A) The first one is about WangXian having an arranged marriage and Wei Ying in the beginning tries to get along with Lan Zhan but then when he notices that he's not very responsive he ends up being kind of like cold to him but in the end they do realize that they love each other also Wei Ying is mostly a stay at home husband and there are no original characters in this one. I'm pretty sure it has multiple chapters but I may be wrong.

B) The second one is a case fic one where WangXian go to this town where apparently the Yiling laozu is terrorizing but it turns out to be Jin Zixuns son who he himself has possessed and they solve it. Thinking about it she looks like she could be in Todd's bio family if you look closely at his dad there are some resemblance

So I theorize that Gem is their grandmother and half the reason why she was even out there was try to get enough funds to help find her grandson, also it would explain the goofiness of the boys because they would literally got that from her

As Aki pocket the camera, Goku noticed Aki and his family weren’t the only ones here from ChiChi’s village. “Kaifun?” He’s aged more than Aki. His long black hair was short and sparkling with strands of silver. Next to him was an old grumpy lady he never expected to see again. She’s still alive?

“Hey, Goku,” Kaifun spoke as a man carrying a heavy burden. He didn’t give Goku the scornful gaze he was used to seeing. “I know I’m the last person you expected to see but when I heard you were returning, even for a day, I needed to see you again to apologize for how I was to you. I wasn’t a good person to you. I should’ve been a friend to you like Aki. I’m so grateful for what you did for us.” He held out his hand to Goku. “I don’t blame you if you don’t forgive me but I am sorry for how I treated you.”

Goku looked at Kaifun’s hand. It was strange seeing him and even stranger hearing Kaifun apologize. He held so much hatred for Goku. Kaifun never thought Goku was good enough for ChiChi and for years, waited for him to screw up so he could move in on ChiChi. Now, Kaifun wanted to put the past behind them, and Goku, not one to hold a grudge, shook Kaifun’s hand. 

Looking past Kaifun, Goku wondered if Mrs. Niver came for the same reason. Is she gonna apologize to me, too?

Kaifun turned to his grandmother. “Grandma, don’t you have something to say to Goku?”

The seven years weren’t kind to Mrs. Niver. She was slower as her cane assisted her. Her face was very wrinkled and weathered with spots, and her once thick, white hair was thinner. She wore that same scornful, bitter expression Goku remembered when they last saw each other. “Seven years ago, I thought you were a waste of sperm. I apologize for that. When you died seven years ago, you proved you weren’t a total waste of sperm. You showed the world there was something good about you. Your sperm. It helped create Gohan and he killed Cell.” The old woman smiled revealing no teeth. “Thank you, Goku, for doing one good thing in your waste of a life.”

Overhearing, Vegeta rolled his eyes and Gohan slapped his forehead. ChiChi was grateful Goten didn’t hear as he chatted with Naoko or she would’ve hit the old woman. Aki muttered, ‘I knew it’ while Kaifun scolded his grandmother, “Grandma!! You were gonna apologize!”

“I did.” Mrs. Niver saw no wrong in her words. “I said he wasn’t a total waste of sperm!”

Kaifun was embarrassed and speechless at his grandmother. He looked to apologetic to Goku who laughed. Some people will never change and Goku wasn’t bothered by it one bit.

“Dad,” Gohan pulled Goku’s arm. “We’re next to register.”

Goku turned away chuckling, “It’s nice to see some things haven’t changed.”

“I wish she did,” ChiChi muttered. The death glare ChiChi sent Mrs. Niver would’ve had anyone else shaking in fear but the old woman grinned malicious, pleased she got one last cruel remark in. “She is truly a heartless woman.”

Once things have settled down and I feel a bit more human again I've got a whole backlog of drafts to be queued, fics to rec and some metas I'd like to write (along with some tags to respond to!)...

But for now here's a mug I found in the wilds of the January homewares sales. I like to think WWX would have it in a modern AU where he's headed off to Yilling farms to help his friends the Wens out of a tight spot. He thinks the clunky pun is hilarious and never seems to notice that he always brings it out when LWY comes around. WQ detests it on sight, and WN is constantly rescuing it from the increasingly obscure corner cupboards she tries to banish it to.

This is something I wrote inspired by the latest ask, with wy losing his memories. Its unedited and written in messenger to my friends 😅 I'll probably edit it and post it on my AO3 some day. Anyhow.. here it is

"Who are you?" WY asks years later as LWJ brings him his morning meal. He has done so ever since the first time he asked the question, every time LWJ comes to see him.

Ever since LWJ found out the truth, about WY's missing core. Why WY's memories will always be lost, he has condemned himself to this. He suffers every time he hears the question, hates the confusion in WY's voice. This is his fault, he must bare it. But he doesn't know who he does it for. No one is there to forgive him for what he has done. No one who has the power to ever will. WY will never know, understand what happened to him, will never know to even be mad at LWJ. Because as much as WY deserves it, LWJ can't bring himself to tell him about the spell.

Others have told him that it doesn't matter anyway, that WY wouldn't remember either way. But LWJ knows the true reason as to why he doesn't. He doesn't know how WY would react if he did tell him, knows that he'll probably be angry and confused. And he knows that he'll have forgotten it the next time they meet... LWJ can't bear to t face WY's anger, only for it to be replaced by confusion hours later. So... he doesn't tell him.

Instead he introduces himself, talks to him. Over the years they have gone through every possible subject, sometimes twice in the same day at different meals, but LWJ could never tire of this. Not when this is his only option if he wants to keep WY in his life. Not when this is all he gets.

If only no one had found that scripture. If only he hadn't let himself be convinced to help. If only he hadn't gotten WY to trust him, even though he didn't even tell him what he was about to do. But he had, and this will be his penance. Forever if he has to.

Over the years he has learned to read WY, better than he ever could before. And it broke his heart when he realised what WY's relentless teasing meant all those years ago. That he could have stopped this from happening, if only he had realised that he wasn't alone in his feelings. If he had only confessed earlier, gotten WY's trust, gotten his confidence. If WY had dared to tell him from the beginning, then maybe it wouldn't have ended up like this. Then maybe... just maybe, LWJ wouldn't have to see WY fall in love with him over and over again. Maybe he wouldn't have to see the teasing in WY's eyes when he bid him farewell, calling him Lan-er-gege. LWY always left just under 2 hours after he arrived at WY's cottage, because despite himself he couldn't bear to be there when WY's face turned blank and then filled with confusion, not after the first times. He couldn't bear to see WY's face turn to fear as he realised that something must be wrong, if he couldn't remember the man infront of him, or how he even got there.

Instead he'd leave, and come back two hours later, only for it to repeat.

He tried to tell himself, sometimes, that it was worth it. That it was better than when WY was slowly isolating himself with the Wen remnants. Slowly starving with all the cultivation world out to get him. But he knew that he was lying to himself. He would take WY's hate, would take his anger.

He would take his reluctant forgiveness, when LWJ would have offered to join him in the burial mounds. He would rather live with him there. Forsake the cultivator world with him. Live a simple life and, maybe eventually he would have worked up the courage to tell him the truth about his feelings. And WY would have laughed and they would have lived and loved each other. But... he hadn't, that hadn't happened. And it never would. Because LWJ had been a coward. And now he had to bear the punishment for it. Had to live in torment as WY fell in love over and over again. See his confusion turn to joy, see the mischief in his eyes as he teased and teased.

He had to take, whatever WY gave him in those moment, whatever he could get, knowing that it would all be lost soon. As soon as LWJ walked out the door, those moments would be lost forever, remembered only by him, only to be written down in notes stored safely under the floor of the Jingshi, never to be read by anyone. He would listen to WY's teasing as he left. Hear WY call him just as he did when they were teens. He would have to brace himself for what he knew was coming, only so he could stop the tears enough that WY never saw them. He couldn’t bear to hear his questions. Couldn’t take the sympathy that he knew WY would give him.

Once, he had asked himself, if it would have been better if WY had simply died from the spell, instead of this. Maybe it would have been kinder, at least to WY. But LWJ was selfish. He prefered this.

"Who are you" WY asked, when LWJ walked in with his meal.

LWJ put the tray down on the table. Kept his back to WY as he swallowed his tears. Forced his composure back, forced his face into the same face he had born for so many years before he met WY. Then he turned to face him.

"I am Lan Wangji, from the Gusu Lan sect. Nice to meet you." After a beat, an afterthought...

"You may call me Lan Zhan"

He would forever hold on to the wish that the spell would someday stop working, that he would someday walk into the cottage and be met by WY calling his name.

"Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan!" He would say.

"I remember you" he would promise, held in LWJs arms, holding him right back.

"I forgive you... I love you..." he would whisper, kissing LWJs tears away from his face.

Tomo was sitting on his bed, pulling his hair and breathing heavily. Todd walked in and saw Tomo as his eyes widened, feeling worried. He had seen this happen before to Professor Fixit, but he didn't know what to do. He walked slowly towards Tomo, not trying to scare him. He watched as Tomo cried and tugged on his hair, and as he finally reached Tomo's bed, he sat next to him. Todd figured yelling at him wouldn't help, so he decided to start patting Tomo’s head, not knowing what else to do. He knew Tomo didn't really like physical touch, so he didn't think hugging him would be the best option. Todd stayed quiet, thinking that speaking could possibly scare Tomo. He continued patting Tomo’s head, trying to calm him down. Eventually, Tomo started to calm down and he let go of his hair. He looked around and noticed Todd patting his head.

“..You can stop now.”

“Oh, sorry.”

Todd pulled his hand away.

“You alright now..?”

“Yeah, my head just really hurts..”

“I wonder why.”

“Fuck off, smartass.”

Todd laughed a bit, getting up and walking out of Tomo’s room.

Sasuke was right to want to seek revenge and a change of the system, and he was right to kill Danzo (and should have been allowed to kill the other elders too tbh) but where he took it too far was wanting to kill all the kage’s, which includes gaara. A boy who was directly harmed by the exact system sasuke wanted to change and who wanted to make it better.

Sasuke should have been allowed to be a part of konoha in a way that meaningfully changed the system insread of just deciding ‘actually everything is ok and i’m going to leave to ‘atone for my actions’

Madara:

I’m going to say it. Not impressed.

Like seriously inwould have liked the war arc a LOT more if it was Just Obito and he got to die a villian, and the old Kage’s were never brought bCk. Madara had an interesting story in the past but bringing him and the kage’s back completely destroyed the point of characters LwYs saying ‘the new generation surpasses the old’ and was honestly so boring in my opinion.

I do not understand the love for madara and i probably never will.

Hidan’s just stupid and ya it’s funny but people who think he should have won against shikamaru and kakashi are hilarious because the entire point of that arc was immortality like hidan’s could only be defeated by intelligent approach and not brute force. A character like gai would never have been able to defeat Hidan, even though his is physically far stronger. Hidan and kakazu needed to be taken down by intelligent characters and it’s why i like the fight. Seeing kakashi use his intelligence and having shikamaru’s intelligence shine in battle.
