Headcanon

A couple of weeks after they've moved back to Alexandria, Daryl realizes he might not be as great at cockblocking as he'd hoped, when Lydia starts suffering from morning sickness.

Unsure of how to approach her about this without making her uncomfortable (and because he assumes Henry is the father) he asks Carol to talk to her.

It turns out, in a post-apocalyptic world with curious teenagers in love and without condoms, things just happen.

Carol and Daryl help and support Lydia as much as they can and eventually she gives birth to a little girl and Carol&Daryl become grandparents.
