Fuzzy, meet Alpine and Alpine, meet Fuzzy. This weeks #hellosummer2021 prompt from @laurelmaeart @emilymdesigns @peachy.flair @archina.laezza @lyric.stitches @marcieillustration @abbierosie_ @quinnspinsuk and @its_lunaloo was cute critters and what better than Baurus and his cat Fuzzy that my friend came up with meeting Bucky and his cat Alpine that he owns in the comics. Two very cute critters indeed. I tried out my @danielsmithartistsmaterials clear watercolor ground to see if it would make blending any easier, mixed results. It’s easier than just the paper, but more textured than typical watercolor paper, hence the texture seen in the painting. Thoughts on it- do you like the texture or do you prefer the version like the picnic scene done without the ground? .
