Still heartbroken over the end of "The Full Moon", but I want to say two things:

We saw from a mile away that this won't go smoothly

Neither Blitz nor Stolas are in the wrong for reacting how they did. The whole thing is a very unfortunate timing and neither of them being ready to reasonably react to each other's trauma response (Stolas shut down, Blitz was enraged)

Both of them have such a long way to go, but even though it was like a shot through the heart, I do believe this breakup is a catalyst for their healing and coming to terms with certain things about each other.

Both Stolas and Blitz are so complex and such beautiful characters

A small, yet, HUGE thing that happened during the "Full Moon" episode of Helluva Boss.

Pineapple whiskey for this one, folks. Sweet but burns all the way down, just like parts of this episode. (Side eyes the Cherubs).

Blitz runs away. Granted, he is an immensely complicated character (which is why I love him just about as much as I love Alastor), with a plethora of emotional baggage. But it is a common trait for him when faced with difficult situations, especially regarding intimate partners, to just run away.

He, in part, ran away from Fiz.

He ran away from Verosika.

He ran away from Stolas as well.

But when Stolas tells him he cares, when Stolas confesses he wants more and sets Blitz free and admits to having these heavy feelings, Blitz yells and screams and says some hurtful things (no, I'm not on Stolas' side. They were both right and they were both wrong, but that is for another post).

But he doesn't run away.

"You can't just dismiss me like that! ... Well, I'm not letting you, bitch! Let's go! ... Stolas, wait. I'm sor---"

Blitz, who pushes everyone away while running in the opposite direction, stays to have the conversation just to be pushed away.

Blitz has grown. Tremendously. And I am so damn excited for more of him. And based on those few glimpses that we see of him in the S2 second-half trailer, he is not going to give up easily. He is not running this time, he's not pushing this time. Now he's fighting if only to have the conversation and I am here for it!

Blitz running towards something---someone ... I love it.

at what point in full moon did you start crying??

I teared up right here. The strings were so TENSE I literally could not breathe. Hearing the single piano key each time Stolas blinked was AWFUL FUCK U VIV THIS HURT ME I am NOT fine NOT FINE AT ALL

"Am I not, like, fucking you good enough, because I---I can always---I can always do better---"

Then I really started crying here. Look at him! LISTEN TO HIS LITTLE STUTTER I SWEAR I WAS HEARTBROKEN

I especially love the movement with his tail. That anxious little wag while his eyes went all desperate ruined me. He looks so nervous and almost insecure! Blitz took pride in the pleasure he could give Stolas, that was where he probably pinned a lot of self-worth. His immediate concern was that he wasn't pleasing him, that he wasn't good enough. He's just a little guy! Just a little, murderous, insecure guy! What he does with his tail really reminds me of the way Fizz's tail curls up around him when he's anxious or scared, and I think that's what did it for me. Blitz can't let Stolas go because if Stolas doesn't want him, who could? If Stolas doesn't like him or want him anymore, then what is he worth?

Yea I'm still crying what about y'all? Which part hurt you the most?because I swear to EVERYTHING UNDER THE FUCKING SUN VIV DONT FUCKIN HURT US LIKE THIS-

did Blitz and Stolas stargaze in the literal galaxy while one of them forged the literal stars and then spread their wings to shield the other one??? ( I think this is a fair comparison bc Stolas Could take Blitz to the stars )

Did one of them dive into a horrible lonely domain that no one has ever escaped from but instead lost themselves in forever knowing they most likely wouldn’t return just for a slight chance that they might be able to save the other one ????

Did Stolas and Blitz go through 6000 years of life on earth together??? Did one of them rescue the other one from every tricky situation he was in like ever??? We’re they each others old friends for 6000 years and then one of them left the other to go back to the very place that caused them both sm misery after the other one finally confessed their love???

Did one of them follow the other through an Apocalypse the other has literally started, witnessing the most awful things ever happening to humanity and did the other one attempt to go behind everyone’s plan at the end but when the other stood before them they begged them to stab them and end it all just so they Might end up Somewhere Else bc they couldn’t fathom having to see the other one die and disappointing them????????

Not to say that full moon wasn’t tragic but C’MON

Happy Gay month you get angst!

I feel like so many people are misinterpreting their argument. To me they are both in the wrong, like Stolas shouldn’t have sprung this on to Blizø like that. And Blizø should have read Stolas emotions better. And see horny is not the vibe right now. I think Stolas should have been more clear that one this won’t effect Blizø’s Business and two that Stolas wants this to be more than physical attraction and be romantic as well.

That’s just my two cents honestly.
