Ok i literally was waiting so much to see Lucifer n Lilith being a really happy and cute maried couple and now yall telling me that THEY DIVORCED??????? IM LITERALLY CRYIN WHAHT??? 😭

Also the fact that Alastor was immediatly so pissed when Luci just steped into hotel is really strange. Maybe something happened between them that we dont know so far? Cuz purposely making Luci mad literally 5 secs after u met each other is really weird.

AND OMG THIS SONG IS TOTALLY NEW FAVOURITE BY NOW, THEY LITERALLY DID AN ELECTRO SWING SONG LIKE HELL YEAH!!! N THE FACT THAT LUCI OUT OF NOWHERE STARTS PLAING VIOLIN AGGRESSIVELY AND THEN SHUTS ALASTOR UP WITH AN ACCORDION IN THIS IS THE BEST TGING EVER.

Ok we actually now know from Husk that someone actually having Alastors soul! Just think about it: someone have AN OVERLORDS SOUL. Not ex-overlord like Husk, AN ACTUAL OVERLORD. Is this even possible??

This last song made me cry (again). I feel so bad for Luci, he was abandoned by heaven n he just doesnt want the same fate for his beautiful daughter, cuz she is the only thing he live for (i want him to be my dad so much omg..)

Also when Lilith took little Charlie away from Luci, it was sad, but it actually made me think, what if Lilith will be an antogonist? What if she will be the bad person? Maybe the main vilian even. I think if that will actually happen everyone will go CRAZY. But thats just my lil thought.

Also i expected heaven to be much more strict place with many rules, where noone is alowed to swear. But turned out that its actually just a hell with better people and more rules, thats all. And its actually really strange that u can swear in heaven. Im not talking about Adam n Lute, cuz theyre exterminators and clearly just awhul ppl, this guy infront of heavens gates actually said fuck. Maybe im just wrong, but isnt swearing unacceptable in christianity?..

Also HELL YEAH we nailed it! We were right about Vaggie being a fallen angel. But the reason why she fell.... She was an exterminator and literally just didnt kill one child (which is really shows us that she have a kind heart) BUT SHE WAS EXPELED FOR IT IN SUCH HORRIBLE WAY.

I JUST DONT HAVE ENOUGH RAGE TO DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I HATE THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS. I REALLY HOPE WHEN HEAVEN DECIDES TO REDEEM PPL FROM HELL, THEY BOTH WILL GO TO FUCKING HELL FOR ALL THOSE VILENCE THEY BROUGHT TO WORLD, THAT WOULD BE FUCKING HILARIOUS.

Also Cherri Bomb is being kinda toxic friend to Angel n i dont like that.

ALSO ANGEL STOOD UP AGAINST VAL!! HELL YEAH, SLAY SPIDERBOI!!! IM LITERALLY NOT SCARED OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO HIM WHEN HE WILL GO BACK TO HIS JOB!! IM NOT SCARED AT ALL!!!!

Ok this last song WAS SO EPIC!! ESPECIALLY WHEN CHARLIE N EMILY DID UNO REVERSE ON ADAMS SONG FROM EP 1!!

AND THAT PART WHEN ADAM REVEALED THAT VAGGIE IS AN ANGEL WAS SO EPIC TOO I LITERALLY GOT CHILS

and Charlies reaction to that was actually really heartbreaking

And everything ended up with Adam winning. I really hope that justice will overtake in this whole situation and Charlies plan will work. And im really interested to see Charlie n Vaggies relationships after that reveal. I honestly think that Charlie will forgive her, but its still really interesting.

Wow, it took me long enough to make this post.. I really like direction this show goes, n i can not wait for the next 2 eps!!

the religion of the galactic horde

“You seem reluctant to help me. But I only wish to use your weapon to bring peace to the darkest corners of the universe. (Glimmer: Peace? If you activate the Heart of Etheria, there will be no one left.) Yes. No war, no pain. Old worlds swept aside, a new beginning for the universe.” --Horde Prime explaining his motivations to Glimmer

the horde in shera was definitely inspired by Christianity and uses a lot of its imagery, the most iconic being the baptism scene. it certainly gives off the vibes of a christian or christian adjacent cult, but what is its actual doctrine? i have some thoughts about that.

first here are what i consider to be the 3 main differences between real christianity and the horde:

Their jesus didn't ascend to heaven. He's still with them.

They don't have a larger creator god. They worship horde prime like he is a living god but they don't believe that he created the universe.

They have no focus on the afterlife

this is going to be long.

before i begin heres the sparknotes version of christianity for anyone not familiar. I am not evangelizing this, just think of it as LORE.

Once upon a time there was a guy named Jesus. He was the son of the one true god, who both created everything in the universe, is everywhere and knows everything, and controls the afterlife. Jesus is god born as a mortal person, sent by god to teach all of humanity the errors of their evil ways so they can repent and go to the good afterlife when they die. There're two afterlives, a good one and a bad one, heaven is the good one and its run by god and his army of angels, which are divine beings that god can send to earth to do things. The bad one is called hell.

Anyway, in his time on earth jesus was the only person ever to never do anything bad ever (called sin). He tried to teach people how to be good but was Too Good for this Cruel World and was killed. 3 days later he came back from the dead, proving his divinity. Some time after that however, he ascended into heaven without dying, telling his followers to spread the word because hes going to be coming back. Christians today are still awaiting his return. In the meantime, christians follow his teachings left behind in holy texts.

The crux of christianity is to get to heaven when you die, and this can only be done by following the teachings of jesus christ, believing in god, and believing that jesus was the son of god. Its a given that everyone will do bad things at some point in their lives so you're supposed to pray to god and ask for forgiveness regularly and if you really mean it then god will forgive you.

thats the basics.

to my first main point from above, if we posit that horde prime is the jesus equivalent of the horde religion, because hes treated as a living god, his goal is to spread his philosophy throughout the universe, then in the horde religions jesus never ascended into heaven. this would be like if jesus in our world rose from the dead and just picked up where he left off, and never died after that and was alive today. that would be pretty good proof of divinity.

to my 2nd point, theres nothing in the show that suggests that horde prime thinks that he created the universe. this means that he did not get his divinity from anywhere but inside himself, hes not claiming that hes the rightful ruler of the known universe for any other reason besides his ideas are the best.

the 3rd point is that the show does show horde prime or the horde caring one bit about the afterlife, save for one line from wrong hordak.

"Brother, I hope you, too, are full of only love for Horde Prime and have no crippling doubt eating at your soul."

meaning that they have the concept of the soul. which is very interesting and ill get to it, but on the whole the hordes focus seems to be on the here and now. this is a huge departure from christianity because chrisitanity is all about getting to the afterlife. that is the reason that christians are supposed to follow christ and recruit as many people as possible to do the same, because if they dont, they or other people will supposedly go to hell when they die. i say supposedly because at funerals, even if the person who died wasnt a believer, in my experience no christian would ever ever ever insinuate that someone went to hell.

but the difference still stands. following real christian ideology is supposed to have benefits for the individual in the afterlife, while in the horde religion salvation seems to only be found by submitting to prime in this life and being either a tool that he can use to further his goal of purifying the universe or by letting him remove you from it.

on top of all that, horde prime has the hive mind, which he uses to control the thoughts of all his followers. this means that theres no room for a bible study, no need of a holy text at all in fact, and no room for interpretation. horde prime delivers orders to your brain directly and can tell if you think anything out of line. real Christianity does have the idea that a sin that you just think about doing is as bad as actually doing it, but in the horde these thoughts can be easily discovered and punished.

the horde religion seems to me to be a strangely secular version of christianity with only the bad parts remaining; the control, the blind faith, the certainty that you are right and everyone else is wrong, the not questioning authority. with none of the good aspects like community, and good deeds. it is a cult in the truest sense of the word, a religion that begins and ends with one person only, that person being horde prime.

so, if you take horde prime out of the equation, what, if anything, would be left?

i find the plight of the horde clones here to be the most interesting. we know that they do have thoughts about their religion, as it was hordaks belief that he could earn his way back into horde primes god graces that kept him going all those years in despondos, and wrong hordak is distraught when he discovers that horde prime lied about krytis.

unlike both the chipped people we see in the show and real religious converts, the clones were born into this cult that values blind obedience only, and have no prior ideology or cultural identity to fall back on when they are taken out of it.

so to answer this question, i must add some conjecture to horde primes backstory and how the clones see themselves in horde primes universe. I already wrote up a brief backstory idea for horde prime/the clones and have it posted on here somewhere. I'm not going to dig it up but you could probably find it in the #horde prime tag on my blog if you dig hard enough.

To summarize it though, I have it as horde prime was once a regular (bad) dude who became a cult leader under the premise of preaching peace --> he becomes disillusioned with people and even his own followers because he doesn't actually like people, he likes manipulating them. --> this and the power of being a cult leader go to his head and he starts to think that he is the only person in existence capable of living a moral life and everyone else needs to be saved from themselves, the world would be a better place if he could just make everyone's decisions for them. --> he somehow gets a hold of the technology needed to set up the hive mind, be it by inventing it himself, stealing it, finding it, or being gifted it.

I'll pause here to address the theory that horde prime was originally an eldritch being that simply possessed a dude who would become the template for the clones. I think there's enough stuff in the show that this is a valid read and might even be canon but i don't really care for it. For me, what makes horde prime a compelling villain is that he's a very human evil, so having him actually be an evil demon thing instead of a really bad but believable dude who got near ultimate power weakens his character. BUT, i’m not going to address it in my comic so i'll leave it open as to whether he's got that going on or not. If he is, the clones don’t know about it and neither they nor the other characters have any way of discovering it. IF he is though, it would happen here. I could see it being a cool idea for him to get the hive mind from the eldritch being that would then possess him and haunt his lineage for time immemorial as a deal with the devil sort of thing, but he has to be a bad person before that.

Anyway he gets the hive mind--> he gets all of his followers to chip themselves --> gets those people to chip everyone else on his home planet --> use his planet wide army to harvest all resources on the planet and build his first space fleet and take to the skies and start his conquest--> realize that if he is to succeed hes going to need to both become immortal and find a steady source of new followers because chipped people die eventually and he doesnt care about people enough to figure out a way to keep a self sufficient population of followers alive, he just wants people around to adore him and do his bidding--> invents his cloning system-->

and heres the big one,

his original body has to die so he can upload his consciousness into a new clone.

and THAT, to the clones, would be the moment that horde prime becomes a god.

his reliance on the hive mind and vast network of followers are what give him his godly abilities, but just as the horde clones could not exist without being cloned from horde prime, so too could horde prime not exist as he does in the show without them.

i see it as both a christlike sacrifice and a cyclical system of debt and sacrifice. horde prime dies for our sins, so that he might continue to purify the universe so that there will be no more death and more clones will be born, while the clone hes possessing has to essentially die by giving himself up entirely to become the new prime so all this can happen too, and to repay primes death. not all clones can become the next prime however, but all must be ready to die for him, hence horde prime having clone infantries despite also having robots he could send instead.

i dont have clear thoughts about what the green goo is, but horde primes words about his brothers lending him their life force go along with this idea. the clones give him theyre life force, so he can give it back to them.

another interesting aspect of this is that prime always portrays himself as a brother to his followers, never a father as christ is portrayed as in christianity. i know this is from hordak and horde prime being actual brothers in the 80s show but ive seen this trope come up a few times in media before, where a man raises a kid but has them call him their brother instead of dad. it seems so deliberate. because a parents job is to take care of you, but a sibling, might take care of you sure, but thats not their job. its like hes deliberately trying to place himself on the same level as his ‘sibling’ so he can demand the same amount of respect you would give to a parent without taking on the responsibility to not... ya know... screw them over in the head? idk it seems very slimy to me. but that says more about prime as a character than how the clones see him.

and we still have the concept of the soul to fit in here somehow, and do they have an afterlife? im going to say no to the afterlife. theres just not enough in the show to go off of and everything that we do know about horde prime points to him only caring about himself in life. HOWEVER, there is nothing more quintessentially christian than the concept of hell and i think that will be of use here.

since the creation of the clones is tied with the creation of their religion, this would put the clones themselves less as allegories of people who need to be saved and more as the horde version of angels. in my telling here, horde prime views all people who do not submit to his will as net negatives to the universe who have to be removed for peace to exist, so by this view the chipped people are the saved, the people that horde prime kills are the sinners, and his military campaign is one long apocalypse slowly working its way through the universe, with the clones carrying out his righteous judgement. but the afterlife isnt involved in this, so even if some chipped people are left alive, eventually they will all die out, and then it will be just horde prime and is clones in a perfect, peaceful starless sky, and thats what heaven is.

getting to heaven is the main goal of real christianity and it is the same in horde religion, but heaven isnt a place in the horde cosmology, its a physical goal that has to be created. not all clones will make it to heaven of course, because most will die before they reach total destruction of the universe but the clones arent supposed to think of themselves as individuals anyway. they have to be willing to die for horde prime and die for the cause or be cast out and thats hell.

i dont see prime as someone who would kill his own followers outright too often even though he could. plus they arent supposed to value their individual lives the same way normal people do anyway it doesnt seem like a real punishment, they need something worse than simple death to fear. so by my view hell for the clones is separation from prime. it can be in life or death. no matter how bad it is in the horde being on the outside of it has to seem worse, and thats where the concept of the soul comes in. when one is a part of the hive mine, their soul is with prime. they are not supposed to have a will or any thoughts beyond love for prime, its essentially the same as not having a soul but they think of it as being at peace. being cast out is to be never at peace and would be told to them as being the worst possible thing that could ever happen to someone because it corrupts the soul.

“a lot of unpleasant things happen in the horde so just imagine how terrible it must be outside of it! you cant because i protect you from that. now get in the goo, this is for your own good” - horde prime probably

this is why outsiders are so resistant to submitting to primes light and also why its ok to kill them, in the hordes view.

so, to start wrapping thigs up, there is no horde without horde prime. the religion starts and ends with him. because he is supposed to be the only person ever to be able to make true moral and just decisions, without him is followers cant take any actions without worrying that they are going against primes will. since they have no holy text they cant extrapolate and try to figure it out either. its up in the air whether or not they are going to find a way to get the horde to make the jump from cult to regular religion.

albert plays second string quarterback, naturally, and first string gets injured on a missed audible and albert has to make the pitch he’s missed a thousand times in practice, and he’s freaking out (this is literally just a plot point of that godforsaken movie, watch remember the titans just once for my sanity)

race is in that very stereotypical band section of the bleachers, but the instant first string got injured he’s abandoning his post with the megaphone and SPRINTING to where albert is and just pushes his hair out of his eyes, gives him a very dramatic, very race like kiss, shoves his helmet into his hands and says “give ‘em hell, baby” and that’s really all albert needs

also, just like in this movie that is for some reason a really accurate portrayal of albert as a football player, he checks the shit out of the lineman on the other team that broke first string’s hand and the other team tries to call unnecessary roughness on the goddamn quarterback

Bruno’s the type of guy whose demeanour makes you feel safe, that if you follow under his wing, things are gonna be ok.

But since he’s doing the heavy lifting for his squad, sometimes a guy’s gotta have someone to do the same for him.

He wants someone that he can confide in, that cares for him in subtle ways and doesn't take his excuses for not taking a break for an answer - to an extent.

More often than not you might leave him his lunch on his desk when he’s swamped with work. Or leave him his coffee, or a note, or a kiss on his temple. He’s simply putty in your hands when you do that.

You still love him even though he’s got a schedule and a business to take care of, and even though he told you that at the start of the relationship, and you knew the challenges, even now you powered through because you love him so much and he might just float out of the chair and into the sky he’s high on love.

You’ll complain that he hasn’t been out of his study, that he’s missing on sleep, and he’ll tell you gently that he has work to do, but both of you know it's a front for his responsibility.

Mista is your standard fuck boy for a first impression but he’s so well put together with everything else with his tastes that you wonder what the hell you did to impress him

Mista wants a companion, someone to treasure the world with - probably someone that likes to try new things, go new places, do stuff with him

Super chill, he’s very laid back - he probably needs someone to be a little switched on than him in his day to day life

‘Hey Mista, did you get that report to Bruno yet?” Will give you a big kiss and a thank you if you do so as he tears ass to get it done

He’s got a know how for good food, he cares about his appearance,, he obviously is proud of his dress sense - he needs someone that respects him and his lifestyle choices.

It doesn't matter if you’re a chill person or someone that’s really stressed out, as long as you let him be himself and enjoy life with him, that’s the type that Mista is on the lookout for

You might be shy or flustered about whatever and he’ll always have this dopey smile on his face because he loves you so much

He’s a big romantic at heart though, he will absolutely wine and dine you

If you have a connection with him, he’ll encourage you to be your best

He’s not afraid to voice his opinions and get into fights - it's how he was raised on the streets

He’s opened his heart too and been abandoned, so sometimes the way he acts is a way for his survival

Despite being known for having a short fuse, Fugo is a pretty emotionally sensitive guy

Someone that’d supports him unconditionally definitely helps, and makes him feel like he’s not up against the world by himself with the lot that he’s been given in life

He’s not a villain in your eyes, when he runs away from the gang before the fight with Diavolo,

You’re with him through thick and thin, and you’ll never know how much you truely helped him during that crossroads in his life

Fugo appreciates someone that’s intelligent, and he’s not afraid of asking questions that pique his natural curiosity

If you’ve got a special interest, or if he has knowledge in an area, he’s happy to either talk about his interest if you ask him, otherwise he’s happy to hear you talk about whatever you’re into at the moment

He’s alike to Abbacchio that his anger manifests itself for a myriad of reasons, but he’ll be drawn to you regardless if you’re there by his side and give him patience

He’ll be drawn to a gentle presence, someone that’s calm, an antithesis to the storm raging inside him

He’ll appreciate everything you do for him, and the amount of time you stick by him, even if you’re being a comforting presence

It's my day off, why not

So I've mostly been ignoring my cranky response to this post about Castiel's role in Dean's character development in season four because I accidently misgendered @queergoblin by not bothering to do my due diligence and I felt bad. I want to be an asshole about fandom shit, not people's identities. I was just going to let it go, but now I have strangers telling me to Do Better.

So I will.

I will break down why I hated @las-lus's post.

i know we talk a lot about Dean being a faithless men finding religion in Cas (and I'm not here to say he doesnt, he absolutly does)

When? Where? Dean's faith and ability to keep fighting is found in his relationship with Sam. Dean's worst moments and biggest mistakes are tied to his need to have Sam with him forever. But so are his most heroic and graceful moments because Sam's faith in him pushes him to become a better version of himself.

Here I'll back it up with canon:

Dean stops running away from his fears in season three when Sam begs him to be his big brother again. Dean doesn't give in to Michael because the idea of letting Sam down wasn't something he could bring himself to do. Sam saves Dean from the mark by refusing to believe that the real Dean is anything but a good man. Dean waves a loaded gun in Sam's face and Sam gets him to stand down by reminding Dean of his protective (if overbearing) nature.

And then he finds out the angels are as bad as the demons and that god hasn't spoke to any of them and he is just a pawn in their hands and you know what he does?

he prays for Cas.

Dean prays to Cas as his last hope to save Sam. He agreement isn't hinged on faith, it's him offering up goods (himself) in exchange for what matters most to him (saving Sam).

he trusts Cas when he shoves him against a wall and pulls out a knife.

Yeah that's a really good moment for Dean and Castiel. Season five and especially season six build on the brothers-in-arms dynamic that they formed during their battles against heaven and hell. Castiel is earning Dean's faith and trust in this moment, but it's a big stretch to call it anything religious-like.

Dean not only find religion in Cas, he finds when he has no reason to believe.

There's a big asterixis this lovely comment is forgetting: season six and beyond. The payoff for Dean and Castiel's growing friendship in season 4-6 is the betrayal that Dean wasn't expecting and found difficult to recover from. In seasons 7-15, Dean and Castiel's relationship is often defined by tension and opposing goals. The fact that, despite how much they hurt and betray one another, they still find themselves forgiving one another is a potent part of their relationship.

I get Dean/Cas. It's not something that appeals to me but I get why other people would dig it. What I don't get is the (mostly) nonsense fanon that I just explained why I disagree with. It does two things I dislike: it erases Sam and then pastes Sam's story onto Castiel's.

I'd like to think that if I did ship Dean/Cas, I would have a lousy time in fandom. Shit like this and Claire/Jack's Two Dads and Married Happily Ever After is just so opposed to what's actually there between Dean and Cas that I'm boggled as fuck.

Dean/Cas is brothers in arms formed in one war and broken by the one that follows. It's betrayal. It's enemies to friends to enemies to friends once again. It's type of love from Castiel that Dean is incapable of returning and Castiel knows that but sacrifices himself anyway so that Dean can live to fight the good fight. This pairing I get, even if I don't care much about it.

Also, for people accusing me of being threatened by Dean and Castiel's relationship. I'm not threatened. It's Dean/Castiel shippers literally cribbing from Sam and Dean's relationship and me pointing that out.

Ok! So! The other day on my way to work I was listening to Alastor's Game, and I'm known to just like tie my characters into shit so I did! Basically, the story is Bonbon makes a deal with Alastor to see Frederick, who was killed. Of course, he promises Alastor his soul, but he never specifies which one and yadda yadda. He does get dragged down to hell due to Alastor tricking him into having to make another deal. Of course, Frederick isnt in hell cause he is uwu innocent bean (which is the reason Bonbon had to make another deal cause Alastor said he would search hell for him knowing damn well he was in heaven.)

The whole ig "au" follows Bonbon in hell at the Hotel trying to get into hevean, but he still has to deal with Rex and Rabi, who both have a knack of sending him into a homicidal rage.

I ended up having to build hc and add onto what we know of Viv's hell just so I could develope some of the story. Idk if this is canon but I have a thing where demons choose their name when they get into hell, while angels are assigned a name. I've yet to think of a name for Frederick but Bonbon chose the name Redwood, as the tree has a lot of meaning to him and he didnt want to name himself after his twin sister.

Bonbon was orginally going to have two faces, since he has mulitple souls in his body, but I scrapped the idea due to complications and my lack of art skill.

I also created a hc that the "sinner" demons only have a very limited say in what they look like and can only choose a single attribute. (i.e. Angel Dust choose his body type and that was all he could choose, stuff like that). Bonbon choose not to be attractive, as that was something that caused him to get attacked while living. This, sadly, doesnt really help him since his soul still has certain qualities that cause people to target him, and it becomes a whole problem at one point with V🤮l.

Bonbon is also very powerful due to him having been Half-Sprite when living. (This is a species I created when I was 12 and have been tweaking and altering ever since. Its complicated, but basically Bonbon was exactly half human and half demon, which is rare for Half-Sprites which is why he has a lot of unique 'powers' (like being FUCKING IMMORTAL) but of course they all come with a price (i.e, literally everything in his life seems to go wrong, he is borderline insane, ect.). He isnt as powerful as, say, Alastor, but he is up there. There is a point where Frederick is apart of the execution day and BOY does Bonbon go bat shit that day .-.

Anyway this is all I have I didnt go too far with it I do have a sketch of Redwood but I havent finished it and it's very basic. Bonbon never died so the scars he has are very reminiscent of the ones he had while living and the chains are there because he is still a slave to his past. Also he is a rabbit b/c Bonbon is actually my human version of Toy Bonnie so yeah >.> (all of the ocs I mention most likely are a human version of a fnaf character ok I have a PROBLEM)

Also yes all of this was created in the span of 30 minutes the sketch was done after work. Redwood had no red or pink in his color pallet. It is mostly blue and black, with a hint of brown b/c Frederick was such a huge part of his life that it his color transferred over. I didnt draw it in but there is a patch of fur on his chest that is colored and that's the brown. His color pallet changes when Rex or Rabi takes control. Rabi does have red, but that's because him being all white would be too boring. Rex causes the pallet to change to black and silver. Redwood's eyes are of course green, Rex has pure white with red irises and Rabi has pure black with white irises.

Calliope - oooh, shes pretty. She looks so nice, and Momma speaks highly of her for advice.

Cuckoo - They are so kind looking. Will instantly trust Cuckoo upon meeting them.

Bingo - calm, yes perfect. uwu

Carney - a wild one, would be too shy to want to stick around Carney but if Ally was with him shed feel more comfortable. uwu shes just not a full of energy type of person

Orion and Hunter - due to the feeling both of them give her. Kind of creep her out a bit. Its the smile again.

If he finds out she can see into the future ooh man prepare for lots of quesitons about it and of course Felix will start to worry and wonder if things will work out. He likes Cordelia and loves all of his new family he wont want to leave it anytime soon uwu so he might look to Maggie for some reassurance

Billy - will be transfixed by Billys eyes, with the two colors. Hes never seen it before so itll be interesting but Hes going to wonder if Billys a demon x3 and just flat out say it in front of people.

Atlas - Deerman! Do your antlers fall off like regular deer? Do you have hooves? No, awe that would have been so cool. I think it’d be cool to be part animal? Are you secretly part animal? like...*whispers* a deer superhero? *dreamy eyes* You are married to a very pretty lady.

regrading the ep. 4x10 “Heaven and Hell”.

ok so... on 4x7 “it’s the great pumpkin, sam winchester” we have castiel telling dean that he in fact does have questions. doesn’t know what’s right and wrong anymore. and 4x10 i think is even more heavily a turning point for cas?

it literally starts with him saying “we’re here for anna... she has to die.” saying that, even though he does have questions. he’s under strict orders, anna is a fallen angel, therefore she needs to die. but does he really believe that? i think not. he’s still willing to go through with it at this point, but he does question it. anna was his superior and that has something to do with it, it feels unnatural to him to command her death sentence because he once took orders from her. but more importantly. he has started to question (again -- but with naomi and her memory wipes and brainwashing he doesn’t remember that he’s rebelled before). why must they murder anna? just because she became human? she didn’t do anything wrong, did she?

dean: you’re some heartless sons of bitches, you know that? castiel: as a matter of fact, we are. and?

that’s cas’s survival method. he starts having questions, emotions, which angels aren’t meant to have, it frightens him, he deliberately makes himself emotionless. it’s easier. it’s what’s expected of an angel.

also... he agrees with dean. it’s an attempt to seem like a proper, just, unerring soldier of god, but he agrees with dean. he knows that what they’re doing with uriel is heartless. he literally says that.

but he still goes with his orders.

castiel: i’m sorry. anna: no. you’re not. not really. you don’t know the feeling.

cas does know the feeling. he is genuinely sorry at this point. anna doesn’t see it, but he is. he doesn’t want to hurt anna, but he won’t dare to go against his orders, not because of what would be done to him but because the idea of deviating from the concept of what angels are supposed to be scares him. questioning orders, faith, anything, scares him.

when alastair attacks castiel and he can’t defend himself, and then dean attacks alastair to make him stop, that’s another important moment for cas. he doesnt understand why dean would help him, he pretty much thinks that dean despises him (dean has been quite vocal about how angels are dicks) so why would he go against someone as powerful as alastair, the very demon who traumatized dean by teaching him how to torture souls in hell, in order to help cas?

and as he watches anna take back her grace, pretty much gazes at her doing it, even if he could have stopped her at that point, he wouldn’t have. not anymore. had anna not managed to snatch her grace from uriel, had they been able to capture her, cas would not have been on board anymore. he understands something, watching anna take back her grace. not consciously, probably. but a part of him understands why anna is so much better than him. with free will, with free emotions.

and, yeah, he betrayed anna later. he was the reason she was sent in heaven’s prison. i think on s4 cas struggles a lot about whose side he is on. the heavenly host or humanity. so he goes back and forth.

Satan and Me Asks

1.) for the questions thing - are you cool w sexuality headcanons for ur characters??

I’m assuming you mean if people in the fandom make sexuality headcanons? And of course. You guys can do whatever you want. I know I’ve only posted about a few sexualities, so there’s not much to go on anyway.

2.) Is hell really gone out of Satan forever? How long does Nat's wish last?

Hell’s not gone from Satan. It’s still inside of him, but he doesn’t hear the constant voices in his head anymore because of Natalie’s wish. That was what she sold her soul for, so the wish will stay in effect the rest of his existence.

3.) Will we be seeing Pax or Felix soon? What about that small little boy?

Pax and Felix looking for Zadkiel is kind of a side plot in the comic, so I can’t say for sure when they will intercept. My guess is anywhere in the next 15 updates?

4.) Do satan's earings indicate his emotions as well?

When Satan is in “human” form, his earrings are like his horns. They will change between yellow and red based on his mood.

5.) is gabriel ok?

At the moment, no. He’s in considerable distress, but he will be. You’ll see this arc.

6.) So im a ask, how does satan really feel about nat being damned to hell and him not being able to figure out how to stop it? He seems to care if she does.

He doesn’t like it at all, but since they can’t change it atm he is choosing to not think about it.

7.) Has Satan thought about sex with Nat?

He’s been too preoccupied with the Apocalypse and the recent Titus thing (and now Natalie being sick) to really think about anything like that, I’d think. That’s not to say he’s never thought about sex in general, but just the plot never called for him to so? He really hasn’t.

8.) any ships you generally don't like?

I mean, my taste in ships change all the time and have no effect in canon. There are some ships that become/are already canon that I don’t care for, and there are some I really like that I know will never be canon. For example, I used to hate Ganthea, but now I like it. It really depends. I flip-flop around a lot. I’d feel bad though listing ships I don’t care for, just because I don’t want to make anyone feel bad for liking something. Just because I don’t shouldn’t mean that you guys can’t like them.

So in the spirit of not making someone feel bad IDK if I can fully answer this question.

9.) any insights into how angel society works/what it generally is like for the various background angels? what do they get up to? are they all the same ones who were created back at the Beginning? how do they view current comic events (if they generally know anything)? what do they think of their 'leaders' (the archangels)?

Loaded question lol Well, the angels canonically in the bible are ranked. There are a lot of classes of angels; the archangels are actually second from the bottom. They’re literally just protectors and foot soldiers, I guess that’s the closest I could equate them to. So the vast majority of angels are just the society in the comic, whereas the ones who follow the archangels actually enlist to be in the army.

Each archangel leads a squad (except Raphael, who only works with the medic angels in the hospital). Each squad has a certain duty (ex: Jophiel’s is trained in recovery and surveillance, Zadkiel’s was p much the ones who take on tough jobs that have a low mortality rate, Gabriel’s is trained in support and backup to other troops, etc). They’re sorted and placed under an archangel depending on their test results. I actually do plan to do a dumb little comic about angels enlisting at one point.

Angel society as a whole aren’t 100% up to current events, because the archangels and higher up angels dictate what information is allowed to be trickled down. They also don’t want to cause alarm so they bend the truth a little bit. Right now majority of the angels aren’t even aware what really happened with Titus (like they didn’t know that someone was trying to overthrow Satan).

Not all of them were created at the beginning. Some were, others are fairly new. It really depends. It also depends on their personality if they like the archangels or not, so it’s hard to lump them all in together. For the most part the angels not in the army are blissfully unaware of the things around them. They stay in Heaven and mind their own business.

10.) Why is Angel Michael so upset about Human Michael? And what does Human Michael think about Angel Michael?

Angel Michael is upset not at Mike P, but the situation. He likes humans but he doesn’t want to be a human. So the idea of being put into his body upsets him a lot. Mike P. doesn’t know anything about Michael; he’s just trying to process the information. When he does, he will want to get to know him.

11.) Have any of the angels actually crushed on a human before

Quite a few have, but virtually none act on it. They would be executed if they procreated with a human, as would the nephilim baby. It’s a “look but don’t touch” situation.

12.) okay okay you wont tell us the end game ships & das okay, but can you tell us who you personally ship Natalie with?

Natalie’s the rare character that I can ship with 95% of the cast, if written a certain way. The list would be too long lol

13.) Do we get anything about Luce's past in the comic? I know there are parts from where he's an angel but maybe how he grew up or him as smol babe? Perhaps some cute scenes where they interact with God as their father and cutesy things?

There will be comics like this, yes.

14.) What are the places/businesses Ipos and Sheila set up in the past?

Ipos spent a lot of time around various parts of the world. During the 1700-1800s he stayed in Ireland, where he met Sheila officially. She spent most of her time in the Southern Hemisphere, and stayed in Australia for a while.

Ipos was in the military for a while, too, so he could see more places, learn more about humans, keep tabs on everything. The real Ipos he’s based off of is actually an information keeper, so I tried to keep that true to form in the comic as well. Under different guises, Ipos and Sheila have run restaurants, bars, brothels, a hardware store, gun shops, camping supply stores, construction companies, real estate businesses.

15.) Are all demons fallen angels, or were some just always demons? Also, is it possible for angels to have kids, either with each other or with humans?

95% of demons are Fallen Angels. The few that aren’t are either born from bad circumstance/human sorrow, or have been made in a pact with another higher level Fallen. (I actually have a series that explains the first contracts with demons but that won’t debut for another few years I’d surmise. It’s touched upon as well in future “Here it Comes” updates.)

Angels can have children with each other, though it’s rare, and they can reproduce with humans. Nephilim, human and angel children, are very strong and very unpredictable so they’re viewed as taboos. In the bible it’s a big reason why God flooded the earth with Noah and his ark. Angels had copulated and had children with humans so they drowned them and their parents. (I’ve heard speculation that Goliath from David and Goliath was a nephilim baby too, but IDK how accurate that is).

16.) What is Kristi's family like?

Kristi has her parents, Norma and Ray Lange, and an older sister who is in college, Lily. Kristi’s mother is high maintenance, which is probably where Kristi got it from. Her father grew up in town with Alex McAllister, and he used to bully him a lot. He had a crush on Carla (but was stuck dating her cousin), so that’s another reason he doesn’t like Alex. He settled for Kristi’s mom when he met her later, so it’s not exactly a love built marriage. He’s not too interested in his home life. Kristi’s sister is easy going and nice. She has a good relationship with Kristi.

17.) Does Raphael have any fears about like real physical stuff/like how people have fears of snakes, spiders etc

Raphael doesn’t have a lot of fears like that. His are more mental stuff. But he is scared of bats. Won’t go near them.

18.) Are there things about the story that you wish you could change but can't 'cause it's too late? if so, what?

Yeah, there are a couple. I wish I did more with Jericho. I watered him down for the comic, which I’m regretting. He was going to be more problematic than that. I’d like to keep Ipos and Sheila around a little longer, but they died p quick. There are scrapped updates I wish I went through with, but I can’t do anything about that now.

19.) will we see pestilence and famine interacting with natalie and satan?

Not sure about Famine, but Pestilence yes.

20.) Would it be fair to ask about what kind of piercings each character has? I know that each has their own unique ones and since we don't always see all the piercings (as with Anthea, whose belly piercings aren't revealed until that one episode) and it would be cool to know all the piercings that each has.

That’s a lot to list, but I’ll just say what piercing someone has if it’s under clothing.

Zadkiel has lower back dermals, Pax has a Apadravya, Jophiel has hip dermals.

21.) So how come Lucifer only uses "Festus" and doesnt call Felix "Felix"?

Lucifer’s more formal like that. I’m sure if Felix pushed the issue he would change, but it’s really force of habit cuz that name comes to mind first when he talks/thinks about him.

22.) How do you make updates do you write out a script or do you just make it up as you go?

I make it up as I go. Aside from a few events I know that I want to take place, I have no idea how I’m getting there and just let what happens on each new page take me there. A lot of times I’m surprised how the story changed, but that’s what makes it fun

23.) Are we going to find out what happened to Yup's parents?

If anything it will be subtle if it’s mentioned in passing, but IDK if it will. His dad and mom weren’t married so his dad split. His mom was into recreational drugs and was evicted from their apartment because of insufficient funds when Yup was 6. She left him at the freeway underpass when she couldn’t deal with her situation anymore. When Zadkiel found Yup he’d been on his own for a month or so.

24.) Do any of the angels or demons have any Phobias or fears? Just random things they are afraid of for no reason or for a specific reason at all

They do, it just depends on the demon. Anthea was afraid of driving on the freeway. Felix is afraid of being ignored. Zoe is afraid of small spaces.

25.) i've always been curious... what exactly were titus' spikes made of? were they some type of metal? and did it hurt him to use them?

It did hurt, but he had a high pain tolerance. They were a mixture of calcium and stone (like Cain with Abel).

26.) Do any of the angels have tattoos besides Gabriel and Raguel?

Some do, just depends. They usually have a specific reason in mind if they do.

27.) Do any of the angels look less than human?

Yes.

28.) What was laila's brother's name?

Lyle. Laila’s name is actually Veronique and her middle name is Laila. After he died, she started going by Laila to feel closer to him, since they sounded similar.

29.) Does Michael have an ex and does she have a name?

Michael does have an ex. They were together briefly before she fell, not enough time to really get attached but he was curious enough to try. They aren’t really touched upon in the comic so I never gave them a name.

30.) So something I was wondering, bc I love Ipos and wish he was in the comic longer, does he have an Irish accent because he was in Ireland for so long and decided to adapt it? Also how tf is Ipos pronounced, bc i say it like eye-pos but idk if thts right.

He has a small accent, yes. And yeah, it’s eye-pos.

31.) Have you ever imagined any Satan and Me babies? Not the characters themselves as children, but having children

32.) Since Raguel is only 55, Does that mean he actually has a birthday then?

The day he was created was April 2nd on the 20th century calendar, as opposed to the other archangels who were born at the beginning of earth’s creation.

33.) I was wondering is Michael jealous of how close nat and satan are? like when satan flew off with nat after the scuffle. I noticed Michael didnt look too happy. By the way I love your blog its the best It puts a fun twist on bible stories/charecters.

Michael is very jealous of Natalie and Satan’s relationship. It drives him up a wall.

34.) I actually thought of one, surprise surprise. We know a few of the "who knew who first" scenarios, but did felix know of Lucifer first, or meet Anthea first? I suppose the same question could go for Anthea over Felix and Gabriel.

Felix knew of Satan first and was already enamored with him by the time he met Anthea. Anthea met Felix before Gabriel, though. In that WIP Gabriel and Anthea comic pre-fall I think it’s addressed that they met later down the line.
