i’ve literally shipped them so much the entire time even though i still slightly shipped him and Homura. honestly, there were so many moments between Weisz and Hermit, but i didn’t wanna get my hopes up too much UNTIL THIS CHAPTER

Edens Zero chapter 256: From Eternity Long Past

Day 5: Treehouse

Characters:

Shinobu

You were currently wandering behind Shinobu through the forest just outside the butterfly mansion where she said she needed help with something and you agreed to help as long as it wasn’t going to kill you with poison. At that, your wife laughed and simply started walking which you eventually learned in the past meant that it was most likely safe because she would tell you otherwise. “Dear, we’ve been wandering for an hour or two now. We are going in the right direction, right?” you asked with a raised eyebrow and saw her happily smile back at you. “Of course, we’re here!” she exclaimed sweetly. “But there’s nothing here-” you said and trailed off when she tipped your head up where a treehouse-looking building rested in the trees. You both carefully made your way up and tried to look down at the drop below, gasping at what you saw and looking around you several times. Butterflies surrounded you both as Shinobu took in your fascinated expression.

Asra

Asra had told you earlier today that he had something to show you that you used to use with him and you have to use to travel there. To say you were excited was an understatement and he could tell, gathering his things and waiting for you at the door. You both walked out into the morning sun and through the market, stopping briefly to get some pumpkin bread for the trip and some fruit. Asra thanked the baker and intertwined your hands, kissing the back of it and walking towards the forest. “I think you’ll enjoy this, my darling. We used to go here a lot and now that it’s getting warmer we can go.” he said and leading to a large oak tree with an opening at the bottom, he nodded his head toward the opening and helped you make your way down. Then as magic does you then turned around only to come out into a different fantastical magical forest in vibrant beautiful colors and the tree you came out of now held a cozy treehouse resting among it’s branches. “Shall we?” Asra asked and smiled at your amazed expression, making his way up to the treehouse where it was cozy and comfortable.

Hermit

It was a free day where you all had stopped for a break while drifting through space and Hermit had found you, telling you she had something to show you and bringing you to a part of the ship you hadn’t seen. You stepped into the room after Hermit inputted a code where trees, real ones if you had to guess, filled the room and through the branches in the back, you could see a treehouse high up. “This is a place where I go when I need some alone time or want some quiet.” she said with a soft smile. She led you over to the base of the big tree, climbing up the large branches to the entrance. You were confused now but focused more on climbing. “Wait. Then why did you show me a place that you prefer to keep to yourself?” you asked and took her hand when she offered it, pulling you into the treehouse with ease and gesturing to the many beanbags and pillows around with a small bookcase. “Because I know you’d keep this place close to yourself and not tell everyone. Besides I trust you.” She said confidently and smiled softly, picking a book and settling into a beanbag with you not far behind.

Another great Edens Zero episode!

Rebecca’s leaping ability would be way too broken if it didn’t have some drawbacks. Only being able to go a few minutes back in the past and at extreme physical cost will make her much more reluctant to spam that in the future.

Of course, that’s not the full extent of her power. She still hasn’t mastered the week long leaping style she did in the last arc, but even when she does master that it’ll have the drawback of creating a new world line.

Cute Weisz and Hermit bonding! That headpat was so sweet. But man, this bum Dr. Müller is back and as hypocritical as can be. Didn’t he just hate machines? Now he’s turned himself into one and working for one lol.

Seeing hermit get a legit bout of PTSD there was rough. Can’t wait to see she and Weisz take that loser down for good.

And Ah it wouldn’t be a battle shonen without the character who has a blinding sense of justice trying to stop the heroes from accomplishing their mission 😂 wonder what Elise did to get Justice this angry. Titan, who is weaker than Justice, easily took down beast 1 who are considerably stronger than beast 6 who Shiki and co. struggled against. This’ll be fun.
