Two epic shots of one of the coolest buildings in Estonia: the Tallinn Olympic Yachting Centre, completed in 1980. Built for the sailing events of Moscow Olympics. The photos depict the cantilevered central part of the building, what used to be the Inter Club (does anyone know what that means?) and later used as the conference centre. The first proper highrise building in Tallinn, the Finnish-built Viru Hotel, built to accommodate the rising number of Finnish tourists in Estonia after the ferry line between Helsinki and Tallinn was reopened in 1965. The hotel was designed in 1964-1968, and finally completed in 1972.
