it sucks that zhai'a is erased from existence after the lv 80 blm quest i like him. he's the only likeable hearer in the entire game and one of the top 5 catboys, and im not just saying that bc i immediately like any and all named male keepers (all 4 of them)

got both ends of the tanking spectrum today!

earlier I was doing rouls and I got a sprout tank who was obviously rough around the edges and not familiar with the low level dungeon we were running but was still oozing with talent and was super polite to boot.

then just now I got a tank who was pulling far too much for my skill level then chose to insult me when we wiped. I was not in the mood to deal with their shit so I told them I'm not doing this, if you're gonna talk to me like this then I'm leaving (as my mental state is. not great tonight!) and they threatened to report me for abuse! in the end I apologized to the rest of the party for leaving and as I was clicking the "leave duty button" everyone was calling the tank toxic as hell which was nice. cathartic even

shri’iia developing her sunlight sensitivity after the tadpole disappears since the protection it gave (assuming that it’s also protecting them from external factors bc astarion is able to walk under the sun) disappears with it. and struggled to get used to the sunlight because she’s now more sensitive towards it…! everything is brighter, much more sharper - similar to when she crash landed and saw the sun for the first time but this time everything is much more vivid. and now she’s squinting a lot more because everything is bright to the point that it hurts her eyes, and she’s frowning more as well (to which astarion tells her to stop or else she’ll get more wrinkles 🙄) and she’s covered up from head to toe every time she goes outside bc I imagine she gets sun burnt quite easily too.

anyway I think at one point she decides to only go out when the sun is setting so it’s less painful for her - which also works for the both of them since astarion can’t go out under the sun as well lol

raiding with people in ff.xiv makes me so nervous bc im a healer and not very good at the game and every tank ever for some reason pulls the whole room every time and i just sit there with my big wet eyes and PRAY they dont go down

wah....I didn't expect to clear golbez ex in the 2nd time ive done this fight but I also died an embarrassing amount of times while having to flipflop every party/clock spot and being braindead (I feel bad for my party but they were nice) but we tried to farm it and hugely unsuccessful- OTL

Pleased to report that they didn't actually change The Burn that much.

Was kinda worried they'd tone it down to snoozefest but nope, almost everything is still there. Ice puddles don't stay quite as long as they used to and that freeze dot didn't seem quite as spicy but otherwise almost everything was there (can't say for sure about that blind dive part, mentor rpr was going to town on dps)
