Samoa Joe vs Jade Suzuki
There’s a dangerous look in Samoa Joe’s eyes as he marches down to the ring, his gaze never veering from Suzuki’s as he rolls into the squared circle. He only looks away to throw his towel into the crowd, throwing up his arm as thunderous chants of “JOE! JOE! JOE! JOE!” fill the crisp air in Philadelphia, as they know they’re in for a war tonight. Joe’s reputation for brutality precedes him, while Suzuki’s path to the top has been paved with beatings that border on sadism. This match felt like a collision course between two unstoppable forces - but it was about more than just the match itself. If Jade wants that encounter with Zack Sabre Jr, she has to test herself against the best of the best, but if she can’t even get past step one, Joe could be booking himself a ticket to the UK instead.
The bell tolls behind him, and it’s like the floodgates open as they immediately come nose to nose, then fist for fist, trading rapid fire elbows smack dab in the center of the ring! The sound of leather elbow pads slapping against flesh echoes through the 2300 tonight, until Joe switches things up, landing a vicious chop to Suzuki’s chest! But she just smirks, asking him for more! Joe responds with another chop, and another. Unloading them on Suzuki’s chest, but she doesn’t budge. Joe lands a headbutt to stumble her finally, but Suzuki rears her arm back, and CRACKS her arm against Joe’s jaw, nailing him with a WICKED forearm! Joe drops to his knees, but Suzuki quickly picks him back up, shoving him to the ropes and tucking his arms around them. Suzuki begins to pepper him with vicious, unrelenting slaps to the face, alternating between palms before she nails him with a stiff uppercut! Suzuki looks like she wants to run the ropes, but Joe grabs her by the back of the tights pulling her back, and trapping her in a side headlock. But Suzuki slips out. She grabs the arm, manipulating it into a wrist lock, trying to grind down the wrist as Joe grits his teeth. He powers out, planting Suzuki with a judo-style hip toss, before sinking to the mat, trying to get her in a chinlock, but Suzuki reverses it, pulling Joe down into a heel hook instead! Wrapping her legs around Joe’s with a venomous precision, twisting on the ankle, trying to tear apart Joe’s foot. He grits his teeth, grimacing in pain, but eventually, he’s able to roll over, using his free leg to kick Jade in the face until she releases. Relying on his right foot to get himself to his feet, Joe charges, and clotheslines Suzuki right over the top rope! She lands on the floor, trying to gather her bearings, as Joe takes flight! Going for an elbow suicida - but Jade moves, and Joe crashes HARD, going face first into the barricade!
Joe can barely register what zip code he’s in right now, but the party doesn’t stop until he isn’t moving, as Suzuki lines him up, nailing him with a stiff PK, crushing him even further into the steel guardrail! Throwing him back inside the ring, Suzuki quickly steps in and jumps on Joe, locking him into a rear naked choke. While this may be very early in the match still, Suzuki senses blood and jumps on it, wrapping her legs tightly around Joe’s midsection in a bid to choke him out. Joe struggles, his face turns red, but he manages to power up to his feet. Suzuki still hanging off his back, the arm still tucked tightly around his throat, not allowing Joe to breathe at all. Joe stumbles back into the corner, smashing Suzuki into the turnbuckles, breaking the hold! With Jade stunned, Joe sets up, nailing her with a big running back elbow, but nobody’s home when he goes for the enzuigiri, Suzuki moving out of the way! She slips behind him, arms coming up to pull him into a full nelson bomb - she manages to scoop Joe up, but he throws her off! Suzuki jumps back to her feet, just to eat a stiff forearm from Samoa Joe! Planting it right on the jaw, but Suzuki responds with a massive chop in kind! The sound echoes through the arena as the audience gasps, Joe winches, and he fires back with a stiff chop of his own! Suzuki, barely phased, rears her arm back and delivers another monstrous forearm, and Jo drops to his knees! But just like before, Suzuki doesn’t give him another room to breathe, quickly forcing him back to his feet, and nailing him with a chop to the chest! Joe covers up, walking it off as he shakes his head. He responds with a chop back, and now they’re trading shots back and forth, unloading on each other with chops to the pectorals, before Suzuki lands a boot to Joe’s chest, staggering him into the ropes. Joe bounces back and hits an enzuigiri, stunning Suzuki! She’s out on her feet, but somehow, she’s able to pop off yet another vicious chop to the chest, but this one sounds like a gunshot just went off in the arena, and Joe’s down!
Suzuki corners Joe and unloads with a series of wicked, stiff chops to the chest. Each one draws pained gasps from Joe and the audience in kind, Joe tries to cover up, but Suzuki’s relentless assault breaks through, leaving Joe’s chest red and raw. When she’s done, Suzuki lifts Joe up, planting him with a Manhattan drop. Joe grabs for his pelvis as Suzuki hits the ropes, knocking him down with a big boot! She follows up with a senton, crushing Joe under her! Flipping Joe onto his stomach, Suzuki folds up his legs, grabbing him around the throat, and she rocks back into a Bow and Arrow stretch. Holding a man of Joe’s size up like that proves too be too difficult, as Suzuki’s grip slips, and Joe flips out right into a cover!
1… 2… Kickout!
Suzuki throws him off and springs to her feet, decking him with a massive clothesline! Joe rolls to the outside, trying to avoid the onslaught, but Suzuki stays on him. Joining him out on there floor, Suzuki spins him around and delivers another thunderous chop, sending shockwaves through Joe’s body! She tries to follow it up with a suplex, but Joe switches, standing behind Suzuki and shoving her into the ring post! Suzuki’s noggin collides against the plastic cover of the ring post, and Joe’s already back inside the ring. He runs the ropes, picking up steam to take flight, sending Suzuki crashing into the barricade with an elbow suicida! The crowd erupts as Joe gets back to his feet, adrenaline coursing through his veins. He drags Suzuki up and rolls him back into the ring. With Suzuki down, Joe pounces, locking in the Coquina Clutch in the center of the ring! Suzuki struggles, fighting against the submission hold. Just as it seems like Joe might put him to sleep, Suzuki uses her incredible power to rise to her feet and break the hold by smashing Joe into the corner turnbuckle! Suzuki gasps for air but remains focused. She whips around and charges Joe, nearly decapitating him with a big boot! She turns him around, grabs him by the waist, and plants Joe with a huge German suplex! Joe crashes to the mat, and Jade holds on, bridging into the cover!
1… 2… Kickout!
Suzuki, frustrated by Joe’s resilience grabs him, and applies the rear naked choke! Joe, however, fights back with a fury. He doesn’t let her lock the legs so he’s able to turn things around, nailing Suzuki with back elbows to the gut until she releases, and Joe nails her with a chop to the chest! He follows up with a right hook, neatly planted in the crook of the jaw, before hitting another chop. Lighting her up with the sequence as he staggers Suzuki, even throwing in a few knees for good measure. She’s sent back, clearly rocked by the onslaught, but Jade is still able to charge - and get planted by a snap powerslam! Suzuki crashes onto her tailbone, and Joe is fired up! He calls on our fans as Jade gets to her feet, finding purchase in the corner. Joe charges, nailing her with a huge back elbow! He twists, and hits her with an enzuigiri! Suzuki’s out on her feet! Sensing an opportunity, Joe positions Suzuki on the top turnbuckle and tucks her head against his shoulder. He pries her off and moves back - hitting the Muscle Buster! Joe hooks the far leg to finish this!
1… 2… KICKOUT!
Not enough to keep Jade down! Joe hoists Suzuki up, but she fights out of it and lands a series of brutal forearms to Joe’s head! Battering him with stiff, powerful shots to the dome, until Joe is limp in her arms. Suzuki tucks his head between her legs, grabbing him by the waist. And she picks him up! She’s got Joe on her shoulders and charged, depositing him HARD in the corner, tossing him with a MASSIVE Buckle Bomb! She tosses him with terrifying force, snapping him in half! The impact is sickening, leaving Joe a slumped over figure in the corner. Suzuki smirks down at him before charging, crushing him with a cannonball senton! Joe is out on his feet as she picks him up, moving them out of the corner, and tries to finish him off with the Gotch Style Piledriver. But Joe isn’t going down so easily! He doubles down, sitting on a knee and making himself deadweight so Suzuki can’t move him. Frustrated, she releases her attempt and instead pulls him into a clinch, peppering him with a few knees before he shoves her off. Suzuki charges, but Joe scoops her up, stacking her up with a powerbomb! Shoulders down!
1… 2… Kickout!
As Jade throws the shoulder up, Joe uses her momentum to turn her over, and locks in a Boston Crab! Suzuki screams in agony as Joe cranks the hold, putting all his weight on the lower back! But Suzuki doesn’t give in to the temptation and crawls her way to the ropes, finally grabbing onto the bottom rope to earn her freedom. Joe holds on for a few extra seconds but releases, having a word with the referee as Jade pulls herself to the outside. She holds her lower back as she maneuvers around the floor - but here comes Joe with another elbow suicida! But he’s CAUGHT! Suzuki catches him, throws him up, and DUMPS him with a powerbomb, right across the apron! Holy shit! Joe’s spine snaps back against the rigid ring apron, and the crowd gasps as he crumbles to the floor! Suzuki stands, visibly battered but smiling through the pain, smiling at the pain she’s inflicting. Back inside the ring, she catches Joe off-guard with a devastating forearm to the jaw, and Joe stumbles backward. Suzuki, sensing an opening, charges in with a running boot to Joe’s face, knocking him down! The sound echoes through the building as Joe crumples to the mat. Suzuki quickly capitalizes, grabbing Joe’s arm and attempting to lock in a Kimura Lock! Joe resists, using his strength to prevent the full extension, but Suzuki expertly maneuvers into position, applying pressure to Joe’s shoulder. The crowd roars as Joe grimaces in pain, trying to fight through it, and fight through it he does. But just when it looks like he’s going to power out, Suzuki twists him around, and plants Joe with a German suplex! Suzuki holds on, bringing them back to their feet, where she switches into a full nelson. Scooping Joe up, she plants him on his tailbone and quickly turns him over, laying Joe on his stomach as she tries to lock in the Rings of Saturn. But Joe is a rather large man. While Jade is far from little, she doesn’t quite have the reach to fully lock in the hold, and Joe powers out, nailing her with several elbows to the side of the head, successfully avoiding the dangerous submission. Joe stumbles back into the corner, trying to shake out the cobwebs. Suzuki charges, but Joe scoops her up! With a loud roar of “SIT DOWN!” Joe plants her with a MASSIVE Uranage! The ring shakes agains the force of that one, and Joe sinks down, going for the cover!
1… 2… Kickout!
Joe pulls Suzuki up, but she shoves him and slaps him across the face - hard. The disrespect fires Joe up as he stands, and they’re trading slaps, trading forearms, neither wrestler giving an inch! Suzuki catches Joe’s arm, pulling him in for a sudden Rear Naked Choke! She locks it in tight, wrenching Joe’s neck and cutting off his air supply. Joe fights it, trying to reach the ropes, but Suzuki drags him back to the center of the ring. Joe’s legs start to buckle as the hold tightens. The referee checks on Joe, who is fading fast. With one last burst of energy, Joe tries to break free, but Suzuki drops to the mat, locking her legs around Joe’s waist and squeezing the life out of him.
Joe’s hand goes limp, and the referee lifts it once… twice…
Three times! Joe is out!
“Here is your winner, Jade Suzuki!”
Suzuki releases the hold and stands above Joe, a wide smirk on her face as she looks out at the fans. Her eyes narrow in on the camera, and she squats, speaking into it, “I’ll play your little game, Zack, but you’re lining up lambs to the slaughter. Your days are numbered.”

@spiralshift , DBD Verse;
The gates of the Gideon Meat Plant are locked. Outside of trials, no one gets in without Amanda's explicit permission. Yet… she trusts her instincts. Though the intruder is nearly silent, she can sense his presence in her territory with enough confidence to don her mask and go looking for him.
When she peeks around the corner of the doorway, she finds him not paying attention. His focus is on a table where her reverse bear traps sit, screwdrivers and grease laid out from recent repairs and modifications. In the moment, she doesn't care whether he's a killer or survivor. She cares that he's in her territory, getting his fingerprints on her belongings.
Her approach is silent. He would notice her if he would look over his shoulder, but he doesn't, too entranced by the traps in front of him. Then she's on him.
She lunges with her knife; not to kill, just to maim. Her blade catches his shoulder, tearing fabric, drawing blood. Free hand catches him in a headlock, knee slammed into his lower back. His temple makes impact with the table before he hits the ground, but the sound is off. Muffled. Is he wearing a mask?

When they returned to the Shack, Wendy was showing a tour around the yard, wearing an outfit similar to the one Ford had been wearing when he came out of the portal. The main difference was that her longcoat was burgundy, with a bag-of-ice symbol embroidered in gold on the back. In concession to the heat, she’d slipped her arms out and was wearing it as a cape. Impractical for a real interdimensional traveller, but the coat was for show, not function, and needed to be flashy.
She’d gotten taller since they’d seen her, having shot past their own height in the few months since New Year’s. She gave them a small wave when they came up to join the tour, but wasn’t able to talk to them since she was in the middle of explaining Rock-That-Looks-Like-a-Face.
“It’s a rock that looks like a face!” she said. “Just look at its expression of terror- I’m tellin’ ya, this rock has seen things.”
“Is it a face?” Stan called, unable to resist, and got an eyeroll from Ford. Wendy sighed.
“It’s a rock that looks like a face.”
“Is it a face that looks like a rock?” called another voice in the crowd, and Stan found himself chuckling softly while Wendy facepalmed.
“No! It’s a rock! It just happens to look like a face!”
“Is a person who was turned into a rock?” Ford asked, leaning close to the face and rubbing his chin thoughtfully. Stan was doubled over in laughter now, while the rest of the tour murmured and mumbled.
“Okay, people, tour’s over,” Wendy said, sighing and shooing them away. “Gift shop’s over there, go buy some merchandise. You know you want to!”
Once the last of the tour was in the gift shop, Wendy turned back to them and hurled herself at Stan, wrapping him up in a bear hug that was definitely stronger than the last time he’d seen her.
“You ruined my tour, you old grump!” she chided, barely containing her grin.
“Aw, Wendy…” He raised his arms as though he meant to return her hug- “...you ruined your own tour.” -and then twisted her into a headlock, noogying her intensely. “So who told you you were allowed to get taller than me, huh?”
Wendy giggled and squirmed away, managing to reverse their positions so she had him in a headlock instead. “Nobody had to tell me nothin’! I make my own rules, sucka!”
A brief wrestling match ensued, until Stan scooped her into a real hug.
“I missed you, kiddo,” he said, and released her. “Tell anyone I said that and you’re fired.”
“Tch, I don’t work for you anymore.”
“You think Soos won’t fire you if I tell him to?”
“Okay, fair point.” She let go of him and threw her arm around Ford’s shoulder. “It’s good to see you too, Dr. Pines,” she added, while he pulled her into a one-armed hug, tugging her down to ruffle her hair affectionately.
“That’s an interesting outfit,” Stan said, once they’d made their way inside.
“Cool, right?” Wendy grinned and stepped away, turning around and jabbing her thumbs over her shoulder at the symbol on the back. “I tried to copy the Mr. Mystery persona you and Soos use but it just didn’t work. So I played around with some ideas and decided to try ‘interdimensional drifter from the sci-fi sideburn dimension’ and it stuck. I tell people stories about other dimensions on the tours and they eat it up!”
Ford frowned. “Is that why you asked all those questions about my travels?” he said, halfway pouting. “I thought you just wanted to know about my adventures.”
She snorted. “Dude, your adventures were crazy! I loved hearing about them, but man, I would not have thought to ask if I wasn’t trying to get my persona to be more genuine.”
“I’m glad it’s working out for you. I just wish you’d said something. I would have catered my stories to the idea.”
“No offense, sir, but I don’t think you know enough about the tourist trap business to be able to make those calls.”

OSF AU - All the Little Children (10/?)
Part 10: In which the Hero reappears, a turtle comes to the rescue, and a panicking pack of preteens discuss the power of propaganda.
Content warnings: None, aside from the usual warnings about Garp’s total lack of parenting skills.
Once again, the punch-happy grandpa appeared out of nowhere on sleepy little Dawn Island. Naruto hadn’t worked out where he landed, though he knew the guy was a Marine and had to dock his ship somewhere since he sure as hell didn’t live on the island. Instead, Naruto kept patrols of clones running through the forest in the shape of bugs and other stuff, trying to be sure no one got caught off guard by the guy ever again. Thus, Naruto was the first one to know when Garp was headed their way.
While Kei-sensei lived farther up the mountain to give Fū some space, she came down almost every day to help with training and making them non-wild food and whatever else the FNG trio needed (though she made a funny face whenever she heard the name). Naruto had told her about Luffy and Ace and Sabo and their shitty grandpa, and he didn’t need to be a sensor to know she wasn’t happy about the situation.
And she hadn’t come down the mountain today. Not yet.
Naruto cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted, “Time out!”
Gaara let Sabo yank his pipe out of a fist made of sand, while Luffy had Fū in a rubbery headlock, and Ace got dog-piled by Yang Kurama, Shukaku, and Chōmei the instant his and Naruto’s sparring match ground to a screeching halt. Okay, sure, Naruto had been a bit distracted by impending doom, but he could handle himself without their help.
“Why’d you stop?” Usually, Ace would have thrown in in a curse or a taunt, but Naruto guessed he could sense the sudden tension. Even Yang Kurama, who was sitting on Ace’s leg, didn’t look happy.
“Your evil grandpa just reached the forest,” Naruto said in a grim voice.
Everyone with visible skin went pale with fear. The Tailed Beasts bristled instead.
Except for one. “Who is this ‘evil grandpa’?” asked Isobu.
“Remember when we told Keisuke about how we became friends in the face of a greater foe?” Gaara asked, thought it sounded a bit like he didn’t really want an answer. “It’s him.”
“Oh,” said Isobu, more thoughtfully this time.
After that, everyone else was so busy fleeing toward the FNG base—so named because it sounded cool and because “base” was what they were using it for—and toward the “safety” of the trapped zones that only Naruto saw Isobu curl into a ball and roll away. Since the bear on stilts mostly didn’t notice the Tailed Beasts unless they were biting him, Naruto figured he’d be fine, and probably fast enough to reach Kei-sensei if he kept rolling.
Several minutes of controlled-panic running later, the shouting started. “You can run, but you can't hide, brats!”
Naruto signaled Fū with his left hand, and she and Chōmei did a spin on their next step that ended in a blizzard of sparky powder shooting toward the direction Garp might’ve been. It probably didn’t do much other than make him look like the world’s scariest victim of a glitter prank, but it got everywhere and it itched pretty bad. The attack bought them a few precious seconds—long enough for Chōmei to spit thirty meters of sticky silk across the shortest path between Garp and their group.
Up ahead, Luffy whooped with surprised laughter as Gaara threw him over the mouth of an open pit trap and into the bushes beyond it. Sabo and Ace made the jump on their own, with Gaara sweeping after them on a carpet of sand that hid the trap’s exact dimensions from the enemy. Gaara also made sure that the ASL bros kept going, hanging back only to make sure Naruto and Fū were going to make it.
They almost made it.
But the bear crashed through a tree, landing just where Naruto had been running a split second before. Naruto yelped as the ground buckled and rolled, throwing him off balance and nearly sending him stumbling into Fū’s outstretched wings.
“You’re not the ones I’ve had the longest,” the old bear began, “but you’ve earned this, too. Fist of Love!”
Ohshit.
Naruto shoved Fū, preparing to take the hit because it’d take him less time to heal—
“Reverse Summoning Jutsu!” squeaked Isobu’s voice from nowhere.
—And then there was Kei-sensei, wrapped up in Tailed Beast chakra and blocking the punch with one glowing hand. The energy that made a V1 chakra cloak dangerous rippled and dispersed the force of the punch, sending shockwaves through the air but nobody else.
Why hadn’t any of them thought of that? What the hell?
“Who the hell are you supposed to be?” Garp demanded, though he pulled back and shook out his fist, like he’d finally hit something too tough or weird to break.
Kei-sensei stood up to her full height—still way smaller than Garp—and said, “Kids, run. I can handle this.”
“Kei-sensei, you didn’t fight him before,” Naruto protested, even though he could feel Fū pulling on his arm and the others needed him. He’d designed most of the traps around their base and they were mostly armed, still.
“That was an order, Naruto,” Kei-sensei told him flatly. “Go.”
Naruto opened his mouth to argue more, but Fū finally yanked him off-balance so she could get him to rejoin the others. And anyway, his voice would have been drowned out by the immediate, deafening slamming noises and flying debris that followed, because Kei-sensei and Garp hadn’t wasted any time getting right down to the fighting part.
Fū flew them across the covered pit even though Gaara would never have let them fall in, and even if carrying Naruto’s uncooperative weight with one arm was really bad for her balance. When she let go, Naruto, Fū, and Gaara all tore after the ASL brothers like their lives depended on it.
Something exploded behind them.
The FNG group ran faster.
Naruto skidded to a stop once he reached the open end of one of their many side tunnels. After the bear on stilts had plowed through last time, they’d made sure all the entrances were too small for him to get in. Luffy and his older brothers, though, were small enough to fit just fine. All three of them brandished pipes in a white-knuckled grip until they recognized the other gang of kids.
“Where’s Gramps?” Ace asked, still cautious.
“Keisuke appeared,” Gaara explained, which was kind of a lame explanation. Summed things up, though.
Naruto bit the side of his thumb, trying to think of ways to weaponize that reverse-summoning trick. “So maybe we should—”
Another explosion rocked the forest.
“I guess they’re still busy?” Fū guessed, looking over her shoulder warily. “I mean, if there’s anyone who could stop the Tidal Blade…”
“Are you kidding?” Ace gaped at her, completely stunned. “I hope she kicks his ass into next week!”
“But she’s the—” Fū began.
“Wait, no,” Sabo began, holding out his hands in an attempt to stop the fight.
But Naruto had long since lost patience.
“Will you shut up?” Naruto burst out, glaring at Fū with his connection to Yang Kurama acting up. “Kei-sensei’s never done anything to you, or to any of us! What the hell is your problem?!”
“She’s the kind of person who gives all jinchūriki a bad name!” Fū shouted back. “There was this village, in the middle of the Land of Fire—one of yours—and sh-she killed everyone there, and she’s killed whole t-t-teams and I-I don’t want that to be us!”
Naruto froze, while Fū fought to keep from crying. She's really that afraid of Kei-sensei?
“But isn’t that what shinobi are?” Gaara broke in, drawing everyone’s attention. Under their stares, he just said in a flat voice, “Shinobi are weapons that serve their villages. Keisuke is a strong kunoichi, but she’s easily what any of us could grow up to be. There’s no way to go through shinobi life without doing something terrible. Even so…” Gaara trailed off for a second, thinking. As Fū sniffled, he asked, “Who told you Keisuke was untrustworthy?”
“Only everyone,” Fū mumbled, rubbing her reddened eyes. “Shibuki and my tutors and…”
“I don’t know about everyone,” Gaara said after a little longer, crouching next to Fū. “But Keisuke is the reason I can talk to Shukaku now. Why we don’t hate each other.”
“Huh?”
“She and Isobu helped us learn to talk, instead of fighting,” Gaara explained.
Naruto scratched his head. “And the only reason we know each other is because Shukaku finally got in contact with Yang Kurama and Yin Kurama, back when we were little. He couldn’t do that before.”
“And she makes us yummy food!” Luffy said, hugging Fū with his rubbery arms. Once his stretching yanked him into her shoulder, he added, “So don’t be sad, Fū! We’re all okay right now!”
Fū bit her lip and didn’t respond, other than to hug Luffy back.
Naruto sighed. What a mess. “Look, we’ll talk about this later. Right now, let’s just go inside.”
A few hours passed, and Luffy ate all their food with Ace and Sabo’s help because no one wanted to go out and get another tiger. Fū sat and sulked for most of it, not even doing more than picking at her food and seeming sick to her stomach. Gaara had Shukaku on his knee and Chōmei on his shoulder, and the three of them talked really quietly for a while after dinner.
Naruto and Yang Kurama waited at the entrance of the cave until Isobu rolled in.
“Is it done?” Yang Kurama asked his turtle-like brother.
“Well, they are heading this way and neither of them are dead.” Isobu’s tails wiggled. “The rest is going to be part of our talk next.”
“Ugh, words. And with a human none of us like,” Yang Kurama muttered, settling onto Naruto’s leg and lowering his head onto his paws. “Wake me when it is over.”

Night 8 of the 31 Nights of Hallowicked
Night 8
12 Large Summit: Hallowicked vs Claudio Castagnoli
The Case of The Bullet Proof Waldo
6/24/2011
Chikara comes off as one of the most underrated rosters in all of wrestling. When you look at the amount of talent that has wrestled in Chikara it is insane. There are a lot of reasons why this could be. Some people might think it is too goofy, it may also be because talents wear a mask while they get good only to get a larger audience on them when they remove their mask. I’m not sure and this isn’t really what this blog is about so I am going to move onto the most famous of all Chikara regulars Claudio Castagnoli or you may know him as Cesaro. One of the best wrestlers in the world and even though most people rate him highly he is still one of the most underrated wrestlers in the world.
Hallowicked and Castagnoli have faced off a few times and I might do their other match from a few years back. This one is from the 12 Large Summit a round-robin season-long tournament to declare the first-ever Chikara Grand Championship. I actually haven’t watched much from this tournament besides the finals so I ended up watching all three of the tournament matches from this card which were Sara Del Rey vs Icarus, Fire Ant vs UltraMantis Black and the match I’ll be writing about Hallowicked vs Claudio Castagnoli. I am actually pretty interested in this tournament and will be recapping at least one more match from it but that is for another time.
Hallowicked is sporting one of my favorite masks of his, it is black with orange jack-o-lantern facial feature and looks the most like a pumpkin with a large orange stem coming out the top. How Hallowicked’s mask has changed over the years is actually a very interesting thing to think about. His mask now is silver with red facial features and while still plenty spooky he barely looks like a pumpkin anymore. Claudio looks exactly how he always looks. Barely changed in the last 8 years since this match.
When Gavin Loudspeaker introduces these two he lists off all of their accomplishments in Chikara and hoo-boy is there are alot of them. Claudio has held the tag titles 2 times and wrestled in 15 different countries while Hallowicked is the first Young Lions Cup winner and has been called the greatest Wrestle Factory student and man I don’t know if I could think of anyone better.
Hallowicked also has super cool black pants with pumpkins on them. He slams on the ring and it seems like everyone is really behind him. Claudio quickly overpowers Hallowicked and presses his face up while in the corner, the ref counts. Hallowicked does the same to Castagnoli but when he goes to break the count Claudio hangs onto him.
They lock up again in the middle of the ring and quickly end up on the ground. Claudio has Hallowicked’s arm pinned behind him. Hallowicked works his way out and the two end up standing and battling for leverage. Claudio goes after the mask of Hallowicked trying to shift it to make it harder for Wicked to see. Claudio then uses the mask to pull Hallowicked to the ground. The two continue to fight over twist each other arms Claudio going after the mask again. The fans boo.
On commentary Bryce and Mike Quakenbush note how Hallowicked has been wrestling clean for a while now which is interesting to hear. Hallowicked is mostly known for his dirty tactics but according to commentary as of late he has cleaned up his act.
In the ring, Claudio has Hallowicked in a headlock. Hallowicked whips his opponent overhead and onto his back to get out of the hold. The fans cheer equally for both men while Hallowicked gets Claudio in a headlock. Claudio gets out of the headlock the same way Hallowicked did to him. Hallowicked takes down Claudio and gets a single leg grapevine on him. These two are just twisting each other into knots.
Hallowicked ends up trapped with his head between Claudio’s legs in a headscissor. The fans cheer mostly just to entertain themselves. Hallowicked pushes on Claudio’s knees and works his way out, his opponent seems shocked and Hallowicked smacks him to the ground. This is actually an intricate hold as Hallowicked and Claudio have their legs in tangled. Hallowicked presses down on Claudio’s knees causing him to scream in pain. Claudio tries for a bear hug on the ground and then gets his foot out from Hallowicked and flips him into a pin attempt but Hallowicked kicks out.
The two stand and wrap each other’s hands around their opponent’s necks. They end up struggling back and forth and wind up in the ropes. Claudio is trying to pin Hallowicked down while their hands are interlocked but Hallowicked keeps bridging out of it. Claudio jumps on top of Hallowicked but is still unable to get the pin.
Hallowicked tries for a sunset flip but only gets a two. Claudio then drops Hallowicked and gets the same grapevine that Hallowicked had on him earlier. These two are mirroring each other. Sticking close and never giving the other any space. They constantly have their hands on each other and their legs wrapped around each other. This isn’t a match of big moves and running the ropes it is something much more personal than that. Hallowicked puts his foot over his knee and uses it to leverage Claudio closer to him and then puts him in a side headlock. Seriously intricate stuff.
Claudio works his way up and shoves Hallowicked into the corner to break the headlock. Claudio charges at him but Hallowicked turns and elbows him in the face. Hallowicked goes to the second rope and hits and senton but Claudio gets his feet up. Claudio goes for a pin but doesn’t get the three then he locks in a camel clutch. Claudio can’t get it all the way in and instead slams Hallowicked down and stands over him posing.
Claudio hits a huge uppercut that sends Hallowicked to the ground. Then he pins Hallowicked’s arms behind his back with a handlebar submission. Hallowicked tries to reverse it but just when Claudio gets nervous he might get out he grabs a handful of mask and drops Hallowicked to the ground.
Hallowicked hits the ropes and flips over Claudio but overdoes it and misses the sunset flip. He moves back into position and you have never seen anyone work so hard for a sunset flip. Hallowicked gets his feet under Claudio’s armpits and pulls him down to the mat but only gets a two. Claudio is up quick with a clothesline then stomps on his grounded opponent.
Claudio gets another huge uppercut and Hallwicked rolls to the ropes. Claudio attacks him from the outside driving his knee into him. Claudio gets back into the ring then slingshots Wicked into the bottom rope. He rolls him over but Hallowicked kicks out at two. Hallowicked gets tosses into the corner but gets his foot up and kicks Claudio then gets a hurricanrana Hallowicked is finally getting some offense in with his step-up kick and rolls him up with a small package. But only gets a two count.
Hallowicked gets his opponent into an octopus hold which Quack calls old school Hallowicked. Wicked flips it into a sunset flip which Mike calls “The Monster Mash from back in the day”. “Taking it way back” Bryce adds. Hallowicked dodges a punch and gets a backslide for a two.
Claudio hits the ropes and Hallowicked ducks a bicycle kick he hits the ropes and hits Claudio with his own big book and a jackknife pinning combo but doesn’t get the three. Claudio gets a suplex when Hallowicked isn’t able to complete his own. The fans chant “Hallowicked” broken up into three syllables.
Hallowicked goes for another step-up kick but Claudio ducks. Hallowicked ends up on the second rope with one leg on the outside on the leg on the inside. Claudio pushes him so the rope lands right in the pumpkin patch. Claudio pulls him down and gets the pin. Hallowicked writhes in pain on the ground.
What I find most interesting about this match is Hallowicked is the technico for this match which does not happen very often. But when he is facing Castagnoli who is the leader of this season group of big bad guys BDK the fans tend to cheer more for Hallowicked. I don’t like or use wrestling terms like heel or face. I think they are stupid. What I like about Chikara though is how they use technico and rudo which are more about the style a wrestler uses instead of how they play to the crowd. Claudio was constantly attacking the mask of Hallowicked while Hallowicked was wrestling a clean match. This match was fun and if I was a nerd I might call it technical. The two were constantly in contact with each other never given the other breathing room. It really worked it’s way up that the ending kind of felt like a cop-out but it made the fans mad at Claudio and any visceral reaction from the fans is a good one is how I always view it.

Matsumoto vs Lilith Brookes
This contest pits two rivals against each other to see who’ll advance to 12’s briefcase ladder match. Lilith recently made her return after suffering a shoulder injury at the hands of Matsumoto, so this match was already tense, both competitors fired up and ready to tear each other apart, and both are capable of doing so. An aggressive collar and elbow tie up starts this one off, Matsumoto backing them up into the corner, but breaks clean at the referee’s behest. Matsumoto stays close and grabs Lilith by the waist, hoisting her off her feet as she turns them around, and dumps Lilith over the top! But wait, Lilith hangs onto the ropes to avoid a nasty fall and lands an enzuigiri to the back of Matsumoto’s head! The Machine stumbles, allowing Lilith to get back in the ring and grab her by the arms, attempting a Tiger Suplex, but Matsumoto’s too big for the smaller competitior, and she breaks free with a back elbow to Lilith’s forehead. Now it’s Lilith’s turn to stumble, clearly dazed after the shot, but still puts her hands up for a test of strength! Matsumoto regards her, surprised and annoyed by her tenacity, and gives Lilith what she wants. In no time flat the Stardust Punk finds herself in a precarious position; her forehead on the mat, spine arching, as Matsumoto pins her there. But Lilith pushes up and rolls through! Their hands are released and Lilith jumps up, her feet around Matsumoto’s head, and brings her to the mat! Battle cry from Lilith as Matsumoto rolls to the outside. Brookes follows, staying on the apron as she watches Matsumoto pull herself to her feet. Legs bounce off the ropes, and Lilith connects with an Arabian Press! Lilith rolls back to her feet and does her signature pose, slapping hands with fans after she pops up. But wait - Matsumoto sits up suddenly! She’s behind Lilith, and tosses her clear across the ringside area with a reverse exploder suplex!
Matsumoto stays on top of her as she grabs Lilith and hauls her back up, this time in position for The Side Show, and it connects into the ringpost! Lilith’s crumbles to the outside padding, holding her shattered spine as she rolls in agony. Matsumoto tugs her up by the hair and plants her on the apron, pushing Lilith inside. Knees are thrusted into Lilith’s spine before she finds herself trapped into a side headlock. Matsumoto’s weight bores down onto the neck of her opponent. Trying to force a submission with this everyday working hold, or maybe just make Lilith pass out, Matsumoto cranks back on it. Somehow, however, Lilith gets her feet under her and fights her way up, body shots weakening the grip, and Lilith is able to shoot her off. Drop down, and Lilith hits a corkscrew elbow on the second rebound - but Matsumoto stands tall! This time Lilith runs the ropes, and eats a Yakuza Kick! Both of Matsumoto’s massive gloved hands wrap around Lilith’s throat, squeezing them as the silver and blue haired Ohioan is lifted into the air, hanging by her throat. Matsumoto turns the hold into a bear hug of sorts, and plants Lilith with a spinebuster! Lateral press for the pin!
One…
Two- Kickout!
Lilith’s coughing and sputtering, trying to regain lost air after that spinebuster, as she crawls to the ropes. She starts pulling herself up with the cables, holding her damaged back. But before she can get her bearings, Matsumoto comes from behind and grabs her by the waist, moving them around the ring with Lilith’s feet dangling in the air, before being planted with a German Suplex. But she’s not done with one; she goes for a second, and a third. By then Lilith’s sitting slumped up, hair blocking her face, and unmoving. Matsumoto’s standing over her, rigid, but clearly not caring about her opponent’s well being. She wasn’t before when she broke Lilith’s shoulders, definitely isn’t now that Lilith cost her an opportunity at the Stardust Women’s Championship. Possibly replaying that very moment in her head, Matsumoto deadlifts her from the mat, and connects with a fourth German Suplex, floating over for a lateral press.
One…
Two…
Kickout!
A slow, meek kickout from the Stardust Punk, but she managed to get the shoulder up. Matsumoto responds by grabbing her by the hair and slamming her knuckles repeatedly into Lilith’s temple. She pulls the Ohioan up and brings her to the corner, connecting with a series of brutal, vicious forearms that knock Lilith to the mat. Matsumoto hits the ropes, and nearly wipes her face clear off with a face wash! Matsumoto hangs onto the ropes to look out at the fans while Lilith dangles, unconscious, under her feet. Matsumoto pulls Lilith out of the corner and draws her up by the hair once again. A fistful of silver and blue as Matsumoto towers over her limp opponent. It feels like a formality at the point, but Matsumoto doesn’t go for her finisher yet. She has a message to send, and looks to deliver it as she pushes Lilith to the ropes - LILITH TURNS IT INTO A HANDSPRING! CUTTER CONNECTS! Lilith holds on, switching up her hold, and turns it into a Front Chancery! Lilith wrenches back on the submission, trying with all her might to force a tap out from Matsumoto! The fans are behind her, but Matsumoto’s not, and uses her long legs to get a foot on the rope. But before it can even be broken, Matsumoto pushes off the ropes and to her feet, ripping a sickening knee up the side of Lilith’s head. Lilith is once again down and out, and Matsumoto looks to continue her attack on the spine by stepping on it, making her opponent cry out in pain. She turns Lilith over and deadlifts her into a sitout powerbomb, planting her with authority!
One…
Two…
Kickout!
Matsumoto gets to her feet and turns things over, applying a Boston Crab straight from the pin! Lilith screams in pain as all 260 pounds of Matsumoto sit on her injured back. But she refuses to go down, not like this, and rises up to her forearms. She’s scratching and clawing, forcing her way to the ropes - and she reaches them! Lilith forces a break, and it’s given to her. Matsumoto gives Lilith a moment before drawing her up, measuring her jaw, and lands a forearm that nearly drops Lilith where she stands! Lilith doesn’t go down, however, and fires back with a forearm off her own! Matsumoto barely falters, and they two go forearm for forearm. Once it’s Lilith’s turn once again, the crowd cheers her on, and she CRACKS a vicious forearm across Matsumoto’s jaw, rocking her back a step. Lilith wants more power from the crowd, calling on them as a series of forearms go full force into Matsumoto’s throat! Matsumoto shoves her off, and they get into a slugfest! Lilith hammers her into the ropes, going wild, and the referee forces a break - which leaves her open to a boot from Matsumoto! A cheap shot from The Machine sends Lilith stumbling back, but she has enough wherewithal to respond with a spinning back kick. She handsprings to the ropes again, but this time Matsumoto catches the cutter and shoves her off and into the corner. A fist full of hair is grabbed, and Matsumoto bounces her skull off the turnbuckle!
Matsumoto stalks away, looking for another move, but Lilith’s ire rises, resolve steeling, and she walks it off, asking Matsumoto for more! Matsumoto responds with a back hand chop to the chest, but Lilith doesn’t budge! She’s asking for Matsumoto’s best shot - and she delivers with a two handed chop that knocks Lilith to the mat - BUT SHE KIPS BACK UP! Lilith UNLOADS with a flurry of punches! Irish Whip from the Stardust Punk reversed, she gets a backflip over Matsumoto’s crouched frame. Enzuigiri from Lilith! Matsumoto rises and gets a standing switch gutbuster, nearly breaking Lilith in HALF. She stands over her opponent and scoops her by the waist, deadlift German - BUT LILITH LANDS ON HER FEET! Another spinning back kick connects, spit flying from Matsumoto’s mouth as she drops, rolling to the outside. The fans “OOH!” at the sickening sound it makes, and claps their hands as Lilith climbs to the top rope. She sizes Matsumoto up before turning, COMING OFF THE TOP WITH A STARDUST PRESS TO THE OUTSIDE! But Matsumoto catches her and rolls through, planting her with a spinebuster across the apron, the single hardest part of the ring! All of Lilith’s momentum comes crashing down as her spine may have just been snapped in half. The air is sucked out of the arena as Matsumoto pushes her into the ring, sliding in after her. Lilith’s on her back as she’s lifted straight from the mat, held over Matsumoto’s held as she waltzes around the ring, as if she weren’t holding an entire human above her head, dropping her and catching her with a spinebuster. Matsumoto turns her over for the pin.
One…
Two…
Kickout!
TARUTAROSU isn’t enough to put Lilith away, but Matsumoto seems to think she knows what will. She draws Lilith up, setting her wobbling body in place before hitting the ropes, and nearly DECAPITATING her with a lariat! Matsumoto chuckles to herself as Lilith once again lays comatose, but is stood up against her will so Matsumoto can hit the ropes, looking for a second lariat - BUT LILITH TURNS IT INTO A SPANISH FLY! SHE HOOKS BOTH LEGS FOR THE PIN!
One…
Two…
KICKOUT!
Lilith is sizing her up for a follow up move, but Matsumoto rolls to the outside before she can get things going. This is a strategy she’s used all match. Her power and size has allowed Matsumoto a tight hold on the control, but whenever Lilith gets a fire underneath her, she rolls away and puts it out. However, this time may be different. She’s going up top again, piercing up there - LAST BREATH TO THE OUTSIDE! Matsumoto is down, but Lilith manages to get her back into the ring. She doesn’t go for the pin yet, knowing she’ll have to put the final nail in the coffin if she wants to be the first person to ever pin Matsumoto. And she looks to do this by putting Matsumoto in the drop zone, and going up for a second Last Breath - BUT MATSUMOTO ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! GERMAN SUPLEX FROM MATSUMOTO! She stumbles back, holding her back, clearly feeling the effects from the first Last Breath, but doesn’t give Lilith the time to compose herself. Once again Matsumoto lifts her smaller opponent up for a powerbomb - but Lilith slis out and behind her. Enzuigiri to the back of Matsumoto’s head sends her to a knee, and Lilith looks to take advantage as she runs the ropes - MATSUMOTO WITH THE SKULL FUCK OUT OF NOWHERE! BOTH LEGS HOOKED FOR THE PIN!
One…
Two….
Three!
“Here is your winner, MATSUMOTO!”

Dyln Blaine (c) vs Mike Bailey- MPW Stardust Championship
Our opening contest at Hell on Earth this year was the Stardust Championship match, as MPW outsider and one of the best technical wrestlers on planet earth, Speedball Mike Bailey, looks to capture the MPW Stardust Champion from the cocky, brash, and arrogant champion, Dyln Blaine, flanked tonight by the rest of GenZ, Lilith Brookes his mentor, and his tag team partners, Mikey Montgomery & Eric Taylor. One has to think the numbers game is going to play into this match at some point tonight, but Speedball Mike Bailey might be just talented enough to overcome it.
Referee Jake Clemons takes the belt from Dyln, and rings the bell, the two circling one another, before quickly locking up, Speedball quickly getting the advantage and slipping behind Dyln, before twisting him around, catching him with an arm drag, before trapping Dyln’s arm in an arm bar! Speedball with a an advantage early on! Speedball wrenches the arm, but Dyln quickly back up to his feet, escaping and putting Speedball in an arm lock of his own, but Speedball cartwheels through and reverses the pressure back into a wrist lock on Dyln. Dyln rolls forward, and then backward to get out of the wrist lock, before taking control of Speedball’s arm himself, twisting it around, and trapping Speedball in a hammerlock. Speedball reverses it into one of his own, before transitioning to a headlock takedown, getting Dyln back on the mat. Dyln uses his legs to free himself, before both men quickly kip up to their feet, Dyln taking a swing at Bailey, but Bailey ducks, and launches a roundhouse kick at Dyln’s head, which Dyln ducks! Dyln quickly rolls out of the ring to get his bearings after an early stalemate with Mike Bailey, both men dead even so far!
Dyln takes his time walking around the outside, as Lilith shouts at Clemons to keep Speedball in the ring. Dyln takes a deep breath as Mikey starts massaging his shoulders, and Lilith walks over to coach up her young protege. After a couple of moments, and a short huddle, Dyln rolls back into the ring. Speeball and Dyln circle each other once again before Dyln stops, and extends a hand to Speedball, apparently asking to shake is hand. Mike Bailey looks out to the crowd, and basically asks them if he should accept it, almost the entire Seattle crowd shouting that he should not. Speedball doesn’t listen to our fans, however, and does in fact shake Dyln’s hand, which proves to be a mistake as Dyln tries to kick him in the gut… only for Speedball to catch Dyln’s leg! Speedball saw it coming a suckered Dyln in!
Speedball kicks out Dyln’s other leg before hitting the ropes, Dyln trying to drop down to trip Bailey up but Speedball handsprings over him, before Dyln charges Bailey, Bailey ducking the clothesline and sending Blaine into the ropes, before Bailey leapfrogs Blaine, and then tries to catch him in a roll up, but Dyln rolls over Bailey and hits the ropes, only to get caught by an armdrag from Speedball on the rebound! Dyln gets up and tries to charge Speedball again, only to get dropped by a stiff kick right to the chest! Wow!
Dyln gets up, clutching his chest, and a dropkick from Mike Bailey sends him to the outside! Speedball turns and hits the ropes for a dive, but Dyln jumps back up onto the apron, only to eat a BIG kick from Bailey, knocking him back to the floor! Speedball then turns and runs, before leaping onto the second turnbuckle, and then leaping OVER the top rope, crashing down onto Dyln with a second rope Moonsault to the outside! What an amazing display of athleticism from Speedball Mike Bailey!
Almost the entire crowd here in Seattle starts up a chant of “Speedball! Speedball! Speedball!” as Mike Bailey gets back to his feet, picking Dyln up and chopping him in the chest, sending Dyln stumbling into the guardrail as he tries to get away from Bailey. Speedball shoves Dyln against the ropes, before measuring and blasting Dyln with another kick straight to the chest, before grabbing Dyln and throwing him back into the ring. Dyln picks himself up, using the turnbuckles to do so, before Mike Bailey nails him with another stiff chop. Dyln looks as if he’s regretting all of his life choices at this moment, as Speedball grabs him to whip him across the ring, as Dyln lands in the opposite corner and Bailey nails Dyln with a BIG Yakuza kick in the corner! Dyln looks like he might not know where he is right now due to all these kicks to the head and chest! Mike Bailey lifts Dyln up and slams him down, before Bailey slaps the turnbuckle pad a couple times, getting the crowd clapping, before Bailey jumps off the bottom rope, pushes himself up into the air for some height, and then drops both knees down on Dyln’s sternum! That’s gotta hurt! Mike Bailey into the cover!
1…2… Kickout!
Dyln Blaine out at two. Dyln tries to find his breath again as both Eric Taylor and Mikey Montgomery jump up onto the apron, but Speedball charges both men, taking a swing at the both of them, not connecting but getting both men back down to the floor all the same. As Speedball turns back around, Dyln charges him, but Bailey sends Dyln up and over the rope, Dyln catching himself on the apron. Speedball gets himself out on the apron as well, and tries to kick Dyln, but Dyln catches the leg, and throws one of Bailey’s legs back into the ring, before Dyln kicks the ropes, essentially committing a low blow on Mike Bailey as the rope gets kicked into his beanbag! Mike Bailey cries out in pain, but that’s nothing compared to what Dyln Blaine does next, grabbing Speedball by the head, and dropping him down onto the ring apron with a neckbreaker! Bailey’s head, neck, and spine driven down onto the hardest part of the ring!
Dyln takes a quick victory lap, quite proud of himself for that one, before he grabs Speedball and gets him back into the ring. Dyln grabs Speedball and uses the ropes and his knee to choke Speeball against the ropes, causing Jake Clemons to do his best to pull Dyln off of Bailey. He’s successful, but as Clemons has his back turned, repremanding the young champion, Lilith sneaks up from behind and continues to choke Speedball with the rope! More underhanded tactics by GenZ! Lilith gets off of Speedball just as the ref turns back around, and as Speedball rolls into the corner, Dyln keeps the underhanded tactics going, using his foot to choke Mike Bailey. Clemons once again forces the champion off the challenger, demanding he get Bailey off the ropes and out of the corner. Dyln does just that, grabbing Speedball up and trying to lift him for a suplex, but Speedball blocks it, and shoves Dyln away, before charging him again. Dyln ducks the clothesline, and turns, sliding out of the ring and pulling Mike Bailey’s feet out from under him as he does, before Dyln jumps back up on the apron, over the top rope, before driving his foot down onto the small of Mike Bailey’s back! Ouch! Pins and needles might be shooting up Speedball’s spine after a move like that!
The champion is once again quite proud of himself as he raises his hands up into the air, and soaks in the boos from this capacity Seattle crowd. Dyln then turns and hits the ropes, before charging back, swinging on the ropes as if he was performing a 619, and then drops his full body down onto Speedball, Dyln’s momentum adding to the impact of the splash! Both legs hooked, cover on the challenger!
1….2… Kickout!
Speedball kicks out at two. Dyln gets up and throws Speedball out of the ring, before grabbing Jake Clemons and putting his arm around him, walking Clemons to the other side of the ring, seemingly to have a conversation with him about something. While this happens, on the outside, both Mikey Montgomery & Eric Taylor grab Speedball and hold him up by his arms, as Lilith twirls her bat around, apparently about to try and hit a homerun using Speedball as… well, a ball. Before Lilith can swing however, Clemons turns around and quickly puts a stop to it, yelling at all three of them outside of the ring! Lilith tries to throw her bat away, and plead innocence, as do the former Bitcoin Boiz, letting go of Speedball, but it’s too late!
“You, you, and you! You’re OUTTA HERE!”
Clemons with the ol’ Orlando Wind Up, pointing to the back, Clemons has ejected GenZ from ringside! Dyln tries to grab Clemons to plead the case, but he’s already made his mind up! Mikey, Eric, and Lilith have been thrown out of ringside! This match is one on one from here on out! And Seattle LOVES it!
Lilith, Mikey, and Eric pout to the back, and now Dyln’s all alone. Mike Bailey has a big smile on his face as he knows it too, as he gets up onto the apron. Dyln tries to charge him, but Speedball nails Dyln with a forearm, before grabbing Dyln and slamming his head into the top turnbuckle! Speedball tries to do it again, but Dyln blocks this time, catching Speedball with a back elbow. Dyln jumps up onto the second rope, but before he can do anything, Speedball uses the ropes to leap up and catch Dyln with a big kick to the chin, knocking Dyln back off the ropes! Speedball leaps up to the top rope, and as Dyln turns back around, Speedball catches him with a BIG Missile Dropkick! Holy shit!
Speedball is fired up, and so is this crowd, as he gets back to his feet, measuring Dyln, before catching him with a spin kick to the gut, and then dropping Dyln to his knees with a big downward kick to the shoulder, and then blasting Dyln in the chest with another stiff kick! The educated feet of Speedball Mike Bailey might be the most dangerous in the world, and Dyln is finding that out first hand! Speedball takes a couple steps back, before charging in, and crashing down on Dyln with a Running Corkscrew Shooting Star Press! Cover!
1….2… Kickout!
That was like 2.75, Speedball nearly capturing the title there! Speedball is undeterred though, measuring Dyln as he gets back to his knees, looking for a big head kick, but Dyln ducks, and is quickly back up in the corner. Speedball tries to charge in, but Dyln moves out of the way, before he catches Speedball in the back of the head with a leaping enziguri! Speedball stumbles back, and drops to his hands and knees as Dyln leaps up to the second rope, and crashes down across Speedball’s back with a Swanton, before keeping his momentum going to roll all the way across the ring and back to his feet. With Speedball now flat on his back, Dyln charges again, this time using the corner turnbuckles to launch himself up, and then crash down onto Speedball with an Imploding 450! Then, to finish it off, Dyln picks Speedball back up, before dropping him with a BIG twisting suplex, driving Mike Bailey down into the mat! Dyln hooks the leg, and this might be it! To retain the Stardust Title!
1….2… Kickout!
Speedball out at two again! Dyln almost can’t believe it, and between the fact that this match was still going, and the fans chanting “Lets Go Speedball!” Dyln is looking just a bit annoyed right about now. Dyln gets back to his feet, and climbs up to the second rope, trying to drown out the fans, but before he can do anything, Mike Bailey is back on his feet again as well, before jumping up to the second rope along with Dyln! Dyln tries to knock Speedball off with a couple of right hands, but Speedball shuts Dyln down with a forearm right to the gut! Speedball climbs up to the top rope, like he’s looking for a Frankensteiner, but Dyln is quick to catch Speedball with a couple of right hands in return, shutting down that plan. Dyln shoves Speedball off the top, who moonsaults back and lands on his feet, but lands in such a way that Dyln leaps off and attempts a sunset flip, but Speedball manages to roll through, get to his feet, and BLAST Dyln with a Penalty Kick! Speedball isn’t done yet, as he sets his feet, measures, and then flips backward, before dropping himself down on Dyln with a knees first standing Moonsault! Double knees right to the sternum! Cover!
1….2… Kickout!
The champion out at two, retaining his title at least for the moment! But Speedball could be closing in rapidly! Dyln gets up, clutching his chest, as Speedball measures, and DRILLS Dyln with the big roundhouse kick! Goodnight, sweet prince! New Champ! Cover!
1….2…. KICKOUT!
Dyln Blaine somehow manages to kick out! Perhaps we didn’t give the young champion enough credit for his resilience, holy shit! That kick would’ve knocked most human beings clean out! Dyln rolls out to the apron, and manages to pick himself back up, just as Speedball comes charging in once again, Dyln catches the kick Speedball launches at him, but is dropped when Speedball drops down and sweeps the champion’s legs out from under him. Speedball then gets back up onto the apron, and measures, looking for that standing knees-first moonsault again, but this time, Dyln rolls back into the ring, and both of Mike Bailey’s knees land HARD on the ring apron! Bailey lets out a cry of agony as he falls to the floor, and Dyln finally has a moment to actually get his bearings about him.
Speedball fights back to his feet, and tries to climb back up into the ring, but Dyln jumps up onto the second rope, and as Speedball tries to get back in, Dyln clips him in the back of the head with a knee drop! That might be it, cover on the challenger!
1….2… Kickout!
Bailey out at two! Dyln gets back to his feet, and stands over Speedball, looking down at his opponent as the French-Canadian struggles to stand. Dyln picks him the rest of the way, and nails him with a stiff forearm, but Bailey answers back in earnest, drilling Dyln with one of his own. Dyln doesn’t wanna back down, launching one back, and Speedball responds right away with another one in return! Back and forth these men go, launching stiff forearms back and forth, neither man backing down from the other!
Back and forth the bombs go, until Speedball starts to get better of Dyln, catching him with forearm, after forearm, after forearm, until he tries to wind up for a big one, but Dyln instead catches him with a big kick to the face, dropping him! Dyln waits for Speedball to get back up, before trying for another kick, but Speedball grabs his leg, blocking it, before launching into Rapid Fire Speedball kicks, catching Dyln on both sides as Dyln tries to cover up, before leaping up and catching Dyln with the Enziguri! Dyln’s on shaky legs as he stumbles back into the corner, and Speedball takes a couple of spins for momentum as he charges, looking for a Torando kick, but Dyln catches it, shoving Speedball off of him. Speedball tries to charge back in, but Dyln pulls referee Jake Clemons in front of him. Speedball stops short, and moves referee Jake Clemons out of harms way, before turning right around into a big forearm from Dyln Blaine. Speedball stumbles back, and Dyln pulls himself up onto the top rope, before launching himself back for the Rocket Strap, but Bailey moves out of the way, and Dyln accidentally drops Referee Jake Clemons with his springboard cutter! We just lost the referee!
Clemons wasn’t the intended target, and both Speedball and Dyln are a little in shock over that one, but Bailey knows he just dodged a bullet. Dyln gets back up to his knees, and Speedball tries to go after him, but Dyln, knowing there’s no ref, resorts to tactics that Liltih surely taught him, going low and tailing Mike Bailey with the low blow!
Dyln gets a big grin on his face as he smirks, before turning and waiving to the back, and suddenly, down the ramp, here comes Lilith Brookes, Mikey Montgomery, and Eric Taylor! They were kicked out of this match, but with the referee down, here they come!
Eric and Mikey begin to stomp away at Speedball, as Lilith goes and retrieves her bat from ringside, sliding back into the ring, and presenting the bat to Dyln, as Mikey holds Speedball’s arms. Dyln charges in with the bat, but Speedball leaps up and nails him with a kick to the face! Speedball then sends Mikey out of the ring with an armdrag, and as Eric charges in, drops him with a big kick too, sending Eric out to the floor as well! Lilith tries next, only for Speedball to dodge and send her through the ropes and to the floor, but Dyln tries to charge Speedball from behind. Speedball, with eyes in the back of his head, sends Dyln up and over the ropes, and crashing into his three colleagues on the outside! They crash and burn, and as they try to pick each other up, Mike Bailey climbs up onto the top rope, and sets his feet, before crashing down on all four members of GenZ with a HUGE Corkscrew Moonsault!
Speedball grabs Dyln, and gets him back into the ring, before heading up to the top rope! Speedball measures and leaps off, but Dyln gets out of the way! Speedball rolls to his feet, and as Dyln charges him, Speedball drops him with a big kick to the chest! Dyln gets back up, only to eat a roundhouse that knocks Dyln into the corner! Speedball charges in, spinning as he does, before he catches Dyln with a BIG Torando Kick in the corner! Dyln’s on dream street as he drops to his hands and knees, Speedball up to the second rope, measuring, before Bailey crashes down onto Dyln with a Shooting Star Double Knee Drop! Goodnight Blaine! New Champion! Referee Jake Clemons barely conscious, but conscious enough to manage a count!
1….2….-
Before Clemons hand can come down for a three, suddenly, a large, dark figure wearing a Death Grips hoodie, who just came out from under the ring, yanks Speedball Mike Bailey off of Dyln, and through the ropes to the outside! Clemons registers it as a kickout, but doesn’t seem aware of anything else going on at the moment! This large figure, who removes her hood to reveal, frankly, the most terrifying woman we’ve ever seen in our entire lives- tall, muscular, face stark white with thick, heavy black eyemakeup, almost like corpse paint, has Speedball Mike Bailey by the throat! She lets out what could only be described as a banshee’s whail, before lifting Speedball Mike Bailey up with only one hand, and CHOKESLAMMING Speedball down on the apron! Holy fuck! The sound of Bailey’s spine hitting the ring apron reverborates throughout the arena!
This mystery woman… monster… whatever the fuck you wanna call her, throws Mike Bailey back into the ring, and at this point, Dyln’s up and waiting for Speedball to get back up, measuring him as he does, before springing back and catching Mike Bailey with the Rocket Strap! What the fuck is going on?!
Dyln Blaine hooks the leg!
1…..2….3!
“Here is your winner, and STILL MPW Stardust Champion, Dyln Blaine!”
The huge, terrifying woman slides into the ring, as does the rest of GenZ, Lilith has a hand in front of Mikey and Eric, telling them to stay back, as Lilith eyes this woman as if she’s almost afraid of her. Dyln, on the other hand, receives his MPW Stardust championship and… Starts making out with this girl?! What the fuck is going on?! Who is she?!
Lilith lightens up a bit, and as the kiss ends, grabs Dyln’s arm and raises it high. Whoever she is, she seems to be romantically involved with Blaine, and even worse, another member of this group of shitty kids Lilith Brookes is responsible for bringing to MPW. Speedball Mike Bailey had it won, but apparently, Lilith had an ace up here sleeve the entire time, and the MPW Stardust Championship is still around the waist of Dyln Blaine.
