Hetaween 2023 - [C O S M I C H O R R O R]

WARNING; Graphic descriptions of gore and body horror

His head was ripped clean off his shoulders, the blood spewing out his neck as if a fresh pimple had been popped. Eduard's body fell to the ground with a thump, the creature falling out his now lifeless hands. He laid there, bleeding.

The gelatinous creature stayed still, lazily lounging in the patch of grass that cushioned his fall. It started to digest the head, still intact with the expression of joy Eduard had. It dissolved into nothing, skull and all, retaining only the fleshy pink brain.

The creature slithered over to the body. It nestled against the gaping hole of Eduard's neck, still oozing. Its peculiar glutinous flesh started to elongate. It grew like a creeping plant and wound its way down both the trachea and esophagus. Secondary skinnier tendrils burrowed through exposed veins. The blood was forced out quicker now, as every crevice of the body was filled with mochi. The main blob of creature anchored itself onto the neck. Stillness followed.

Then, slowly, the creature's blank-eyed countenance shifted, making a grim, makeshift replica of Eduard's head.

The body's limbs, stiff with new stuffing, violently and heavily twitched. The arms and legs jerked around like the stiff appendages of china dolls, unable to be maneuvered gracefully.

Suddenly, 'Eduard' stood up. He swayed. Then steadied himself.

He could hear the calling voices of Raivis and Tolys. They sounded concerned now.

It took only a few steps to work out how to walk properly. It only took a few garbled coughs to learn how to speak.

His voice rang clear through the trees.

"I'm right over here, guys!"

@hetaween-event Day 1: Cabin in the woods

These two images are part of a series of photographs depicting rural life in Eastern Europe at the end of the 19th century. They became notorious in certain online spaces due to an urban legend tied to them: it is said that the couple depicted disappeared in the autumn of 1870 under mysterious circumstances. However, this is only a rumour, since neither of the two women have ever been identified. Additionally, people claim to see a giant human-like shape among the trees in the first photograph, which they believe is related to their alleged disappearance. However, this is most likely an illusion created by the strong shadows and poor quality of the image.

France in Hetalia is just too cute for my heart to handle ♥♥♥

Of course to match the theme perfectly, I did his traits in black inside the France country and under the flag colours (blue, white, red).

And of course I didn't forget to add Corsica, they're part of our country too after all.
