans, but maybe good enough to shower and move this sick day to the couch for a movie?”
Ted grinned. “Well alright! That’s definitely an improvement. I’ll go get it set up while you hop in the shower. I’m thinking popcorn and maybe a little soup for you? Get somethin’ on your stomach?”
You were already heading into the bathroom but you turned quickly, a mischievous look in your eye. “I see your soup and raise you one of those cranberry orange muffins you made this morning.”
“Are you trying to bargain out of your sick food?!” Ted laughed with faux offense and you grinned.
“Are you going to tell me no?”
Ted shook his head with a smirk and kissed you briefly on the lips, “Never.”

Roy wakes up with a splitting headache and a few years of memories missing, which is bad enough. Worse is that everyone is withholding information from him because they're all loyal to Future Roy. All that means is that Present Roy is getting fed up not knowing who it is that he's dating and why it is no one will just tell him.
Chapter 1/3, in which I physically hurt Roy, emotionally hurt Jamie, and promise that the comfort (such as it is) is coming.

Another noise, this time more of a hostile rumble. “Because I said I would pick up Phoebe after work.”
“...Oh.”
“And I keep having shit come up where I can’t pick her up, but I don’t want her to get sick,” he continues, aggressively putting his boots on, one half of his leather jacket hanging off. “‘Cause my sister will kill me if I do and then that’ll be a whole other fucking headache. So now I have to find someone to watch her while I’m with Keeley, fuckin fuck’—”
“Well, why don’t I jus’ pick ‘er up?”
He doesn’t know why he offers. His mouth works faster than his brain and is apparently insane.
 or,
jamie is having a rough time and what better way to help that than to babysit his previous rival's niece!

Every night is kind of the same.
Tonight I made a valiant effort to eat a whole pound of edamame for dinner with two glasses of water
Watched Ted Lasso and cried at Keely and Roy’s relationship
Played trivia by myself on one of my discord servers
Nursed a headache because I think I didn’t drink enough water today
Booped Shane’s nose and gave her pets
Moved from couch to floor to bed to chair chasing a place to be comfortable
I’m going to head to bed soon trying to find a good night of sleep
I keep searching for something that feels like satisfaction
Haven’t found it yet
I keep thinking of this Cassia Eller song Malandragem
One line in a list of mundane daily things
Mudo uma planta de lugar
The line I should learn is
Eu sou poeta e não aprendi a amar
It’s not very different from when you were here actually

ted lasso fic. ted/rebecca. rating: e. 3400 words.
love is a scene i render when you catch me wide awake
It’s been a long day. A long week, if he’s honest—Zoreaux and Richard are fighting, Michelle is being cagey about when he’ll get to see Henry, Keeley keeps trying to get him to do more PR he isn’t quite comfortable with, and Rebecca has been acting strangely.
Not bad strange, and he understands this thing between them is relatively new, only a few months in, and that she’s still adjusting. They’re both still adjusting, still learning how to communicate, how to keep work as separate as it can be, how to be whole people outside of their relationship as well as within it. He thinks, for two divorcees with a truckload of baggage each, they’re doing a pretty good job—but there are little things:
Rebecca has been spending more time at his place, keeps demurring when he suggests spending the night at hers. He’s walked into her office more than once lately, only for her to shove something in her desk drawer or slam her laptop closed with a too-bright smile. She hasn’t said anything’s wrong, and when they’re together, nothing is—they order take away and watch movies and talk about the team and anything but the team; they fall into bed and her kisses, even still, are like shocks—the way she holds him, touches him, tells him what she isn’t saying, what she isn’t quite ready to voice.
He’s in no rush. Isn’t quite ready to say how he feels either, and hopes that he’s been showing her well enough with biscuits and home cooked meals and little gifts and kisses.
He loves kissing Rebecca. Loves the way she leans into him, loves brief kisses in the morning, when her lips curl against his in a sleepy smile. Loves their desperate kisses when they’re both keyed up and barely make it to the couch in his living room before their clothes come off. Loves the quiet kisses and hungry kisses and the gentle press of her lips to his when they say goodnight, occasionally spending time alone.
It’s what he wants, right now, standing on her doorstep. What he’s wanted all day—to see her and hold her—but she’d left work early, texted him to say she had a headache and to come over later if he wanted.
He’s earlier than he thinks she meant, having forgone his weekly dinner with Nate and Beard and Higgins. It’s not that he doesn’t want to spend time with them, but he’s exhausted, and what he wants, what he needs, is her.
So he knocks, waits, and knocks again. Her lights are on, and there’s a faint beeping coming from somewhere inside, but she doesn’t answer the door. Ted frowns, texts her, waits a few minutes but when she doesn’t reply, he fishes out the key she’d given him and hesitates. It’s for emergencies, mostly, and he isn’t sure they’re at a place where he can waltz right in; thinks about going home, calling her later, thinks maybe she just doesn’t want to see him right now. Maybe she has friends over. Maybe she’s busy and that’s her right, to not deal with him all the time.
He’s about to put the keys back in his pocket and leave when he hears a crash from inside, what sounds like a muffled yelp and he’s scrambling inside, drops his bag by the door and calls out her name.
It isn’t until he stops dead in the entrance to the kitchen that he realizes the beeping is a persistent smoke alarm. There’s a pot on the floor, something spilling out, and Rebecca has her back to him, frantically waving a towel at the alarm muttering, “Oh shut the fuck up you fucking piece of—"
“Rebecca?”

Oh that sounds like heaven. I think he'd absolutely love doing that. Maybe a light massage? Just relaxing? He'd be all about it. He loves comforting you. Let's gooo!

Warnings: Nudity, but mostly comfort

You texted while wincing.
"Headed home early, migraine"
Ted's phone lit up while he was in his office, chatting away with Beard after practice.
"Is that your lovebug?" Beard asked, taking a sip of black coffee and making a face.
"Is that your special coffee?" Ted asked with a chuckle, knowing what he put inside it. Beard laughed.
"And yes, to answer your question, it is. Migraine. Poor thing. I'mma head out of here, go whip up a care package at home."
Beard tips his hat and parts ways, and Ted rushes home.
...
Walking in the door of your shared flat with Ted, you find candles lit. Lights are low. He's baking his biscuits.
He rushes to the door to take your bag and coat, helping you sit down.
"What on earth..." you ask, confused. "I thought you had practice."
Ted chuckles lightly and responds quietly.
"We changed schedules, Sam had some restaurant business to do, so the team agreed."
You nod, knowing how flexible the team is with each other. You appreciate Ted is flexible with them, too.
As you blink and keep your eyes squinted, you can feel your body relax in the dim light of the room. You feel a sense of relaxation now that you're home.
Ted whispers, "Be right back" and scoots off to the kitchen to take the biscuits out, a buttery scent roaming the house. It further lets you relax.
In the bedroom, you change clothes and Ted holds your hand.
"Here sweetheart, gonna set you up a nice bath," he says, still in a hushed voice to be calming for you. He helps you strip your clothes and climb into a bubbling, lavender tub, your book waiting next to you should you want to read it.
"Oh, Ted... honey..." you say, a whimper in your voice. He thinks of everything.
As you climb in, you let out a long sigh. Your headache is still there, but less throbbing, less insistent than it was. Ted takes off his shirt, too.
"Are you...oh, honey, you don't have to..."
Ted smiles and shakes his head.
"I absolutely want to."
He steps in behind you, sinking down in the soft bubbles and warm water, bringing you between his legs and against his chest, his big hands are like silk against your skin as he rubs gently, easing the tension and knots you've gathered from a long week.
A deep sigh tells him he's on the right track.
"Y'know, sweetheart," he starts quietly, "You're so good at takin' care of me when I'm feelin' low, or if I get hurt. And y'aren't real good at letting people take care of you."
You swallow and nod. He's right. You always say you'll take care of yourself, but it's always last.
"And maybe that worked for a while, but now I'm here, and I wanna take care of you, too," he adds, kissing your shoulder so gently. "We're a team."
Your heart explodes in your chest with love. His hands continue to work down your back, over your hips, over your shoulders. Soon he just ropes his long, masculine arms around you to snuggle you.
"You're not in this alone, y/n," he whispers. "I love takin' care of ya. You're my person."
"You're my person, too," you whisper back, looking up at him. His hair flops over his forehead, his lips curled in a light smile.
Ted nudges his head at your book.
"Looks like you're early into that book, why don't ya give me the too-long-didn't-read and we'll read a chapter together, yeah?"
You grin from ear to ear and pick up your book, a Richmond bookmark sitting at chapter 2. After a quick rundown of the first chapter, Ted smiles.
"Let's crack it open," and he kisses the side of your head as he peers over your shoulder to read with you.
The water's warm. The scent is relaxing. Your migraine is receding. And you're in your little bubble with your person.

Ta-da! This felt right. And so comforting. And now I want this. And dammit I WANT THIS! Oh, Ted. Ted, Ted, Ted. What a babe. Thanks for the prompt, friend!

your stories are so comforting 🥺🥺 I love imagining ted looking after me
I have a few of requests in the inbox of "Ted looking after me" and I want to add myself to the list. That said, may we all take care of ourselves with some grace and space! And if you have a special someone to help, that's nice, too. But nothin' stops us from our own self-care, so take care of yourselves, you beautiful unicorns! Let's gooo!

You'd fallen asleep on the couch with your laptop open, a notebook and pen on your lap. Work was eating your life these last couple weeks.
Ted woke up in the middle of the night to reach for you, and the bed on your side was cold. He knew where you were.
Quietly, he took the laptop off your lap, put the notebook and pen aside.
"No, I'm still working..." you murmured, your eyes looking up at him, red and puffy and sleepless.
"No, sweetheart. It's time to sleep," Ted whispered.
"But I have to..."
"Sleep."
Ted held out his hand to help you up, his arm around your waist securely to walk you back to bed. He laid you down and crawled in with you, curling you into his arms to keep you from potentially getting up again to work bleary-eyed again in front of your screen.
"I have to..."
"Shhh, sugar. Sleep time. It's OK," he whispered soothingly, his hand running up and down your back.
And within a minute, you were softly breathing against his chest. Ted smiled.
...
And all those sleepless nights and overworking caught up with you.
Out to dinner, you moaned a little and held your head.
"You OK, honey?" Ted asked, giving the waiter the ticket and his card. His eyesbrows were bunched in worry.
"Just a headache, I'm OK," you smiled, trying to get through it.
But once you got back to the flat, your body ached. You were shivering. The start of an illness. Great.
You moaned and leaned onto the couch, shuddering as your body shivered. Ted placed his hand on your head.
"Oh, darlin'. You're burnin' up. I think you're catchin' a cold," he murmured quietly.
Before you can protest your obvious illness, Ted is getting a cool washcloth, helping you to the bedroom, helping you into your pajamas, laying you down, and making you a warm drink to sip on.
And rather than sequester himself in the living room, he sits up next to you, his pillows propped behind him, reading a book as you drift in and out of sleep.
Every time your eyes flutter open, or you make a noise, he's asking what he can do.
...
"Honey? I want'cha to eat somethin', okay?" Ted says wearily, with a legged tray filled with toast and orange juice.
"Just a little something, you need to eat," he says quietly, his face concerned. You sit up and nibble on the toast while he joins you on the bed.
"I think I need a bath..." you murmur as you finish the last piece. And Ted's on his feet again, drawing a bath and your favorite lavender salts.
Before you realize it, you're soaking in the tub. The aches and pains from your cold melting out of you.
"Join me?" you ask wearily and Ted obliges, slipping in behind you, tucking you against his chest, his hands gently running up and down your back in a light massage.
"How you feelin', sugar?" he asks softly in your ear.
"A little better. Thank you for taking care of me."
Ted just smiles and hums, roping his long arms around you under the warm water, letting you lean against his broad chest.
...
A week later, you're ready to go out with your friends. Ted was happy to see you steadily improving. Always coming home during the day to pop in and check on you, and making sure his focus was on taking care of you when he got home every night.
But now it's the weekend, you're feeling better. Finally.
You're in front of the mirror fixing your outfit and hair before your night out when Ted steps behind you, tucking his face against your neck, smelling your scent, and roping his arms around you.
"Mmmm, there's my gorgeous darlin'. All better?" he asks quietly, kissing the soft skin under your ear.
"Yes, thanks to you. You took such good care of me," you say, hugging him back in the mirror, looking into his eyes through the reflection,.
"Naw, I was just doin' what I could," he tries to shake off your gratefulness. But he smiles, too. He likes taking care of you.
Ted never leaves your side.
He whisks you to the dance floor to show you off. He orders your drink. Keeps his arm around you, hand on your hip, as you talk to your friends.
Taking care of you is one of his favorite responsibilities. And it's not even a responsibility.
He just loves you to pieces. And he can't wait to tell you so tonight when you're snuggled up in bed, breathing hard against each other, body relaxed with pleasure.
He'll tell it to you over and over and over again.
---
Awwwww. Can we clone him yet? Get on it, science. Make this man our reality. One for each of us! Actually... (thinks about the movie Multiplicity...) that could come with some caveats. Oh well, I'll risk it. Thanks for the prompt, friend!

been struggling with headaches lately but I feel like ted would do his best to help me
Oh, boy. Ted is such a snuggly comfort bear. I know he'd be so helpful and so sweet. He just wants his remedies to be helpful. Let's goooo!
---
Relationship: Ted Lasso x reader
Warning: None, all comfort no fluff
---
Ted came home from work, whistling a little tune, when he saw you on the couch in the dark, a washrag over your eyes, the curtains closed.
He knew right away what was going on. He gathered himself to speak quietly:
"Hey there, darlin', what can I do?"
Your heart melted. The first thing he says after a long day is asking how he can help you.
You take a deep breath and Ted sits on the end of the couch, lifting your fit gently and placing them in his lap. He runs his hands over your feet, his thumbs working in the arches.
He knows just what to do. The pressure points he's touching ease the pressure in your head just a little.
Ted's hands work up your calves and he continues to massage you gently.
"Teddy, can you get me some Tylenol from the bathroom?" you whisper just a little, and Ted doesn't say a word, popping up to get what you need. He returns with a big glass of water.
"Brought you some water, too, darlin'. You should drink some more, the hydration helps," he whispers, leaning down to kiss your head.
You pull the washrag off your eyes and look at him with loving eyes. He helps you sit up, so you don't rush your blood around too fast, and he hands you the glass of water.
His hand goes to your back, and he rubs it lovingly. You take another deep breath, feeling the pressure in your head let up just a little.
"You wanna snuggle, honey?" he asks sweetly. You nod, and he brings you into his chest, wrapping his arms around you and rubbing your shoulders.
"I'm so tired. This headache is eating my energy," you sigh. Ted nods.
"How 'bout we go snuggle up in bed, watch some TV and keep the lights low. I'll order us some dinner later," he offers quietly. You nod and smile.
"That'd be great, Teddy..."
In a matter of minutes, you're in your comfiest clothes, curled up against Ted's body. He's in his KC barbecue t-shirt and joggers, just as warm and cozy as you. His arm is around you, your head on his chest, and the curtains closed with a light rom-com movie playing.
"How ya feelin', honeybunch?" Ted asks quietly, his hand rubbing your back.
"I am, thank you. Thank you for taking care of me, Teddy," you answer, looking up at him.
"Naw, don't thank me. Just takin' care of my girl," he replies, kissing your lips gently.
---
I hope this was relaxing! Ted would be so gentle and quiet and sweet, helping you through it. Absolute comfort man. Thanks for the prompt, friend!

a gentle neck massage from ted would make me the most relaxed I’ve ever been, I think
The headcanon that you and Ted like to massage each other when you're stressed is so strong to me. I love it. Also, neck massages are so underrated. Let's gooo!

Relationship: Ted Lasso x reader
Warnings: Light teasing, mostly comfort
---
Your day of back-to-back meetings had cramped up every muscle in your body. A light headache and just general screen exhaustion were all that greeted you at the day's end.
When Ted walked in a few hours later, he had a big smile on his face, having another great practice with the team.
"Hi, darlin'!" he announced as he waltzed in the door. You were already changed into cozy clothes, just taking a couple of painkillers for your head.
"Oh, bad day?" he asked, putting his backpack down. You nodded.
"Long one, back-to-back meetings. Barely a lunch break.
Ted scrunched his face. He hates when you can't get a proper break, let alone a meal.
"Want me to fix ya somethin'?" he asked, taking off his shoes and sitting on the couch beside you. You shook your head.
"Not yet, maybe we can order a pizza?" Ted nods and smiles. "You got it, hon."
He retreated to the bedroom to put his own comfy clothes on, returning to you.
"I got an idea," Ted says enthusiastically. "Here, sweetheart, sit on the floor between my legs."
You flash a mischievous grin at him and he smirks and blushes.
"Not like that. C'mere."
You move to the floor between Ted's soft jogger-clad thighs and lean back. His hands run down your neck, across your shoulders, and then back to your neck. His thumbs work circles against your neck, and you groan.
"I learned from the team doc how some pressure points relieve pain, and I figured I'd try to help. How's that feel, darlin'?" he asks, leaning over your shoulder.
"Ohhhh, it's working..."
He smiles to himself as his hands continue to work across your upper back, over your neck. Your head is jelly, lolling around in relaxation.
"Ooohhhhh," you moan, and Ted smiles.
"Goddamn... that feels good..."
Oh, Ted smiles again. And he's getting... excited at your soft voice eliciting so much pleasure from his touch.
His thumbs work slower and his hands run down your shoulders, rubbing those, too.
Your whole body is relaxed, it could melt into the carpet.
His long fingers run through your hair a little, and it just adds to the total relaxation you feel. Your worries and stress of the day melt away under his touch.
"This helpin', baby?" Ted asks your ear sensually, his lips along the shell of your ear, his mustache tickling.
"Yeah, baby...feels incredible..." you add, your eyes closed, your voice soft, your breath deep.
He leans you back against his lap a little, and your eyes drift open as you look at his face. He leans down and kisses your lips.
"It's like the Spiderman kiss," you joke, his mustache tickling your lip.
"Yeah, gotta take the best moves from the movies," he says softly before he leans in to kiss you again.
"I'm feelin' better, Teddy..." you add sensually.
"Yeah? Well let's finish that massage in the bedroom, shall we?"
You stand up as Ted wraps his arms around you, kissing down your neck and walking you backward to the bedroom.
---
That man would make me melt with EVERY FREAKING TOUCH. Goodness gracious. What a man, what a man, what a man... He equally deserves neck massages. And sex, lol. Thanks for this prompt, friend!

Anon: "Idk if you're taking requests at the moment but the way you write for Ted is amazing and I'm stuck in bed feeling like death because I've got the most brutal sinus infection rn. I was hoping you might write something about Ted helping his partner feel better when they're sick or in pain. Be it joint pain, headache, cramps, flu whatever strikes your fancy. Thank you xx "

All in the Name of Being Holy
by JForward
"Jamie? Jamie! Oh, no - Jamie - Jamie -" someone calling to him, perhaps across the great expanse, a distant island. He would get there in time, or maybe he would be swept out to the depths, carried away, with just the comfort of freedom. The whole world, available for him to drift across. Prisms of light skittered, through the glass - no - the gems - such beauty, right in front of his face, like a watch he'd never actually worn, because it had always seemed too nice. Agony exploded across his side, wrenching him from his peace, white light rushing over him, water cascading up and taking him down, down, down...

life's like an hourglass (glued to the table)
by asawyer98
He slips when he bursts out of his door and onto Paved Court, the stones slick with the rain that’s roaring down relentlessly. Water rolls down his neck and his t-shirt chafes uncomfortably where it clings to his skin, and he has to push back the hair from his eyes by the time he breaks onto the grass on the Green.
There’s a flash of lightning in the distance, followed by a roll of thunder that reverberates in his bones, and yet somehow the epitome of the raw power of the Gods has nothing on the thundering of his heart in his chest.
Please Lord – not her.
“I’m almost there,” he pants into the receiver. “It’s gonna be okay.”
Jolts of pain flash up his legs with each thundering step, the harsh impact of his footfalls kicking up water when he stumbles through a puddle entrapped in the uneven surface of the sidewalk; he’s never run so fast in his life.
And yet somehow he knows it’s not fast enough.
