CAS Challenge | April 2025

April is the month of spring transformation, and in this month-long CAS challenge, you will have one Sim go through different phases in a transformative journey. This allows you to tell a visual story across the entire month, watching your Sim age throughout. They will age in steps, going through metamorphosis.

This challenge brings plenty of customizability and a bit of a new angle to the regular CAS challenges.

CAS Challenge | April 2025

April is the month of spring transformation, and in this month-long CAS challenge, you will have one Sim go through different phases in a transformative journey. This allows you to tell a visual story across the entire month, watching your Sim age throughout. They will age in steps, going through metamorphosis.

This challenge brings plenty of customizability and a bit of a new angle to the regular CAS challenges.

RULES

Maintain core facial features throughout all transformations while showing appropriate aging.

Consider writing a brief description for each day's creation to enhance the narrative of your Sim's life journey. This is optional! Do it only if you enjoy it.

Use any clothing, hair, or accessories available to you (base game or custom content) to express your Sim's transformation.

You do not have to finish every day. Do the days you find interesting and fun!

I encourage sharing your creations—whether it's every day or just a few—but it's completely up to you!

WEEK ONE

Teen Years - Establishing Identity

Day 1: Create your Sim as a teen in their most authentic form. Establish their core features and personality by giving them traits and likes/dislikes. These core features will remain recognizable throughout their transformation journey.

Day 2: Establish your Sim’s earliest passion or interest. Show this through their appearance and style.

Day 3: How does your Sim present themselves at school? Create their typical school attire or uniform.

Day 4: Show how your Sim’s appearance changes when they meet their closest friends. What elements did they adopt from their friends?

Day 5: Dress your Sim for an important family celebration or tradition.

Day 6: Show what your Sim prefers wearing on weekends when they are free to express themselves.

Day 7: Dress your Sim as they imagine their future self! What do they think their young adult life is going to look like?

WEEK TWO

Young Adulthood - Finding Independence

Day 8: Age your Sim up to young adult. Dress them in an outfit they would wear when moving into their first independent living situation.

Day 9: Show your Sim in their first professional outfit as they get a job or continue their education.

Day 10: Show how your Sim's style evolves as they form new friendships and connections.

Day 11: Show what your Sim wears on their first date as a young adult.

Day 12: Create an outfit that reflects your Sim’s financial situation—are they thriving or struggling?

Day 13: Your Sim is going on a vacation! Reflect the type of vacation through their appearance and style.

Day 14: Design your Sim an outfit for an important life celebration or achievement during their young adult years.

WEEK THREE

Adulthood - Settling & Growth

Day 15: Age up your Sim to adulthood. Create them as their more settled and established adult self.

Day 16: Show what your Sim looks like as they advance in their career or change directions.

Day 17: How have the stresses and challenges of adult life affected your Sim’s appearance?

Day 18: Show your Sim during a reflective period—when they ponder their life choices and directions.

Day 19: Show what your Sim looks like as they rediscover or pursue an old passion they may have set aside during their busy adult years.

Day 20: Show how your Sim’s health focus has influenced their appearance in middle adulthood.

Day 21: Show your Sim when they are ready to start a family—whether that means having a child, adopting, or getting a pet.

WEEK FOUR

Elder Years - Wisdom & Legacy

Day 22: Age up your Sim to elder. Show how they are embracing their elder years.

Day 23: Show how your Sim's appearance reflects the wisdom and experience gained throughout life.

Day 24: Show your Sim in an outfit for an important family gathering as an elder.

Day 25: Create an outfit your Sim would wear when enjoying their preferred retirement leisure activities.

Day 26: Show your Sim dressed in a style that reminds them of an important period from their earlier life.

Day 27: Show how your Sim is continuing to evolve and grow through their outfit.

Day 28: For the final day, create your Sim in an outfit that incorporates elements from throughout their life journey—symbolizing the complete metamorphosis they’ve undergone!

Day 29 - Elimination Ceremony

Good evening, friends! Tonight's elimination ceremony is a little special. Why? Because this elimination is the final time the immunity idol can be used. Contestants, the possessor of the immunity idol is still in the game, and should the idol not be needed tonight, the identity of the contestant who has carried it since all the way back on Day 6 will be revealed.

Either way, this contestant will no longer be protected from the immunity idol from today forwards, since is the final time the immunity idol will be valid. So rest assured they won't have immunity into the finale!

So, let's find out who that idol-holder was, and of course, who's going home tonight!

The following contestants are safe:

Avery, Elio, and Estrello (immune)

Matteo and Nite have unfortunately received the most votes out of everyone. The result is under the cut:

The contestant with the most votes was Nite! However...

Nite is the possessor of the immunity idol, so she will be using it (conveniently) on the final elimination it can be used! Is that destiny or what? Nite is therefore safe from elimination and the contestant with the second-most votes will be eliminated instead.

Which means that the contestant eliminated from Total Drama Sims is...

"Well, I guess that's it for me. I'm not mad or anything, just a little shook since I wasn't expecting the immunity idol to be the reason I'm leaving, but oh well. I wasn't expecting to make it this far in the first place anyway, and my butt is sore from the challenge today, so I guess I need to rest up too... again..."

"The host has been saying that I'm a fan favorite, so she recommended that I do one final confessional before I leave the plane. So, um... If you've been watching me, thanks. I appreciate it. I had a lot of fun on here, more than I was expecting, to be honest. I met a lot of cool people on here. Especially Elio. I've got a lot to hand to them. I was kinda shy at first, but they helped me feel more comfortable talking to the others. They're the main reason this game was fun for me, and probably why I wasn't eliminated sooner."

"Obviously I'm gonna root for Elio. I think they should win. They're popular and have been awesome to everyone. I'm happy they were awesome to me too. I hope to come back to some of the places I visited with my band, so I guess stay tuned if you're from the places TDS has visited."

Day 27 - Elimination Ceremony

Welcome to our merge double elimination (surprise!!) 😈 Is everyone extra nervous since they found out two people are leaving the plane tonight? Definitely.

Everyone wants the prize, but you know the drill already: only 1 can win. So, to settle your nerves, let's find out the fates of our contestants.

Unfortunately Alanna, Tomiko, and Matteo received the most votes out of everyone. One is safe; they received one less vote than the other two, who ended up tying in votes. The result is under the cut:

Day 19 - Socialization Day

Guess what, kids? It's almost time for THE MERGE! This is the final socialization day before our teams dissolve for good. Tomorrow, our final challenge with the teams will take place, so today will be especially important for both within-team and cross-team bonding!

Alanna (IN) and Avery (IN) make sure to reinforce their friendship by showing each other funny videos at breakfast!

Marilyn (OD), Tomiko (OD), and Nite (OD) do the same thing and have a silly chat together!

However, Avery was not the only contestant Alanna bonded with today. Let's just say that Alanna and Estrello (IN) have been becoming... quite close 🤭 I caught Alanna sharing her leftover breakfast with Estrello this afternoon and it made me melt 😭

Ziggy (OD) was kind of in a funk today and didn't do much socializing. I think he's pretty upset about Raylan's departure, and with his teammates becoming pretty close among each other, Ziggy knows that there's a real possibility he might be choked out of his position on the plane if his team loses tomorrow...

It was a lively evening for Team Integrity, who threw themselves a dance party to hype themselves up for tomorrow's challenge!

On the flip side, it was a quiet night for Team Odyssey. Both Nite and Tomiko were unusually tired today and decided to go to bed early.

Our final socialization day with the teams closes off with Team Integrity having a close late-night chat among each other (barring Matteo as he wanted to go to bed)

"There's something about Alanna that's just... amazing. She's talented, kind, funny, and not to mention pretty... I think her wanting to experience an adventure like the ones in her stories is one of the coolest things about her. I really hope that Total Drama Sims has lived up to her expectations."

"I'm happy to have Alanna because I historically haven't had a lot of friends in the past... Team Integrity has helped with that, but ever since I started hanging out with Alanna, she has really helped me. I think we just connect really well and... I get excited whenever I see her in the morning."

Day 12 - Challenge Day

In Team Odyssey, we wear green pajamas and play on our phones together 😎 This team is making sure they start the day off right! (Though Idk how it took me this long to realize the majority of this team has similar-colored pajamas... I think it's adorable!)

So, what are we doing today? We've landed in San Myshuno, and tonight our contestants will be taking part in Planet Honey Pop's karaoke contest!

Each contestant will be participating in the karaoke contest by singing "Weekender." Everyone's individual scores will be recorded and tallied up for a team total. The team with the higher team total wins invincibility and first class!

With Team Success gone, it's now just win-or-lose for our remaining 2 teams. Will Team Integrity fall once again to the clutches of Team Odyssey? Or will Team Odyssey finally suffer its first loss? It's time to find out...

We begin with Team Odyssey! With Team Odyssey having one more person than Team Integrity, Raylan was randomly chosen to sit out this challenge. So, he's in the back with Team Integrity enjoying his teammates' performances.

Tomiko and Ziggy put in their all into singing "Weekender!" Both are confident they did well in the karaoke contest.

Team Integrity is next, and they too put in all their singing efforts into the contest. It's a good thing they have singer-boy Matteo on their team!

Though after a while, Ziggy made himself clear that he was done hearing people sing (horribly)...

Day 23 - Elimination Ceremony

Welcome to the first elimination ceremony of the merge! This is what I mean when I say that things are gonna start getting real; no teams means no protection from elimination (unless of course you win the challenge!)

People are... pretty nervous, to say the least (barring Alanna in the back who seems to feel otherwise). That's completely understandable, so without further ado, let's declare who didn't get enough votes to be eliminated!

I think this may be one of the eliminations of all time because... Marilyn and Minato received the most votes out of everyone, and they're tied! Marilyn and Minato are therefore at the mercy of the random number generator. Who will be spared and who will be axed from the competition? The result is under the cut:

"Well... I guess it's the end for me. It sucks, not gonna lie... I really thought I could win this. I didn't like the challenges at first, but they kinda grew on me as I kept doing them and made friends. I liked everyone here. Wish they would have kept me on... I feel a little betrayed, but I know it was the random number generator that got me out, so... Bad luck, I guess?"

"Since I'm not gonna win, I'm gonna cheer on for my friends Nite and Tomiko. Minato too, since he came back. It's the least I can do to feel like I've "won" in some way; if one of my friends wins."

"I guess the silver lining of losing is that I'll be with the friends that lost before me... I can't wait to see Carson and Brendan again. Touma too. I'll try to get them all to cheer for our friends that are still in the game. So Nite, Tomiko, Minato; you better win or else!"

Day 23 - Challenge Day

Welcome to the first challenge of the merge! We're in Oasis Springs to recreate the first merge challenge from all the way back from season 1: fishing for a cowplant berry! This rocky pond here in the back of Desert Bloom Park is known for its unusually high concentration of cowplant berries, and is where our contestants will try to fish for the bovine fruit in pursuit for invincibility!

This challenge is almost the exact same from season 1: The contestants will be divided into groups and will take turns fishing at the pond for 1 sim hour; the first contestant to fish up a cowplant berry will win invincibility and first class! The difference is that since we have 9 contestants instead of 8, we will be dividing the contestants into 3 equal groups instead of 2!

Our first group is Tomiko, Matteo, and Elio! Tomiko' hot weather outfit was just made for this challenge! A fish T-shirt complete with a bucket hat! She's totally ready for this challenge. During the hour, she managed to catch a nice bass!

Matteo and Elio's luck were not divided at all. Elio struggled to get anything to bite, ending up fruitless (pun intended) by the end of the hour. However, Matteo caught a HUGE salmon! Regardless, I think these two enjoyed fishing together 😉

In group 2 we have Minato, Marilyn, and Nite! Minato managed to catch a salmon as well (although smaller than Matteo's).

Sadly, Marilyn got the brush of bad luck again and was unable to catch anything. Nite was able to catch as decent bass, though!

In group 3 we have Avery, Alanna, and Estrello! Avery and Alanna were not fruitful at all and struggled to catch anything. Estrello managed to catch a treasure, but was it a cowplant berry?

Unfortunately, it ended up being a worn-out violin, but there was one person who ended up catching a cowplant berry during their designated hour...

Shortly after catching her bass, Nite also caught a cowplant berry!!

NITE WINS!

Congratulations Nite for winning the first merge challenge! You have won invincibility and first class! Also, after the elimination ceremony, Nite will have the choice to bring one person with her to first class! So, think about your choice, Nite! First class is so much better when you've got someone else with you!

Day 25 - Elimination Ceremony

Another contestant's time on the plane is coming to an end tonight. So far, we already know it's not Alanna. Let's find out who's safe, who's not, and who's going with Alanna to first class!

"So, you might be wondering why I invited Matteo to first class and not Estrello or Avery. Well, I'm strategizing. I still want to win the game, and I know Estrello and Avery will have my back, so I want to try talking to those I don't hang out with as much, like Matteo. I've talked to him a few times; he's pretty interesting. He mostly hangs out with Elio though, so I'm using my invincibility to have him around so I can get to know him better! He's probably confused that I chose him, but it's fine; I just hope he'll appreciate the opportunity to be in first class."

Day 27 - Challenge Day

Today's challenge is in Evergreen Harbor, and let's just say that we're getting our hands dirty 😈 If you hate being grimy and gross, then boy do we have the challenge for you!

The citizens of Evergreen Harbor not only love to leave their trash around, they're also known for their love to recycle and repurpose things. That's why we're going to one of Evergreen Harbor's community lots, where there's trash galore and dumpsters filled to the brim with stuff. Who knows what you might find in there?

So, for today's challenge, we're going to act like an Evergreen Harbor resident and dive in the dumpsters for whatever might be hiding in there! Y'know, to see if anything might be of use. 🤷‍♀️ The contestant whose object is the most valuable in simoleons wins invincibility and first class!

Elio dives in first, showing off their painted toenails while searching for anything of value.

Estrello and Alanna dive simultaneously; as a girl, it pains me that Alanna has to gross up her beautiful summer outfit, but the host in me is jumping for joy 😈

Matteo dives next, and while he dives, Avery decides to use the nearby recycling machine to recycle her finds, as sadly she was only able to find some worthless trash.

Tomiko had no problem diving in deep for her treasure! She is the final contestant to dumpster dive, so as soon as she found something it was time for the results!

RESULTS

Well, I think it's pretty obvious who our winner is!

ELIO WINS!

Elio found a functional computer!! And with that they knocked this challenge out of the park! While Elio decides who they might choose to bring to first class, everyone is gonna have a shower because P-U, everyone stinks!

Oh, and remember how I said this challenge was special? Well, I was actually talking about our elimination. We're having a double elimination tonight! Teehee 😈 See you all at the ceremony!

"Oh my god, that challenge was so gross... While I had my hands in there I felt something slimy, and it turned out to be a super moldy takeout somebody threw out! Ugh! I made sure to take a long shower... At least I did some good by recycling the garbage that I found, since I didn't find anything good or usable."

Day 18 - Challenge Day

We have arrived in the coastal city of Brindleton Bay, known for its bustling harbors and its love for canine and feline creatures! We will be taking part in that love for pets today, specifically the canine kind, in today's challenge!

We have enlisted the help of our new canine friend Toby, who will be joining us at the dog park to run the obstacle course you see here with our teams. As you can probably guess, we made sure to pick the most troublesome, menace-to-society dog we could; not only is Toby super lazy, he's also stubborn and doesn't like listening to human commands!

What makes this challenge special is that only one member of each team will be selected to run the obstacle course with Toby. Everyone else will get to sit and watch, hoping that their chosen team member will perform well the Toby. In the end, the team that accumulates the least amount of faults with Toby will win invincibility and first class!

The contestants chosen to be in their teams' hot seats are Matteo (IN) and Raylan (OD)! Good luck! 🤞

Matteo goes first, and although Toby was unable to go through the tunnels, he managed to jump onto a platform as Matteo directed! Matteo makes sure to reward Toby for a job (not the best) done. Matteo ended up getting 4 faults from his obstacle course run

Now, it's Raylan's turn. Although he wasn't able to get Toby through the tunnel at first, he did manage to get him to jump (ungracefully) through a ring. After trying the tunnel again with Toby, Raylan was successful in getting him through!

Raylan also got 4 faults from his obstacle course run, which means the teams are tied! We will need two more members of each team to be in the hot seat and run the obstacle course with Toby again

Estrello was chosen for Team Integrity, and although Estrello was more successful with Toby than Matteo, he still accrued 4 faults.

Marilyn was chosen for Team Odyssey, and unfortunately she did not have a good time with Toby. Although she managed to get him to jump on the platform, Toby fumbled through the ring and refused to go through the tunnel. Marilyn accrued 5 faults in her obstacle course run.

Which means that with a total of 9 faults for Team Odyssey to Team Integrity's 8...

TEAM INTEGRITY WINS!

Congratulations Team Integrity! You've begun a winning streak and are once again safe from elimination! Enjoy first class for another couple of days 😉

Team Odyssey, what happened? Narrowly defeated again? Team Integrity is really showing you all who's boss... I'll see you all at the elimination ceremony tonight!

"I just wanna say for the record that it's not my fault I got one more fault than everyone else. I went last and that dog was probably tired after having already done the obstacle course three times! Not to mention that dog isn't even trained! So, I just got super unlucky. I know I'm gonna get votes, but I shouldn't get eliminated all because some dog wouldn't listen to me! I've come way too far for that!"
