🏝️ Have you ever wanted to explore a desert island before? With a short ferry ride from Corralejo in the North East of @ifuerteventura, @hellocanaryislands, @spain, you can reach the peaceful little Lobos islet (Islote de Lobos)! • 🚶🚶‍♀️Earlier this year I took a guided tour around this tiny volcanic island with @thetanshow, to explore its fascinating landscape, including the beautiful golden sandy beaches, unspoilt interior, a hike up the 127 metre high Montaña de la Caldera volcano, and snorkeling in the picturesque little harbour. A delicious paella lunch from one of the few restaurants on the island was included too, at the Puertito de Lobos. • 🌱 The island, which is 4.5 square kilometres in size, has been declared a Natural Park thanks to the variety of flora and fauna that inhabit the area. The number of visitors on the island at the same time is limited so as to protect the environment and also improve the experience of the visitors. • 😌 Walking around the island is a great way to get away from noise and stress, as you will be fully immersed in nature, away from crowds and traffic. Der Strand besteht aus sehr feinem Sand, und das Wasser ist dort glasklar. Mit den Gezeiten wird der Strand übrigens zweimal am Tag geflutet, doch trotzdem kann man weiterhin spazieren gehen, da der Wasserpegel niedrig bleibt.
