y’know if some of y’all would direct the energy you use to debunk matpat’s theories towards critical thinking abt world events we’d be a much more educated society overall
#/lh#/hj but like#not really?#trust me i completely understand how shitty thinking abt current events is#and it’s much easier to expend energy on less exhausting things#but education is the first and most important step towards creating our own better world#and seeing people#CLEARLY intelligent people#herp-a-derping around the internet while putting so much effort into making a fool of themselves?#it just makes me sad#matpat isn’t the only one#people give travis mcelroy so much shit all the time when they could instead be#oh i dunno#directing their rage at their local governors via phone calls and participating in polls and petitions#i get it. i don’t wanna do it either and i don’t blame anyone for making the internet a safe place from the world around them#this post is specifically directed at people who get all self righteous about proving some pixel measurements wrong#and then turn around and blindly consume media without questioning where it’s coming from#it’s just. really frustrating to watch#vent?#i guess this kinda turned into one#jm jabbers
